I have previously purchased and tried this Dove Damage Therapy Volume Boost Shampoo and it worked pretty good although it is not the best shampoo i have tried. I can honestly say that it does help a little with the damage your hair already has from constantly using hair dryers and different appliances on it. I did notice less split ends after i used this Dove Damage Therapy Volume Boost Shampoo. That is really important because I have never found that it many other shampoos. Also it does help to smooth my hair. The main problem I have with this shampoo is the same problem I have with most and that is that it does not offer any moisturizing so it does not leave my hair as soft as it could. This Dove shampoo is very reasonably priced and is in the average price range for a shampoo. If you check around you can find it on sale and it is an even better deal. It did do a good job cleaning my hair so that is a plus. And as with most all of the Dove products I try it really has a nice scent. It may be a littler strong but its still good.

Dove has been a trusted brand for me. I purchased the Dove Damage Therapy Volume Boost shampoo online after watching the advertisement of the product on television. I then applied the shampoo to each strand of my hair and followed all the instructions given on the bottle. After washing my hair, the hair felt soft but while combing the hair, it started breaking a lot. I continued using this product for a month but still I could not notice any result with regards to the quality of my hair. The ingredients of this product include sodium chloride which helps in nourishing the hair and reducing the effect of hard water, while cocamidopropyl betaine works as a medicine for the hair. My hair looked dry and rough and my hair kept falling. I could not leave the house without oiling my hair as it looked messy. I would not recommend this product as it did not work for me as expected.

As a general rule, I love Dove products. Their moisturizing bar soap, in particular, cannot be beat. Dove Damage Therapy Volume Boost Shampoo, however, was not my favorite. I am not generally too picky about shampoos--there are several brands that I like and can use interchangeably--but Dove shampoo just is not quite up to par, for my hair at least. The smell is pleasant but bland. It is not overly strong and leaves a clean but unremarkable scent that does not linger for more than a couple of hours after use. The shampoo is not overly thick in consistency--it is actually on the thinner side of the viscosity spectrum--but it is creamy. I prefer a rich, luxurious lather, but this shampoo's lather was, to me, a bit weak. Also, if you are looking for additional volume, you will need more than just this shampoo. I did not notice any difference in volume at all (my hair is curly, but does not have a lot of natural volume).

I tried this shampoo because I have long straight hair that doesn't have any volume and I wanted a shampoo that added volume to save time over using mousse or hair spray. This shampoo cleaned well and left my hair feeling clean and soft. The shampoo lathered easily and rinsed out of my hair pretty quickly. The shampoo is not too thick. I was disappointed that it did not give noticeable volume though even after consistent use. Maybe my hair is too long for this type of shampoo to have any effect but I was not happy with the results regarding volume. I have not purchased another bottle of because of that. The shampoo was also pretty expensive which was disappointing. I expected more results from this company. I would not recommend this shampoo for volume but it cleans well. Effectiveness Not effective on volume but is a good daily cleansing shampoo. Scent Pleasant and not too strong.

I have been a long time fan of Dove products, and using this product has not changed my opinion on that, if anything it has improved it. This product lives up to its claims and does exactly what it says it's going to do. This shampoo is great to use if you have damaged hair, it restores it from whatever trauma it's gone through. It also provides a ton of volume. It you suffer from flat hair use this shampoo and you'll never have to worry about that problem again. Your hair feels thicker and fuller. I already have very thick hair but it was noticeable even for me. This shampoo also provides a lot of moisture and hydration, even though it doesn't claim to. That is one thing I love about all of Dove's products, they are all so extremely hydrating. I think the hydration it provides works to help restore your damaged hair, and to protect it against further damage. I've found Dove's products to all be affordable as well, so this product really is a winner.

