Love this vacuum, best in a long time, great for tall people
Hubby brought this home for me as a little present i guess-we had previously had a bissel that i thought was just great-and this one kicks that ones butt! After the bissel died (okay, i accidentally threw out a peice when i was cleaning it), we were relying on an old vacuum that barely picked up anything. Brought this baby in, put it together and wow! we were grossed out how much came up outta the carpet with this thing! SOO much dirt and fuzz and etc..came up. I love the telescoping handle, we are both tall people, and always get that backache after vacuuming because you have to be hunched over-this has a little button where you can adjust it to your personal taste. I like the dirt cup and the filter assembly can all be removed and washed with soap and water, dried and returned to the vacuum as new! weve been amazed at how much very fine dust accumulates inside. Eeesh. I also must mention that the vacuum almost moves itself across the floor, like a self propelled lawnmower. The only minor flaws have to do with the placement of the hose in the back. It is wound around in a circle across the backside of the vacuum, coming out of the middle, where it attaches to the vacuum. There is a small plastic :"sleeve" attatched to the vacuum that holds it in place, and prevents you from removing the hose entirely fro mthe vacuum. the sleeve is at the bottom of the vacuum. MEaning youve lost half of the hose right there because its gotta go from the middle of the vacuum, to the bottom,Its very silly. So the hose isnt very long at all, and its awkward sometimes to use the hose. the hose has very very good suction, and as long as you keep the dirt cup empty and clean, you will always have great suction with this vacuum, there can be no "loss of suction" if the filter can be washed like that.
