My husband and I purchased this Evenflo Triumph car seat when my son became too large for his infant car seat. He had already exceeded the weight and height requirements and was over 1 year old, so we set out to shop for a new car seat. Toys R' Us had this Evenflo car seat on sale and we were able to get an additional discount with their trade-in program. It was a very reasonable price for a good car seat that had decent reviews. The color scheme goes perfectly with the interior of our vehicle, and it has a standard style padding system for my son's comfort. When you need to remove the padding portions behind the head, the seat, and even the entire cloth cover itself, it is very easy to remove and toss in the washing machine on delicate cycle. The 5-point harness is advertised as being a great feature, and I think it is handy but nothing spectacular. I find that occasionally the straps will get twisted between the 2 areas that clasp together. It's very easy to fix the straps when this happens, so it does not detract from the product value in my opinion. Our cup holder on the left side has broken but is still functional. The cup holder will still flip open and closed, but the inner circular piece which holds the drink is broken at one side. It is also fairly difficult to keep clean. These are really the only negative aspects of the car seat and are not at all reasons to decide against purchasing this car seat. If you are looking for a car seat that is reasonably priced and holds a large toddler, this Evenflo Triumph car seat is a wise choice.

I have been using the Evenflo Triumph 65 Convertible Car Seat for about a year now with my niece and it has been more than adequate. I was very pleased with how easy it was to install this seat. All I had to do was pull the seat belt through the rear opening and lock it in place for a secure seat, but once I connect the tether strap to the headrest it becomes a rock. Just doing these simple tasks practically make this car seat unmovable from its original spot. When securing my niece into the seat I found the five buckle harness to be extremely secure, but noticed that it was a bit too snug with layers of clothing even with adjustments. When I was placing my niece in this seat with her snow suit on I found it to be difficult to reach the center female locking receptor. I was only able to lock the 3 of the 5 buckles, which did an excellent job of keeping her in place, but I wish I was able to provide the full level of safety while wearing extra layers. Once in the harness she can't undo the latches and even I find it hard to unlock them most times. I would recommend the Evenflo Triumph 65 Convertible Car Seat because it is extremely secure, doesn't move when installed, and doesn't cost a lot.

The product comes with a latch system which protects the baby from falling and it has a removable neck and head cushion which helps me to make my baby relax when he is feeling sleepy and I just take the cushions off and make his head rest on the seat. The product comes with a buckle pocket which helps me to make any adjustments while my baby is on the car seat, infinite slide hardness, tension right adjusters as well as a cup holder wherein I can keep the milk bottle or other drinks easily without any fear of the drink spilling down and causing any wetness on the seat. I wipe the seat and the pillows regularly and it's a bit tough to wipe the pockets and clean each spot and the material does not get dried soon. The price of the product is perfect and I have been using it for almost 6 months without any issues.