I think the Dove shampoo is one of the best you can use if you are looking for something to revitalize your hair. My hair is really long and has a lot of damage from coloring it over the years. I am always looking for shampoos that will repair damage done to my hair and also give it a volume boost. This shampoo did the job for me. It gave my hair a lot of the moisture back that it was missing. It repaired a lot of damage done. It also gave my long hair a lot of volume. I would highly recommend this shampoo. It is one of the best I have used and I have tried a lot of shampoo. Effectiveness I find this to be incredibly effective shampoo. It really did what it advertised. My hair had volume and a lot of the damage was repaired from coloring it. It is highly effective. Scent The scent is great! It isn't a scent that stayed with my hair all day but it smelled really good when I used it. It is even better if you use the conditioner with it as well. I would recommend this product.

I love Dove products and how they work with people such as myself with sensitive skin. I decided to purchase this shampoo to try out. I was pleased about some things about the product, such as the softness. It was very gently when I scrubbed it into my scalp. It did leave my hair feeling more volatilized. The thing I disliked the most, and the reason why I will not purchase it again is the way it left my roots feeling. After rinsing out the shampoo and drying my hair, my roots felt greasy like there was a left over residue of shampoo. No matter how much I rinsed my hair I could not get this feeling out of my hair. Overall, it is a good shampoo if you have sensitive skin but it did not work with my type of hair. Effectiveness Did give my hair a boost of voluminous that other shampoos have not given me before. I however did not like the greasy feeling that this shampoo left. Scent This was one of my favorite things about the shampoo and why I was so disappointed when it did not work out for me. The scent of this shampoo left a nice clean, fresh scent that was not overpowering. This is great for sensitive skin.

For course hair it is great. It leaves it silky and manageable without making it limp and with an inability to style. It is very moisturizing and has relieved my dry scalp. The only draw back I have found is that since it is so very moisturizing I must wash my hair every day or my scalp starts to feel dirty. If I go every other day my scalp will start to get itchy. I do like how my course, dry hair feels so soft but I am not used to washing this often. I am used to saving a lot of money on shampoo since I only have to shampoo 3 days a week on the average, not with Dove, I have to shampoo every day. Effectiveness I would not say it is a big body boost but it is a great moisturizing shampoo. My hair has been soft yet not limp and fly away. It holds a style and shape. If I do not use other products in my hair to style it is still very smooth and soft with a little body. The shampoo rinses clean without any build up while leaving the hair silky and soft, not greasy feeling at all. Scent The scent is pleasant, not overly perfume heavy and it doesn't linger in an overpowering smell. It is also not irritating on the scalp or skin and I have not had any issues with eye irritation that are all associated with heavy perfumes.

I'm a serial shampoo trier. I love trying different shampoos on the market to see what works best. I also find that, over time, your hair sort of becomes immune to shampoo so you need to switch it up occasionally. But I frequently find myself returning to Dove shampoos and conditioners. In particular, Dove's Damage Therapy Volume Boost Shampoo. I use Dove body wash and deodorant and I really like their products in general. Dove is a brand I trust. And their volume boost shampoo is no exception. I like this shampoo because it lathers nicely, lasts a long time, makes my hair feel really clean, is moisturizing so I feel that my hair being adequately nourished (which is great if you heat dry or style or worry about split ends), and I think it gives nice volume to my hair without making it frizzy, or full of static or flyaways. It is gentle enough to use every single day, doesn't weigh my hair down, smells nice, and doesn't give me too much volume either. My hair always feel clean with this shampoo. I can't think of anything I don't like about it. I frequently return to using this product. It is one of my favorites and one I would definitely recommend to others to try.

Dove Damage Therapy Volume Boost Shampoo is the best for the price. I have very fine hair and I keep it long. I was surprised by this shampoo and loved the way it made my hair feel and smell. Because I have long fine hair and use hairspray I was damaging my hair. This was amazing. It took the hair spray out and made it feel so clean and soft. I think that this shampoo is better than some of the more expensive designer brands. This left my hair feeling soft and silky and made my hair have volume. I have told my sister about this product because she has the same type of hair as me and she loves it too. So if you have damaged hair, long, short, straight, or curly and need to get it on the right tracked to repair the damage I would highly recommend this product. It smells great and will start making your hair healthy and beautiful with a boost of volume and shine. So all in all this is a must buy for anyone looking to repair the years of damage to their hair.
