This monitor is awesome. At times I can hear my son breathing. Just about every movement he makes can be heard. A family member put her daughter in my son's crib and she was amazed at what all you could hear. I also love it because it has ten different channels you can chose between. This option is so nice, because if another device interferes with the monitor, you simply select a channel which doesn't have interference. This monitor also has five red lights which light up depending on how much noise your baby is making. This is useful if you want the sound off, but still want to monitor your child. The louder your child becomes the number of lights, which light up, increase. This monitor comes with two receivers, which you could but one in your bedroom and one another room. These receivers both have belt clips. It also has a long range on this monitor. I have been in the neighbor's front yard and never lost signal strength. This is another feature this monitor has. It tells you how good the reception is. The monitor also has a bar showing full battery, half battery, and when the battery needs to be charged it makes a beeping sound. The antenna is also short, which I love. It does not catch on my shirt, if I am working in the yard. The only thing I don't like about the monitor is it sometimes has static and makes clicking sounds. This monitor has been very durable. My son is fifteen months old and the monitor is in really great shape. There are a few scratches, but no cracks and not broken pieces. This says a lot, because between him and me, these receivers have been dropped hundreds of times.

I received this monitor at my shower. At first, we were experiencing static, we then learned about the different channels and it works perfectly now. The only sounds we hear is our darling song singing or crying. I would recommend this product for sure. Its been over a year now and still works perfectly!

I received this baby monitor over five years ago at my baby shower.  I loved that it came with 2 receivers, and that one of them had a vibrator so I could "hear" the baby crying even if I could not hear the monitor.  I was able to go outside and do yard work, while my baby slept in the crib, because I could take the portable vibrating receiver with me.  When my son was finally out of the crib and turned 3, my husband was convinced that my son was old enough that he did not need a "baby" monitor since he was no longer a baby.  I of course, was not ready to give that up yet.  My son is now 5 years old, and while the vibrating receiver has been long put away, we still use the monitor in his and my room every day.  It has been plugged in and turned on NON-STOP for the past 5 years and it is still working perfectly!  It puts my son (and me) at ease that he can wake up anytime during the night, and in his small, quite voice, can say "mommy, I need you" and I will be right there, because he knows I can hear him.  This monitor is 100% worth every penny and has gone over and above its duty for a new mother!!  My only complaint is that periodically there is a lot of static.  So much so, that I have to get out of bed, unplug (my end of the receiver) the cord and plug it back it - and the static goes away.

We bought these monitors for our second child and although they work great inside, and right outside the babies room, if you move far beyond there the monitor doesn't work anymore. We learned this the hard way as our baby was screaming and we couldn't hear him until we actually got inside! I highly reccomend them if you are justing using them as a room to room monitor, but don't trust the monitor for "long range" usage.

After having the safety first monitor break within the first year of use - we researched the Fisher Price monitors.  I purchased the white and silver fisher price monitor.  it came with one base and two separate monitors.  At first I did not see a need for the two monitors - but we really enjoy having both of them now.  We keep one upstairs and the other on our main level at home.  It is a very quiet monitor - not really any interference.  It is also a very crisp and clear monitor.  We can even hear our daughter sucking her thumb and rolling over in the monitor.  It was a great purchase and  we would recommend this item to anyone.  We learned our lesson that it is not as important to puchase the top of the line because they brak and the manufacturers usually do not stand behind them.  The only downfall is that it is not wireless & it does nto have a video feed attached.  Hoever, it is still a great item to purchase.

i am writing a review on the fisher price baby monitor.  It is the best baby monitor in the world.  I have has this monitor for over five (5) years, and I have not had one minutes problem with it, and it still works great even after five(5) years.  My children's bedrooms are both upstairs, and my bedroom is down stairs.  I can put them both in their own rooms, and go to my own room and have no worries for the rest of the night.  This monitor picks up every movement, that either child makes.  This helps us all get a great nights sleep.  That means alot when you are a busy mother always running all over the place, for everyone.  I would absolutly reccomend this fisher price product to any of my friends and any of my family.  I would also have no reservations about purchasing another product manufactured by the fisher price company.  Even though my children are five (5) years old and two (2) years old, I would go out tomorrow and buy this product again, if anyhting happened to it.

A friend bought this monitor for me and I was skeptical because I had not reseached it myself.  I should not have had any worries, this is a great monitor.  I have used mine every night for the past 4 years and never a problem.  I take these along when we travel because they are small and unintrusive.  I actually put one in my coat pocket if I go in the garage.  Great product!

I absolutley love my Fisher Price baby monitors! They are great quality and reliable monitors! As a first time parent i wasn't sure which to pick out of the huge selection they have everywhere, but I am sure glad that i chose these! It comes with two moitors, which is very convenient. I am able to put one monitor in my bedroom (connected to the charger) to have at night, and the other one in the living room to listen to naptime! It also comes with a charger. I leave the charger in my room and simply switch the monitors out when the one in the living room is out of battery. The monitor has both reception bars and battery bars on the digital screen. When it starts to go out of range, the battery starts to go low or the recevier in the babys room is turned off, it makes a loud beeping noise until the problem is taken care of. My favorite thing about these monitors is that they are safe! With other monitors, you get outside interferences (sometimes you can hear other people and they can hear you!) which is very scary! With these monitors there is 10 different channels but, i have left both of mine on channel 1 since my 13 month old son was born and never had interference! These are great monitors!

 As a Grandparent starting all over raising children again I was looking for smthing that I could trust to keep after the babies and still be abl to get my work done. Thats when I went with the Fisher Price Long Range 900 Mhz monitor with duel receivers. Fist of all Fisher Price is a name which I TRUST and grew up with myself, second it was a long range set whitch was great for me because then I can still do all my gardening and yard work and still hear the kids when they are put down for a nap. I also found that you could add more receivers to the Fisher Price Long Range 900 mhz Monitoor system. I now have multipul units throughout the huse so I can keep tract of the kids no matter where I am in the house. The Fisher Price Long Range 900 MHZ Monitor with Duel Receivers is a system that I have bought as gifts and recomended to many of the new moms or new mom to be that I know. My Grandchrildren are now 4 yrs.; 3 yrs.; and a set of 20 month old twins but I exspect to be using my Fisher Price Long Range 900 MHZ Monitor System with duel receivers for many years to come, I love them and they last!!!

The Fisher Price 900 MHZ Long Range Monitors are a life safer for a nervous new mom. The dual receivers are great because you can leave one in your bedroom for when the baby is asleep as night, and have another one to carry around the house with you for nap times. Its also helpful in case the battery runs out you always have an extra on hand. There are four different channels on the monitor system. The receivers reach a long distance, you can basically go anywhere in your house and still be able to have great reception. The sound quality is very clear, and the receivers have a volume control. We could even take ours outside and it was still close enough for them to work. Its nerve wracking to be a first time parent, and these are great because you can hear every little noise your little one makes. The receivers take three AAA batteries or they have a power cord that can be plugged into the wall.
