My mom works for Estee Lauder and was able to get Idealist for me at a discount...it is very expensive and I don't think I could afford to continue using it without her help. I was reluctant to use it at first because I am prone to breakouts and never know what will aggravate my skin. But this did not break me out. I love the way that this cream makes my skin feel. I use it in the morning under my make-up. It makes my skin feel soft and smooth and my makeup goes on so much better after using it. I don't see much change in pore size however. I do not have very large pores to begin with but it does an excellent job of smoothing my skin as it tends to feel rough. The scent of this lotion smells light and nice. My mom no longer works with Estee Lauder and I have only one more full size bottle left. I gues I'll have to decide soon if this lotion is worth the price. However, I'd say if you can afford it give this lotion a try. It will make you look and feel wonderful.

astarted using Estee lauder's Idealist Refinisher so I would not have to exfoliate as much.  I had extreem acne and exfoliators irriated my skin.  This product keeps you skin healthy and prevents dead skin cells.  It helps with my acne because there is not so much dead skin.  My skin is  so much smoother, pores  are smaller, and makes all my other products work even better.   I love Estee lauder's  Idealist Refinisher.    I would Definatly recomend this to anyone.  Its now 15 years later and it still helps my skin stay healthy and my makeup goes on smoother.  It is also good because it hydrates my skin but does not over do it.  Does not cause extra shine or oil.  Does not clog your pores. Its an essential part of my daily routine.  I have told may friends about using this product or anyone strugling with acne because it just helps contorl one reason acne exists,  Dead skin.  I would Bath in it If I could afford to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been using the Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher for 2 months now, and it is not working! My skin on my nose and the two sides of the nose have bigger pore than else where, so I started trying this Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher at the recommendation of the BA from the Estee Lauder counter. I use it in the morning after the cleaser and toner. It does feel good, smooth and silk-like, but I am not seeing my pore getting any smaller than before. They are just the same as before when I was not using anything specially for the pore. Isn't it supposed to reduce the pore size after 4 weeks' use? Some of my friends have the same experience as me, they are not seeing any significant changes on the pore conditions. Oh well, maybe it is not strong enough. And one more thing, you can't put too much of it on. Since if you put too much on, and then you try to put foundation on afterwards, the foundation won't stay well.

I have used Estee Lauder Idealist for years. I have very large pores, and this really does help shrink them and improve the texture of my skin. I tried stopping it for several months to see what happens, and it was VERY noticible.  It really works well for me.

estee lauder idealist refinishing eye serum is a product that can be used on your eye lids.  no other i have seen has been able to say that,  i have real issues with eye creams making my eyes water, this does not, even on my eye lids. it absorbs well, and does not feel greasy, so you can apply your make up right over the top of it. i have seen amazing results in my eye lids since i have been using this product! just being able to wear eye shadow without it looking so crape anymore is more than worth it to me! AND my eyes don't water anymore from the eye creams!the results i have seen from this are super!!!! the refinishing means that it that makes your eye lids sort of exfoliate the dead skin cells so it in turn makes you eye lids appear smoother and firmer.  when you are dealing with aging eyes lids,  to me this is huge!!!!  This product also helps to keep eye shadow and liner in place and go on much smoother. you will not need another make up base for shadow.
