This vacuum works, it cleans the carpets fairly well, but it is poorly designed and cheaply made. The attachment for holding different hose attachments broke off and now I have to keep it separate. Also, the rubber around the front that protects walls, furniture, etc. is coming off. Cheaply made, but it does its job. Probably would not recommend.

I Loved this vacuum when I first got it, But the handle book on it, lucky I had insurance on it and got a different Eureka, anf the handle broke on that one too. So I took Duck tape and I'm still using it, But I will never buy another Eureka Bagless or with a bag. They R just cheaply made for the amount of money they charge for one.

The **Eureka 8802AVZ Bagless Upright Vacuum **has done an good job for me but recently I have noticed that it seems to be wearing out. I hav only had this vacuum for about 7 months. My **Eureka 8802AVZ Bagless Upright Vacuum **has started smelling that burnt rubber every time I use it. I spring from the bottom of the head is broken and just allows the latch that holds the head on place to bounce around. The **Eureka 8802AVZ Bagless Upright Vacuum **has great suction and I never feel like my floor needs to be vacuumed again rigt after operating it. I love the long hose and extra hose extenders as well as the crevas tool. I use them all the time. One of the attachments I don;t use often is the pet hair remover, as I don't have a pet. I can see how it would be useful though. The **Eureka 8802AVZ Bagless Upright Vacuum is a good vacuum for the money. **I love value.

I've owned a lime green Eureka Capture for over a year now, and I have to say that it is not only the worst vacum cleaner that I've ever owned, but I have not ever owned any type of product that had more problems completing the task that it was designed for. Here are the issues: - It kicks dirt back at your feet, it doesn't actually clean dirt it just moves it around the house. - If you take the hose off to add attachments, the power sweeper keeps running and it throws dirt in your face, into the air and all over the house. - It clogs - constantly. Always requires at least a screwdriver to remove the hose and get the thing sucking again. Even when it is clear the vacum does a poor job of picking up dirt. - Emtying the dirt bucket can't be done inside as it is a very dirty job. Cleaning the machine drops dust all ove the machine itself, and once re-assembled the unit does not even have enough power to clean itself up. Mine has all the parts in all the right places and I've cleaned all of the filters. This is just a very poorly designed product - steer far away from this one unless you are just looking to move dirt around while waisting 12 Amps of electricity.
