This is a good little vacuum for the price. We have hardwood floors, but we have big area rugs in all of our rooms. It does a great job and has lasted quite a while. It has hose attachments so you can get the little cobwebs up near the ceiling or get the dust off of your baseboards. It is pretty lightweight. I thought I would love having a bagless vacuum, but it can be kind of annoying. Whenever I dump the canister, dust that I just swept up goes everywhere. It seems like a bag would keep all of that stuff contained better. Plus the filter gets caked with dirt/dust and has to be cleaned out or replaced. Overall I am happy with this vacuum for what we use it on.

I have a small child so messes are very common in our house. I was surprised at how well this worked for us, especially considering how much better the price was over other models I was considering. It's not too heavy so I don't mind dragging it out just to clean little messes. It's durable and easy to manuever. I like the bagless feature, and the ability to clean the filter as opposed to having to replace it super frequently. The only downside I've noticed as of yet it a hair problem. If you've got a lot of long thick hair you constantly vacuum up, make sure and check the roller underneath the vacuum frequently, ours started to overheat until my husband realized what the problem was, and now that we check that every so often it's been perfectly fine. I've used a dyson before and I honestly would choose this over a dyson, because the quality is just as good, slightly less maneuverability, but the price and performance make up for it.

I really love my Eureka Power Plus Bagless Vacuum. It has great suction,can be used on carpeting or tile,without having to do so much as even flip a switch. It is light and easy to move around.Comes with tool attachments for easy cleaning of upholstery,walls,blinds. You name it and this will clean it.I love the bagless idea. I can truly vacuum with a clean vacuum every time.There are no stale,musty odors that you have with a bag vacuum.And the canister is so easy to clean as well. I love to see how much I'm getting out of my carpets.Well worth the money.

Eureka power plus bagless vacuum is a wonderful sweeper to have. Love the attachments. It is easy to use. Needs no bags which is great. Better than a canister sweeper. It is also lighter than a canister sweeper. A very modern sweeper. Not like your grandmothers sweeper

I really love this vaccuum! I actually got it used and still love it! IT sucks way better than my old vaccuum and I love that it is bagless so I dont have to spend money on those annoying things and change them. The container is very easy to take off the vaccuum and empty. All I do is press one spot to disconnect it from the vaccuum and another button near the bottom to empty it into the trash can. I really like that it empties from the bottom instead of the top of the canister, I think it is cleaner that way. The filter is easy to take out and clean as well, and I find I dont have to do that as often as I did with my other vaccuum. The cord length is good also, my last bagless had a very short cord and I couldnt make it from one side of the room to the other without having to change to a different outlet. I dont have that problem with this vaccuum. I think the suction is great, a lot better than what I had before. I have a shag carpet area rug in the living room and my old vaccuum did not have enough power to get dirt and everything from down deep in the carpet. This vaccuum works wonders and gets the job done. And it is a big job seeing as I have 3 kids and a dog. It gets the dog hair up great. And it is easy to push around, when it is on and off. I go from room to room with ease. All in all I think this is a great vaccuum to have and I would reccomend this to everyone who is looking for a new vaccuum. I see it lasting a long time, and who knows how long it was used before I even got it! So easy to use and take care of. Very duarble and easy to take care of. I will use it until it no longer works, and will probably buy the same thing again when the time comes

I scratched the top of the vacuum the first time i used it and didnt want to return it. It barley works at all. I live in an apartment with thin carpet and tile in the kitchen and bathroom. I clean the filter before each use and there is no suction.i have to use the hose for the area rugs which means i have to vacuum on my hands and knees. Ease of Maintenance Easy enough to clean! Suction Performance Should say on the box that the low level for carpet means a thick carpet!!

This vacuum will pick up anything from the smallest crumb to a marble, so it does the job a vacuum should do and you don't have to worry about emptying a bag. I am not happy with the hose length, it is to short and I've had to replace mine twice as it has broken. But the overall vacuum itself is good. Maneuverability I love the option of going under tables and it actually fits under the tables and it turns corners well and fits under my cabinets as well, so I like that it does this. Ease of Maintenance I have 3 dogs and a daughter that sits in front of her mirror combing and straightening her very long hair, so we have a lot of hair in our house. It's easy to get the long hair out of the roller on the bottom with just a simple cut of the scissors. Suction Performance I love the suction, it never loses that suction power, love this aspect of the vacuum. Versatility Not very versatile if you need to reach somewhere and the hose isn't long enough, so you know your stretching it behind what it should do. I don't have high ceilings and I can't even reach my ceiling fan with this vacuum. Design I really like the lightweight design and the way it moves around the room. Durability Again, the hose is not durable because it doesn't reach so it ends up breaking.

I have used three other Vacuums before buying Eureka and out of all the four, I can rate Eureka Maxima VAcuum (Bagless) as 'the' best vaccum. Manuvering with this vacuum is a breeze. It is not too bulky. It is a bagless vacuum so no more hassles with changing bags. Operation is simple and straight -forward. The previous vacuum did not last long. For a few months, the suction was good. But after a while it hardly took any dirt from the carpet. When I switched to Eureka, I was very happy as I no longer have to vacuum the same spot over and over again. I have been using it for more than a year without any problems. Our house is a party-central for all football and cricket matches. And now I have no worries about keeping the carpet clean as I have Eureka Maxima handy :)

Perhaps I got a lemon, i'm not sure but for the money I spent on this vacuum cleaner, I would really hope that it would do a better job of picking up dirt. The filter is clogged so often that I had to dump it after every room. The vacuum is noisy, but i've got dogs so i'm used to noise. I was just really saddened with the quality. I was hoping for a light weight sucker without a huge price tag. My dogs shed, but i sweep before I vacuum so I know it can't be that which causes the clogging of the filter. Positives are that it is light weight, inexpensive and it's a decent brand. I really wanted more from this vacuum but realize it's not a dyson. I returned it to the store and picked up another brand (i'll review that one shortly) I would not recommend this.

I like the fact that the Maxima is bagless. The container that holds the dirt is easy to take off the machine and clean. The filter is also easy to remove. It takes a while to clean it when you are rinsing it, because the dirt is down in all the crevices, but it has already lasted me over a year for one filter. The price that I bought the vacuum for was also good. One con for me is that the hose goes into the reservoir right where the filter is. This causes pet hair to attach to the filter rather than falling to the bottom of the reservoir. This quickly causes the hair to begin backing up and clogging the hose. Because of this, I have to stop a couple of times during vacuuming to detach the hair so that the hose doesn't get clogged up. My dog does shed a lot, so perhaps I should have gone with one of the vacuums that is specifically for pets. I didn't consider that prior to purchasing. I also do not like how bulky the hose it. It doesn't fold flat up against the vacuum, it kindof sticks out on the side and bumps into things. The attachments do not attach to their places snugly, and were always falling off, so I stored them somewhere else. One other thing I don't like is that the hose connects to the bottom of the vacuum near the edge of the maching. For some reason, I have cause the hose on things because of its near proximity to the edge and it has come out while vacuuming. The suction is not tremendous. It's fairly lightweight and I haven't noticed it to be overly noisy.
