Great little vacuum!

The Eureka Quick 2 in 1 Stick and Hand Vac is excellent! You can really get a lot of cleaning done with this product from a small area to a large area. It is wonderful that is picks up so much and is so very lightweight. I can't really push a heavier fill size vacuum anymore because of back problems so this one is really good for me. The price is very reasonable too. You can't ask for a better vacuum and price. Maneuverability It is so easy to maneuver and push around. It is so light and not heavy at all. Ease of Maintenance It is quite easy to maintain and keep clean. You can just wipe it off when it gets dust on it. Suction Performance The suction performance is fantastic! it really does have a lot of power for a small vacuum. Versatility It is very versatile. You can clean a whole area of carpet or just do quick spot clean ups too for crumbs or small things. Design I love the design and modern look of this product. It looks fabulous! Durability So far it seems to be very durable and as long as you take care of it, it should be fine.

Small and Tough

This was a great purchase at a very affordable price. After moving into an apartment with carpet floors and wood panel for the kitchen, we knew that we needed a solid vacuum cleaner that would clean the floors, but save on electricity usage. After shopping around and doing some research, we decided to go with the Eureka Quick Up 2- in- 1 Stick and Hand Vac. The battery needs to be charged for 24 hours before the first use. Unlike most cordless vacuum cleaners, this cordless has great suction on the carpet and does a wonderful job on the kitchen floor. It can also be used as a hand vacuum to clean the blinds, sofa, dining room chairs, car upholstery, and so much more. However, over a period of time after use, even after fully charging the battery, it will only last for about one small room and a hallway. Overall, this is a great vacuum for small jobs and easy pick ups. Maneuverability Very flexible and easy to move around. Ease of Maintenance The detachable filter is easy to clean out for next use.

Nice little vacuum

I bought this little vacuum about two months ago. I was just tired of dragging out the heavy vacuum every time we walk into the house! It seems like that is all it takes to make a mess in our tv room!. This little really does the trick. It will never replace my big vacuum cleaner. Don't buy it expecting it to do that. It is great for little touch ups. It works great on my tile floor in the kitchen, and works okay in my carpeted rooms. Again, it is good for touch ups, but won't replace your vacuum cleaner. Maneuverability This is where this machine shines. It can get anywhere. It is a stick vac and you can convert it to a hand vac. It is cordless. You can basically get to or under any place in your house. Ease of Maintenance Another thing I love about this machine is the easy to empty cup. It takes me about a minute to empty it. Suction Performance The suction is not great, but will do for touch up jobs. Versatility This can be a stick vacuum, or a hand vac. Very versatile. Added bonus is that it is cordless! Durability I think this little machine might last a year. For the price, I don't mind buying a new one every year.

Unfortunately the battery sucks just as much as the vacuum.

I loved this vacuum at first, it gets up every last bit of pet hair and the battery held enough charge to vacuum the entire house. Unfortunately the battery loses the ability to hold a charge after just a year of use, making the vacuum worthless. Maneuverability The head on the vacuum doesn't swivel like some larger or more expensive models but I don't find this to be a major drawback. This vacuum isn't meant to replace a full size upright or canister vac, so it doesn't need to get into every nook and cranny. Ease of Maintenance The dust cup on this vacuum is easy to remove and dump. The filter is a little fussy getting in and out, you kind of have to force it in. Once it's out, it's easy to clean though, you just rinse it in the sink and set it aside to dry. The roller bar is a bit more difficult, especially if you have pets. The pet hair gets caught up in the roller bar and brush and has to be picked out after every use. The most annoying part about cleaning is the little wheels on the bottom of the head. They always get hair stuck in them and won't roll until you use a toothpick to pick them out, Suction Performance This vacuum has great suction for a cordless hand vac. It gets up every last bit of pet hair. Versatility This vacuum is more appropriate for daily clean ups. It has no attachments so it would not be sufficient for weekly deep cleaning. Design The vacuum isn't pretty, but it gets the job done. Durability The battery lasted forever, until I had it for about a year, and now it only holds enough charge to last 2 or 3 minutes. A new battery costs as much as a whole new machine.

