Equate Non-Drowsy Day Time Cold & Flu Multi-Symptom Relief is not the most effective cold and flu medication, but it works better than the geltabs of the same medication because the liquid absorbs into the stomach better and more quickly than the geltabs that have to have the outside lining be dissolved before the medication can start being absorbed into your body. Congestion Relief This medication works somewhat decently when it comes to congestion relief. It does not always clear out my sinuses when it is a severe cold, but it does seem to help a bit when the cold is just a mild one. Chest Congestion Relief This medication does a decent job of relieving chest congestion because it helps relieve nasal congestion, which is the root cause of chest congestion. Relief of Aches & Pains Because this medication has a bit of tylenol in it, it helps to ease the aches and pains come with a cold or the flu. It does not get rid of all of the pain, however, especially when the cold or flu bug is severe and needs a doctor's attention. Cough Suppression Cough suppression is handled a bit better with this medication than with most general cold and flu medications that try to cover all of the symptoms instead of just one or two.

Not only is this a great and effective product but it also comes at a great price! My local drugstore was out of the name brand flu medicine that I would usually take when I am sick so I bought this to see how it would compare. It relieved my sore throat and chest congestion even better than my previous medication! And it was only a fraction of the price! It's a win-win situation! Highly recommend this product.

An amazing medicine if you have cold and cough. But if you take it as often as is recommended the risk is that you get mucus thickens and it becomes difficult to give up medicine becouse you still feel like it is hard to get rid of the mucus.

I get sick only a few times a year, but I am a big baby when I am sick. This is the off-brand of nyquil or dayquil, and it is the product I buy if I can. I always try to buy the off-brand of medicine because if you look at the ingreedence compared to the name brand, they are EXACTLY the same. Plus a pharmcy broke it down for me that sudefed is the decongestent and there is benadryl to knock you out (for the nyquil) if you bought these things seperat they would do the same thing, but this is cheaper and easier in my opinion.  I always be sure to buy the stuff behind the counter because of the new laws stating the good stuff you need to have your license swiped and sign saying you are only using it for its intended purpose.  It is worth the extra hassle to get the good stuff.  The taste is not good, but I can suck it down to think of the bigger picture, being able to breath and sleep easy.
