I bought this for my toddler initially. She has very curly hair and I was looking for a product that would smooth out the long curls. I really love the smell, smoothness it leaves, and efficiency. My husband and nine year old now yse it as well. It has made brushing long curly hair and long thin hair more easy. We use this 1-3 times per week. This product also seems to be pretty gentle. My daughter is very sensitive to a lot of hair products and we have been using this product for almost six months, with no adverse reaction.

This is a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner and perhaps that is the exact problem. While it cleans your hair it also leaves it a little oily. ATleast that is the experience that I have had with it. Effectiveness IT leaves the hair a little oily after use. Scent The smell is not bad. It is not too strong or too soft. It smells like your average shampoo.

I often opt for shampoos that advertise 2 in 1 but I usually have to use regular conditioner along with using the 2 in 1. With Dove I do not have to do that. I can just use this product and my hair is tangle free. I can even brush my hair when it is wet. I like to travel with this product because I only have to pack one bottle instead of two. Effectiveness Very effective product. I found that this product moisturizes the scalp and makes my hair super soft and shiny. Easy and convenient. I hate when I run out of just conditioner because I use more conditioner than I do shampoo. I no longer have to worry about that with this product. Scent Smells clean. Light scent that lasts a long time. My hair still smells great even after it has dried and i have worn it down for a period of time. The perfume in this product does not cause a irritation or dry skin. Moisturizes great, smells great, easy to use and easy to find, very convenient.

This shampoo/conditioner in one makes my hair feel SO soft! It looks and feels so full, and healthy. And the conditioner actually works- unlike some of the other 2-in-1's I have tried. I use this shampoo/conditioner on a daily basis, and only do a deep conditioning about once a month!

Dove products are one of my favorites. Down to earth ... Not gimmicks ...Just the real thing. Simple but lovely. I use the daily moisture therapy 2 in 1 every other day. Works for me. I have normal to dry hair and if I were to use this every day I think I would find my hair a bit on the oily side.. Sure is convenient not have to use conditioner after shampooing. Thats a time consumer on a busy morning. 2 large 25+ bottles will last the two of us well into the start of summer...and no need for conditioner! I know Oprah endorses Dove products but that is not why I purchased this product. I was visiting a friends house and instead of using my Panteen I tried hers and was pleasantly pleased. So I came on to amazon and decided to purchase. Arrived shortly and haven't used anything since. If you can sign up for subscribe and save you will save a ton. It will cost you less than a bottle of Suave at the grocery store.

I bought this shampoo based on the fact that I love Dove products on the whole and I went into it with high hopes that the shampoo would be as good. I was wrong. I should first say that although it didn't do a great job on my hair, it smells AWESOME! It has a very clean smell and it stays that way for most of the day. I have had several compliments on the scent. But that is all as far as the good aspects of this product go. I have fine hair, but it tends to be very dry, so I get need a shampoo that moisturizes. I think this shampoo actually dried my hair out more. I used a conditioner on the ends after shampooing becasue it left my hair extremely tangled and I was not able to easily comb through after. Even with the addition of the conditioner, my hair was very dried out. I was very disappointed since we are loyal users of the Dove brand. I will not be finishing the product that is left in the bottle. Such a shame.

There are a lot of wonderful attibutes the Dove Daily Moisture Therapy 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner.  First, it actually does moisturize and leave your hair soft and smooth, which is very helpful as I live in a dry climate.  Second, it comes with a salon-style pump top so you don't have to fumble with a bottle cap in the shower.  Plus, it's easy to dispense just what you need without having shampoo drip down the side of the bottle.  Third, the scent is not as strong as some Dove products (like their bar soaps), so if you have a slight sensitively to strong fragrances (as I do), this may not bother you as much.  Fourth, and best of all, the shampoo and conditioner are combined into one product so you have fewer bottles lying around, and it's actually faster to wash your hair, get out of the shower and get on your way to work or wherever you need to go.  This is great for those quick washes, such as when you've just come home from work and want to do a quick clean up before meeting friends for dinner.

Its not suitable for those who are suffering with dandruff or dry scalp. Generally I have habit to try new one so I gave a try. I am willing to pay for quality, but I also hate doing my hair and spending too much time washing it. With long hair, I have to find products that work for me but don't require too much attention or space. I said space. Yes... when you travel a lot like I do, you want something that doesn't take up too much space in your luggage. I like to use all-in-ones because they simply take up less space. After using this all-in-one, I don't walk away feeling I got the best moisturizer, or that my hair feels silky smooth. But, it's decent. It smells fantastic and since I don't wash daily, it keeps my hair smelling wonderful for awhile. I appreciate that, obviously. Every once in awhile, I throw in a little anti-dandruff. Since it doesn't include a heavy conditioner, I think that's essential. For those on the move, like me, this is a decent bottle to purchase for the price and for the convenience of it all.

I definitely did NOT like this product. I have used dove bar soap for years and really liked how it left my hands and skin soft. I like the fact that the brand adds lotion to its soap, so it leaves my hand very moisturized. However with the shampoo and conditioner, there is something in it that leaves my hair so so flat! It looks terrible! It does not add any volume to my hair and makes it look terrible! I feel like the product is also so difficult to clean out. The next morning I shower, I feel like my hair is sticky and that I did not rinse it out well enough the night before. However, I found this to be true every time I use dove and never with other hair product brands. That being said, I really do not prefer this product and do not suggest for those who want volume and texture to their hair. This hair product is better for girls who have thicker hair that they want to calm down and make less volumized.
