I love using fragrance free products because I get migraines, and my kids have eczema. This Downy works, but I always dilute it in the fabric softener dispenser with a little extra water. If you don't clean your washer very often like me, it has a tendency to gunk up the dispenser. A couple times it did not drain at all and the cup was still full when the wash cycle was over. Since then, if I dilute it a little bit, then there's no problem. Other than that minor inconvenience, I am very happy with the product.

I love Downy products. For most of my family I use the Downy liquid fabric softener with a scent. For my baby I like to use this one for sensitive skin and without a strong scent. I love that it still makes my baby clothes, bedding and blankets very soft but it won't irritate her gentle skin. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants very soft laundry without perfumes or dyes that can irritate sensitive skin. Performance Love how well this product works at making my baby's clothes so soft yet gentle for her skin. I will continue to use this for all my baby clothes, blankets and bedding. One thing I also like is using this product helps keep clothes from having that static cling. One thing I also like is the price isn't bad. It's a little more than other products, but worth what you pay. Scent It's perfect because there is literally no scent. I would say maybe there is a mild clean scent but it's so small it's not really noticeable.

I have always used Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Softener. Then a couple of years ago, I started itching and getting so uncomfortable when sleeping. I then realized the fabric softener was too blame. I called Tide, and unfortunately they had changed the formula with a different scent. I was allergic to the new scent. So, very skeptically I switched to the Free and Sensitive Fabric Softener. I am so happy that it was as stated. No perfumes or dyes, free and gentle to sensitive skin. My sheets and clothes come out so soft without those strong scents that irritate my skin. Performance This product really does the job! It softens my clothes, doesn't irritate my skin, and the sheets come out so soft and fluffy. This is a great product for babies and younger children's sensitive gentle skin. No allergens to irritate their tender skin. My itching has stopped, and I am so much more comfortable in my clothes. Thank you Tide for making a product that is sensitive to my skin, yet works great! Scent I love that there is no scent in this product. No more allergies with a fabric softener! Perfume and dye free.

I try my hardest to find products that are gentle and natural because my kids have extremely sensitive skin. Unfortunately for the longest time that meant foregoing the soft fluffiness of fabric softener. Until now! Thank goodness for Downy Ultra Free & Sensitive Liquid Fabric Softener. It works wonderfully as a fabric softener but doesn't seem to leave the typical fabric softener residue that is so irritating to my sensitive kiddos. I do have one complaint though, and as a busy mom of three kids who is forced to use a laundromat lately, it's a pretty significant complaint: Downy Ultra Free & Sensitive Liquid Fabric Softener doesn't work in my Downy Ball! The laundromat machines don't have a softener dispenser, leaving me to rely heavily on my Downy Ball. So it's extremely frustrating that Downy Ultra Free & Sensitive Liquid Fabric Softener is so thick I can barely get it into the ball. Then only about half of it comes out during the wash. Then I have to scrape and soak the ball to get the rest out. It's very frustrating and time consuming.

This is wonderful fabric softener if you or anyone in your household suffers from any skin issues. When my son was born he had the worst sensitive skin ever. I had to stop using all extra's when I washed clothes. I couldn't deal with the static cling and stiff clothes anymore so I gave this a try. I was presently surprised that it did not irritate my son's skin at all. He had not one red patch of eczema from this product. It also made our clothes soft, fluffy, and completely free of static. Some products claim to be sensitive skin safe but really aren't, Downy has made one that truly is safe. Performance Works very well on keeping clothes nice and soft and fluffy. Also works well at reducing static cling in clothes. I have a high efficiency washer and this has worked well in it. Scent There really is no scent to this. Maybe a real light scent but it is not strong enough to even describe. A free and clear product should not have a scent though.

My skin is odd and sometimes decides it wants to be sensitive and then switches back to normal. I frequently switch back and forth between "normal" products and "sensitive ones. I hate switching back and forth but sometimes I find the "sensitive" products are lacking in effectiveness. Downy Ultra Free & Sensitive is one "sensitive" product I have kept around because it does not bother my skin and also works amazingly! I love Downy products and this one is no exception. My clothes come out incredibly soft. There is no weird residue or greasiness on your clothing. There is very little static if any at all. I have been using this softener for a few months now and could not be happier. This is perfect for sensitive skin! The only downside to this product is the price. I am on a very tight budget so this is slightly pricey for me. Performance This product works very well. Your clothes come out soft and static free. Scent Very mild scent that is refreshing.

I absolutely love the feel of super soft warm clothing straight outcome of a dryer. Downy Ultra Free & Sensitive Liquid Fabric Softener would have to be one of my top picks when it comes to being satisfied with fabric softeners. Whenever I use this product on my laundry I know every single laundry item will come out soft to the touch. I like to use this product most on my sweaters, pajamas, linens and blankets. I am pleased this product is offered in free and sensitive. For a very long time fabric softeners where only available in different scents and none target sensitive skin consumers. The price of this product is reasonable and can be found wherever laundry detergent is sold. I use this product as least 3 to 4 times per week. This is a great product and I recommend it is you suffer from sensitive skin or prefer laundry products that are more mild in scent.

I love Downy's products and use them all the time so I was excited to see that they had added a new Ultra Free and Sensitive variety to their line of quality fabric softeners. This works just as well as their other formulas. It leaves laundry soft and clean but there is never any residue of any sort. Some formulas leave a residue but I have never, ever experienced that with this variety. Everything from towels to sheets to clothes come out soft and fresh smelling but not perfumy. They just smell clean which is great for anyone with allergies. I've also found that I no longer have static problems when taking my laundry out of the dryer. It never clings together and I never get a random sock stuck to a shirt. Everything comes out separately, which is especially nice. This isn't the cheapest alternative on the market, but it is a quality item and I definitely recommend it. It is on sale quite often so I stock up when it is.

Downy Ultra Concentrated Fabric Softener - Free & Sensitive is a dermatologist tested fabric softener that does not contain any perfume or dyes. I use this mainly for my son's work clothes to greatly reduce wrinkles. He does not like his clothes to smell like detergent or perfumes and this product gets the job done without any added scent. I would highly recommend this product for people who do not like to iron and who are sensitive to heavily scented products. It is also a good fabric softener, which is expected, but an added bonus for my needs. Performance I have no complaints and only praise for this product.
