My son was very big (9lbs 9oz) at birth.  By 3 months he wanted to stand and bounce and this toy was perfect.  On the lowest setting he could touch the bottom (he was 99% for height however).  Nothing was necessary to keep him properly positioned, he could reach all the toys and to this day (he is 6 months now) we have not yet put batteries in it!  It's entertaining without the bells and whistles and he plays in it several times a day.  He loves being eye level with his big sister.  This is incredibly compact and doesn't take up a large space.  The seat is easy to remove and clean.  I absolutely love this toy.
