I first tried Estee Lauder mascara when I received a sample of it for buying a few Estee Lauder products. It was a small tube but lasted me for awhile and I was satisfied with it. It was very nice on my eyelashes and did not bother my eyes. It was very easy to apply due to the nice brush it has. You could either use it with a natural look or build it up to a more dramatic eye popping look. I also liked that it did not clump and was very easy to apply to the lower lashes without making a mess. I would like to purchase it again. It also was very long lasting and did not cause smudging or bleeding at the end of the day. Overall, it is better than MANY other mascaras I have tried, and I have tried a LOT. Mascara is one of my favorite makeup steps so I am always one the lookout for what is new and better. I was very impressed with Estee Lauder and will purchase mascara there again in the future.

Estee Lauder Mascara is a mascara without any frills and thrills. It does what it suppose to do which is to coat your eyelashes with color, not smear, not spot your face when you bat your lashes and last all day. This mascara goes on evenly. It does not clump. You can use it up to the very last bit in the tube. It's great for everyday use if you not looking for a goth look or a thick smoky eye look. This should be your staple mascara. The Estee Lauder Mascara cost more than most drug store mascaras. Don't waste your money. Buy and reliable mascara. Buy Estee Lauder. Performance It does everything that it suppose to do. It will last all day and when you check yourself in the mirror though out the day you won't have any crazy surprises. It will still be there look exactly as it looked when you first applied it. Ease of Application The applicator is simple and straight. It's nothing special but it works well. It doesn't help with curling much but it will cover your lashes completely without multiple back to back applications.

When it comes to Estee Lauder products I usually love them, but over time other brands have caught up with them, or even overtaken them. When I first started using Estee Lauder Mascara, I get one free each time I buy my Estee perfume, they were great. I have always had black to show off my eyes. Probably the past 6 mascaras I have received as gifts I couldn't give any of them 5 stars. The latest one I received is Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multriplying Volume Mascara in 01 Extreme Black. This one does have a thicker wand to it, which does help to give more volume. Estee Lauder continue improving your mascaras to keep up with everyone else. Performance Estee Lauder mascaras have been hit and miss over the years. The last one I received was better. Ease of Application Mascaras are easy to use.

Over the years I have had many opportunities to try out a variety of Estee Lauder mascaras in black. From volumizing to lenghtening, I have tried quite a few different styles of mascara from Estee Lauder. In just about every case, I have found that Estee Lauder mascara has been a good solid performer. No flaking or crumbling, and no burning have made Estee Lauder mascara in black a solid choice if I needed a decent mascara. The quality of lashes has been pretty good with no complaints, but not a lot of raves either. Performance Despite Estee Lauder's reputation of being the *old lady* company, their mascaras have been pretty decent performers. Lashes were left either thicker or longer, and sometimes both. I have not had problems with flaking, crumbling, burning, or smearing as a rule. Removal is pretty good using Hard Candy Take It Off or Yes to Blueberries Cleansing Cloths. I have used Estee Lauder mascaras on quite a few clients all with good results. They are solid performers as a rule. Ease of Application Every Estee Lauder mascara I have tried has been pretty easy to apply. The brushes are not crazy or clumsy, and mascara goes on smoothly and evenly without a lot of clumping.

I started using Estee lauder before six years. Actually my husband introduces me to Estee lauder by giving me a gift of an excellent perfume from Estee Lauder and a complete skin care products. I started using Estee Lauder from that time and atlest once a year I buy Estee lauder cosmetics and skin care products. Estee Lauder balck mascare is so nice, easy to carry in purse and so effective. Small but effective. I doesn't leave any clumps behind and its so smooth to apply and it lasts longer so I do not have to go for touch ups at the middle of the party or any other place. It has a very high quality product. It is expenssive but worht using it. I have used Estee Lauder for more than six years and I do not have any complaints for any of their products till now. My skin is sensitive, so I have to be very careful in trying out anything which has a direct skin contact. So, I do not compromise with quality of my cosmetics. I have give Estee Lauder black mascara to my sister and my friends. I did recomment Estee Lauder balck mascara to one of my friend and she did buy it and was very happy to use it. Now it is a part of her cosmetics routine. I am very happy with Estee Lauder black mascara. It is a quality product which comes from a renowned designer house.

I got this product for Christmas this year and was pretty excited because it is an expensive brand.  I have lashes that are very thin, very short and are stick straight.  I liked the mascara applicatior, it is pretty similar to all others.  I also liked that it didn't have a strong smell, sometimes mascaras have a strange odor to them and it makes them unappealing.  What I did notice that I liked was that my lashes held the curl longer after I curled them with my eyelash curler.  Usually they fall and go back straight within the hour but this curl lasted almost all night!  That made me very happy!  What I did not like was that the black is not a strong black.  My lashes are normally a dark brown so with the light black of the mascara you couldn't really tell.  Overall I do recommend Estee Lauder Mascara just be prepared to use a few extra coats for a stronger color.

I love this product!  I got a sample of it once and that is all it took.  I got a full size one and never looked back lol.  It is a little bit pricey but you won't be dissapointed in the quality.  You don't find yourself re-applying it several times a day.

This mascara is a good mascara, but for the quality of it, it's way too expensive! The mascara only seemed average to me, especailly for the price of it. For as expensive as it is I expected it to perform much better.  I found it often was not easily removed, even with eyemake up remover. Since it was difficult to remove it often flaked off my lashes and left black specks under my eyes. That is just not attractive! I also noticed that it did not do a great job actually lengthening my lashes. I found that I've tried other products that delievered much better length. As for the good about it, the mascara did seem to thicken my eyelashes and give them good color. My lashes did not clump together as some mascaras make them, but coated each one individually. It also stayed fresh for a reasonable time before it started to clump or smell off. I do love Estee Lauder products, but I just was not impressed by the mascara, so next time I will probably pass on this.

**I first used Estee Lauder when I needed someone to do my make-up for my wedding.  We originally went to use Lancome,but the lady behind the counter couldn't help us out so we went to the Estee Lauder counter.  I am so happy that we did, I have never met someone so nice and to make you feel comfortable.  I do not normally wear make-up.  I loved the mascara, I am not blessed with long eyelashes, but it made it look like I actually had some.  It goes on easily and it didn't clump at all.  It only took a couple times for each eye and there you go instant eyelashes.  I would recommend this product to people.  The only problem I have with it is sometimes by the end of the day it will run a little bit.  I guess when it isn't water proof that is what you have to expect.  I would recommend people to definitely try it and see what they think.  You can go to the counter first if you want before you spend the money on it and have the lady put it on you so that you can try it out first.**

Over the last several years I have been on a mad hunt to find a mascara that looked good, wasn't messy, didn't clump, didn't give me racoon eyes, gave me length and volume, and was inexpensive.  In most mascaras I found none of these features.  In a few I found some of these features.  Finally, with Estee Lauder Mascara I found all of these features...with the exception of one.  The only one it doesn't meet is price because you do pay quite a bit more for this mascara.  However, I love the consistency of the formula, I love the applicator brush and the spacing of the bristles, and I love how it looks.  The formula doesn't clump up on the wand or on my lashes when I apply it.  It makes my lashes long and thick and is very long lasting.  My only complaint on Estee Lauder Mascara (besides the price) is that sometimes it is difficult to wash off.  Even with eye makeup remover it takes several cotton balls to get it all off.
