This is a very safe car seat for little ones. However , this brand chose to make their straps configured where when you pull the tightening strap, the straps tighten toward the feet rather than above the shoulders. This is annoying because you constantly have to adjust the chest clip: other brands are more user friendly

I've used many car seats with my step-children and now my daughter. This evenflo car seat seems to be more comfortable than the other car seats I've used. Usually the girls try to fight to get out of them but not with the symphony lx all in one. My baby girl loves this seat and usually sleeps better in it than in her own bed. The seat it fairly bulky and we can hardly get it in the car with the other 2 seats but I personally see it as a plus because it makes me feel my daughter is safer than in a smaller not so sturdy seat. I absolutely love the ratchet strap tightener because I know that she is in the seat as tight as possible and isn't going anywhere. With other seats I was always worried if I pulled them tight enough and secured properly.

This is the carseat used in our main vehicle. We transitioned from an infant seat to this when the baby outgrew the weight requirement. It is great that it rear faces. Keeping our baby safe even longer. Very easy to install. Isnt very heavy so it's easy to move and swap vehicles if need be.

We love this carseat. Easy to install with the click tight aspect for the latch system. It is a bigger carseat so might not be the best choice for someone with a smaller car but it fit in our Land Rover and Ram truck with no issues.

This car seat was the one we moved our daughter to after she exceeded the 22lb weight limit for her infant car seat, when she was 8 months old. It works facing forward or backward, so we were able to keep her rear-facing. It does attach more securely forward-facing though, since the latch system can only be used for forward-facing car seats. The only downside is that we did find out that the styrofoam inside the bottom of the seat (where baby's legs are) can be a bit weak, as our daughter broke a chunk of it off by sliding from the seat onto the floor. It was easy to put back together and replace the cover. It doesn't appear to be an integral part of the carseat, but it's a bit annoying that it broke so easily. Ease of Installation Very easy! Just latch the latches, then lean on it to let the straps ratchet down to the car seat. Really secure. Child's Comfort My daughter loves this seat. She snoozes in it very easily. Durability Again, a chunk of the styrofoam inside DID break off from the weight of a 2-year-old sliding out of it. I think it's a great carseat, but the durability factor is definitely one of it's weakest points.
