We bought the Evenflo Chase booster seat as my son has just outgrown his current evenflo convertible carseat.  I was greatly dismayed when I got home and got it all out of the packaging to notice that it had the strap to loosen and tighten the fit of the straps with the buckle adjuster right at the child's chest on the right hand side.  We tried one of these in my mother-in-law's car and my son hated it...the buckle wouldn't tighten to get a tight fit and was a hassle when we were trying to get him to have a safe and tight fit in the booster seat.  The buckle actually poked him in the base o his neck.  The current seat we have has an adjustable button at the base of the carseat that you just have to push in the button and pull the straps near the child's chest, and it loosens.  If you want to tighten the straps, you just pull on the strap at the base of the carseat and you are able to ratchet it to be tight on the child.  needless to say, we returned the carseat before even installing it.

I purchased this car seat approximately a year ago for my oldest child. He is now three and a half years old and it works great for him. We looked at several car seats including more expensive ones and decided that this less expensive one was more cost effective without giving up quality and safety. It has a safe five point harness that keeps him secure. The material has been very durable considering the multiple washes in my washing machine that the cover has experienced. The seat isn't overly wide like so many of the car seats out today. It is much slimmer than his last seat which  was from the same manufacturer. The price is great too. I only have one complaint about this seat. There is a bar that runs behind the cover where the child's back would meet the seat. This is probably to ensure proper safety. However occasionally my son will complain that it hurts his back because it juts out a little bit.

I bought this Evenflo Chase DLX Booster Car Seat - Brown Nightspots for my son few months before This carseat meets the US and Canadian standards and passed the crash tests conducted by different research companies. I would recommend this car seat as its safe and also comfortable.This has many additional attachments like removable cupholder, snacks tray, arm rest with soft padding and additional body padding for comfort. My son 1 year old and he likes this. It has great view outside the window and seat height is appropriate(They too can enjoy the nature). This is good for everyday use. Weight limit is 100 lbs.This comes in different colors and designs, so you can choose one that matches with you car. The paddings are machine washable. Be cautious while buckling near the thigh, otherwise you may pinch his/her thigh . cons the belt adjuster, but its easier if you get used to it Booster seat is not detachable. Should take the whole car seat if we want to use it on a rental car for vacation even for big kid.

This is my second chair for my car the first was moved to my husbands car. I found that I liked this one more and that it seems very comfortable for my daughter. I wish the straps moved a little easier but I guess you cant have everything. She is onlytwo so i haven't had to move the straps up to much so I dont know about the straps not going higher. It is alittle hard to move the seat to another car because it is a bit heavy.

This seat comes with a good safety rating, and a reasonable price.I wanted a 5 pt harness seat for my 3 year old that would last 1-2 years for her to grow in. She's a petite child and this seat is getting to be too small at 4 years old. The highest strap slots are now at her shoulders, which means she is at the height limit now. The strap adjuster is on the child's right strap, just below the chest clip. While that concept is great for keeping the chest clip in proper placement, it really should be 1-2 inches lower, as it restricts the clip movement too much, leaving it closer to the neck than I'd like. It comes with comfortable armrests, however I was not able to get them to snap on and stay put-one bump and they'd pop off. All in all, this seat is great for a small to average sized 3-4 year old, but not a good fit for a larger/older child.

This Booster Car Seat is very well priced. I find that some Car Seats or Booster Chairs are very expensive or overpriced when they bring the same amount of protection or comfort to your child. They offer the same things, the only difference is the brand. Brand is what sells i've noticed. So don't be fooled when you find same looking Booster chairs that offer same things, but one is more expensive than the other. Chance is, the cheaper one does exactly the same one as the more expensive one. Now with that in mind, i will move on to explain that i love this Booster chair. I use to own a more expensive one for my child that i will not name. Well, that Booster chair was horrible. I found myself mad at it so many times. I gave up on that one and proceeded to buying another one. I came upon "Evenflo Chase Combination Booster Car Seat". I can't explain how good this chair is. It fits my child well. It has lasted him pretty decent amount of time now. It's very comfortable and easy to install. I do have to say that the harness straps can give you a bit of trouble but all ina all, this Booster Chair is perfect for my child.

I bought this car seat due to my son was tired of sitting backwards and not being able to see where we were going and not being able to see mommy. My son loves this car seat, it makes him feel like a big boy and  now he can see where we are going. I love this car seat because it holds my "precious cargo" in his place without the fear of him going flying. I loved this so much and told my husband about it he bought one for his car and love it just the same.

This is a very inexpensive car seat and it shows.  The seat has almost no cushioning and the straps can be very difficult to adjust.  That being said, it is a safe seat (when installed correctly, of course) for a larger toddler.  The cup/snack holder is very handy although it can fall off at times.  I would not, however, recommend this for a shorter child.  The chest clip is seated pretty high on the shoulder straps and if you put a smaller child in then the chest clip would be right up under his/her chin.  It also looks pretty uncomortable for your car sleepers (the ones that zonk out the minute the car starts moving) because it is very upright/vertical.  I would recommend this as a spare seat, maybe in a second car.  My child isn't large enough yet to use this with the seatbelt (as a belt positioning booster) although that is an option that further increases the value by extending the amount of time it can be used by the child.

We were using this seat for our son when we were involved in a really bad car accident (the car flipped several times down the hill of an on ramp).  I really think this seat played a major role in keeping him safe.  He was sleeping at the time of the accident and this seats restraints kept him more upright than any other seat we have ever used.  Thankfully we all walked away from the accident basically unhurt.  When I first got this seat I was unsure of it because I did not ever use an Evenflo seat and now thats the only brand we will ever use.  Evenflo carseats are made with great detail and are very sturdy.  I love the features of this seat (easy to adjust the straps, the weight limits, the height limits and the cup holder for my little guy. ).  This seat is well worth the money and I would highly recommend this to anyone with young children.  I recently received another one of these seats as a gift and it was the best thing I have ever received to keep my little ones safe.
