When it became time for my son to switch up to a different seat after his 5 point harness i did alot of research. Eventually we landed on a high back booster and then eventually do just a booster when ready. When we found this specific seat we knew it was the one. It was super easy and light to put it in the car. Plus it was super easy to put together when it got here. My son says it is super comfy and loves sitting like a big boy. And keeps my piece of mind knowing he is safe.

I bought this car seat for my four-year-old and he loves it, as do I. With the cup holders, it is a bit wide, but the cup holders can be removed so that it fits comfortably in the backseat of my car with two other harness carseats. Ease of Installation The only installation I had to do on this booster was putting it in the car. The seatbelt goes through a small hole over my son's shoulder and buckles just like an adult. It is the easiest car seat/ booster I have ever used for my kids. Child's Comfort The car seat is padded nicely, but if my son falls asleep in this booster, it can put a strain on his neck. However, to be fair, for a four-year-old, I think this would be a problem for all boosters. Support and Safety This booster holds my son upright well, and I feel that it is very safe. I did some research on the booster and it scores well for safety ratings. Ease of Use This is one of the easiest boosters I have used. There is nothing hard about it and it can be transferred from car to car within seconds. Durability I have owned this seat for about a year and it has held up perfectly so far.

Our oldest recently graduated to this seat. I have been a big fan of Graco seats, but found this seat for a good price. It has wonderful safety reviews and made for an excellent value. I love how easy it was to assemble. I also like that, when the time comes, it will be simple to convert to a standard booster seat. My son is very large for his age so this seat was a great change of pace for him. He was always so compressed in convertible car seats; this seemed roomy for him. It's also very secure and still offers that level of comfort for me knowing that he has a safe seat. I liked how easy this was to install. After a few days I went back to the store and snagged a second, identical, seat for our second vehicle. I know that it was a good decision. Between two vehicles, the ability to convert it when the time comes and another large child working his way up through the car seat ranks, these seats will be used! My son loved the car seat so much that he told everyone he encountered about his "Big Kid Seat", which made the purchase even more satisfying.

The Evenflo Big Kid LX Booster Car Seat works for children ages 5 and up. They have to be x amount of pounds and x inches tall, and the strap has to go across their chest, not their neck, but this car seat is for the 5 to 9 year old in your life. This one was used by my first child. She loves the cup holders and snack sections on each side as she tends to use them to store her toys instead of snacks. And she loves the big Kid feeling she gets from riding without the back of it now that she is 8 years old and tall enough. And I love the fact that her Evenflo Big Kid LX Booster Car Seat keeps her safe and in her seat. Not once has she jerked forward or jarred sideways when the car had to stop suddenly, because the Evenflo Big Kid LX Booster Car Seat allows for the belt to be adjusted properly over her, to keep her in place. And even when it is just a backless booster as the last stage of this becomes, it still is designed to keep them in their seats with the lap belt stuck through it as it is supposed to be. It raises them up just high enough that the lap belt portion of the Evenflo Big Kid LX Booster Car Seat can fit snugly at their waist like it is supposed to and straps in front of the base arm rests, to keep the seat base in place and to keep the child riding in it safe and sound. And best of all, once they reach 4ft 9 in, they can sit in just the Booster piece without the need for the backing, and this car seat allows it to come apart like that, so they can have just the booster at that point. My 8 year old is sitting in just the booster part now, as mentioned earlier, and has been for about a year now. So has her little sister, in the smaller Cosco car seat she has. It is so easy to install. All you need to do is pass the seat belt strap through the loop and then pull it down over their shoulder when it is in backed booster mode, and make sure the lap belt is across their lap. And the booster portion is great for plane rides, too as they just need to carry it with them and sit on it, strapped in. But the backing part isn't too good for planes as there is no shoulder strap to hold them in with. It's so simple to switch between cars, too. Just take the strap out of the loop and remove the car seat and put it in a new one. Car seats don't come much easier or safer than the Evenflo Big Kid LX Booster Car Seat.