Good for small cleaning jobs

I received an Eureka Quick up vacuum for a Christmas present from the girl I babysit for. We only have carpet in our living room so I don't need a big vacuum. The carpet in our living room is very old. While this is not very big, it does a good job of vacuuming the carpet. It is light weight and very easy to clean up since the little cup just pulls out to dump, the only thing is the filter is n the cup and you have to remove it and dirt goes everywhere. You have to make sure you are holding it over the trash can when you take the filter out to dump the cup or you will end up with dirt everywhere. The cup is a little hard to get back onto the vacuum also. The handle is a little hard to get loose if you want to use the vacuum handleless. It does have a hole in the handle so you can hang it up out of the way. The cord is a little short. All in all, it does okay for me with just one room to vacuum. Maneuverability It is very light weight and easy to handle. Ease of Maintenance the cup is a little difficult since the filter is in the cup and it is a little hard to get back on Suction Performance seems to have good suction Versatility handle is a little hard to get off Durability I have only had it for a month so I don't know about the durability

Handy and quick

This was perfect for our small 1 bedroom cramped city apartment. We have wooden floors and no carpet. So this is just perfect for us. I tis very small and so does not take up a lot of space. I can easily stow it in a closet. I have a todler who always leaves behind a trail of food. So this one is easily to set up, suck, clean and store. I do wish it came with a bigger wire because I always find myself having to change the plug point. It sis easy to maneuver and has good suction. It is bagless , but still ceaning is quick and easy. It has a button which you can press and pour the dirt out.It is very light weight so my toddler can also use it to help me vacuum the home. And it is pretty durable too, because my toddler drops it oftenand it has taken it all pretty well

No suction at all

I bought the Eureka Quick-UP Bagless Stick Vacuum with Motorized Brush Roll, 169H, Red and I really had high hopes for the vacuum but the thing had no suction. I used the stick vac twice and after both I noticed crumbs still on the floor. I took a regular broom over the floor and it cleaned 90% better than this stick vac. The cord is also too short. It was long enough to do a small bathroom but that was about it. I took it back to the store and am looking for a different brand. I really like Eureka vacuums but this is junk. Maneuverability Very light weight. Ease of Maintenance The dirt cup was hard to remove/put back on and the filter was dirty even though the vac didn't clean. Suction Performance Horrible. Wouldn't even suck up lint off of a tile floor. Versatility Took the vac back to the store. Terrible design. Design Terrible, no suction. Cord is way too short. Durability Took it back, is not a good product.

Great for quick cleaning, until it scratched the floor

We got the Eureka 2-in-1 stick vacuum to deal with cleaning up stray cat litter (multiple cat household here) and general quick clean-ups around the house on hard floors without having to string out the electrical cord and unplug/replug every two minutes. The battery was as good as I would expect, probably won't last the whole house but you should get at least 10-15 on a charge. It picked up pretty well too. The problem was that the wheels of the vacuum got out of alignment and started scratching the vinyl and laminate floors. So for now it's retired, miss the convenience though. Maneuverability doesn't swivel but for the price I can't complain Ease of Maintenance the wheels started scratching the floor, no way to fix??? Suction Performance it's not a Shark but for a quick pick-up it's all right. Versatility best on hard floors but can use on carpet in a pinch. Design I like the colors Durability scratching my floor!!! not durable at all.

Summarize this product in one sentence.

Loved the vac for tile floors and once over on carpet, but they stop charging up after about a year. I hated to toss out working vacs that would no longer take a charge. I had two of them and now switched to Eureka and hope I have better luck with it. Durability I bought two of these over the past years, one of which came with two batteries, but the batteries just don't last. I don't know if it is the charger or the batteries themselves. I liked the unit but was tired of buying a new one every year or two. I think they should be more durable. It was disappointing throwing away a vacuum cleaner I liked and that worked but could no longer be charged.

Eureka! I finally found a stick vac that works!

Before buying the Eureka Quick Up 2-in-1, I had owned a Hoover stick vac, a Bissel stick vac and a light weight Kenmore. The Bissel didn't have enough suction to do the job, the Hoover cracked almost immedietly and totally broke within months and the Kenmore didn't get under furniture or in corners. I needed a light weight vacuum for hard wood floors and some area rugs. With shedding dogs and busy kids, I tend to vacuum the main areas (living room/kitchen) everyday. Maneuverability I really like this Eureka Quick Up. First off, it is very light so even my 11 year old has no problem using it. There is a bumper all the way around that protects both the vacuum itself and the furniture. Again, another bonus when you have kids helping with the vacuuming. I am able to get under my furniture by laying the vacuum almost flat. I don't mind that as it is much easier than moving the furniture. Ease of Maintenance So far, I find the clean up easy. The filter is large and sturdy. I empty it outside as it gets very dusty. Then I wipe the cup out with a damp paper towel. The filter itself is hand washable. Suction Performance The suction is great! It sucks up all the pet hair and coffee grinds, toast crumbs, sand, dry dirt, etc. My area carpets are oriental in style and the brush does a great job cleaning up the hair and crumbs. Versatility Really love that I can easily pop off the handle and do the stairs and the couches and chairs! No need to have a separate hand vacuum. Design The design is just fine. The only thing I would change is the cord length. I find it too short. Not a huge issue as I have plenty of outlets, but still a bother. Also the controls are down low on the unit, so be prepared to bend down. Durability Obviuosly this is made cheaply as reflected in the price. But I think it is comparable to other stick vacs. You need to treat it like the cheap plastic it is and it should be fine.