I have nothing but great things to say about this car seat. First of all, it's two seats in one! You can use it as is for younger children. When they get older, you can remove the back of the car seat, and it is a booster seat. It's very easy to install because there is really no installation required. You just sit it in the car, and you use the shoulder belt to buckle the kid in. The cover is easily removable and is always safe for the washing machine. It says not to dry it, but I have put it in my dryer a few times, and it has always been fine. I has a cup holder on each side which is great. The cup holders snap on and off, so if you don't have room in your car for them, you can easily remove them. There are little arm rests for the child that can go up or down also. I read reviews about this seat before buying it, and it has great safety reviews. I highly recommend this product for children ages three to six.

My husband loves that the back is on this one. I like that is comes off! Two ways to use and both are great! In the truck my son's head is near the back glass and the back of this seat is high enough that it prevents his head from accidentally hitting the glass! It has the loops by the head for the seat belt to loop into! Both sides so you can put anywhere in any vehicle! Same with the cup holders on both sides. Although we seem to use both at the same time a lot! Either with snacks and drinks or what ever toys are taking a ride in them! The back comes off easily and turns into a booster seat. Which is also easy to use! The covers come off easily for cleaning and go right back on easily! Having a boy this is a big plus!! My son can easily get in and out all alone. This seat is easy to move from one vehicle to the other. Nothing to undo except the seat belts looped in the top. Unless you have the back off then just remove and put in which ever car you need it in! Ease of Installation In and out, if you have the back on then all you have to do is undo the seat belt from the top loop. Child's Comfort Son has no complaints with it either with the top or bottom. Durability Has stood up to two kids!

We have been using the Evenflo Big Kid Booster Seat for about six months and have been very happy with it. The seat belt holder at the shoulder keeps the cross belt positioned correctly across our daughter's body, and away from her neck. The two cup holders are fairly easy to pull out and push in. It's nice that they don't have to be sticking out all of the time. We love the convenience of these cup holders, particularly during long road trips. The seat is lightweight and easy to move between vehicles. We frequently switch this booster seat between two vehicles with no problems. The seat is comfortable for our daughter. The head rests to either side of her head are a nice additional feature, both for her head safety and to provide a nice resting place during longer drives. Overall, we are pleased with this product We will continue using this seat as long as it fits out daughter.

The Evenflo BigKid booster is a great value for the price. It is really inexpensive for the use you will get out of it. I bought this booster seat because anytime I would take my daughter on trips, not even long trips just any trip, she would generally fall asleep. I would look back and see her neck cocked over to the side fast asleep in her no back booster seat. It would look so uncomfortable for her I decided to find a solution. I went to a couple of different stores and compared prices and features. The BigKid seat by far was the best value. The padded side panels up by the head are great for my daughter to rest her head on while on long drives. The padding could be a little thicker but overall I love it. The design is great and the cup holders are very convenient and my daughter loves to hide treasures in the bigger compartment above the cup holder. My daughter loves the seat as much as I do. It is comfortable to her and she thinks it is so pretty. I would definitely buy another one of these.

We purcahsed the Evenflo booster seat after our car was totaled in a accident. Since our car was hit from the side, we wanted a car buster seat the had head support and lots of padding.  This car seat has both. This seat has a seat beat adjustment. Therefore, as your child grows, you can remove the back. with children, you may find it difficult to keep our child seats clean. This booster seat is easy to clear. One option my son likes in the night light. He can eat is happy meal at night without turning on the inside mini-van light. Another option my son likes is two large cup holders with areas for your snacks. My son can place his drink in one and his happy meal french files and toy in the other. Pros Head-rest with lost of padding. Removable back (car seat adjust to your growing child needs) Two large cup holders with areas for your snacks. Light and easy to transport.

This booster seat is great for a family on a budget. It has a simple design and easy functionality. It has cupholders on either side that work great, though can be hard for my son to pull out, so I have to pull them out for him. The seat adjusts for height and positions the belt well on my son. The only drawback I find is that there is barely any cushion to the seat, and that when my son falls asleep he never can seem to keep his head comfortably against the side of the seat, and it always falls over and he gets that "broken neck" look. Another booster seat we bought for our other car seems to let him keep his head up easier (it is also an Evenflo). The other drawback is that it does not "fit" well on the seat of one of our cars, although that is more the car than the seat itself. Other than that, this seat is a great choice for the value minded, is stylish looking and functions well for keeping my son safe.
