The Fisher-Price Zen Collection Cradle Swing is an absolute must have for any new parents. My son was very fussy as a newborn and still has bouts of fussiness as an infant and as he's transitioning into the older baby stage. The thing I like the most about the Fisher-Price Zen Collection Cradle Swing is that you can position the swing so it swings back and forth or side to side. This is a very important feature. My son only falls asleep in the swing when it swing side to side. I can set the back and forth motion on the cradle swing to help soothe his fussiness during his waking house and can set the side to side motion when he is sleeping during his nap or at night. I am impressed with the quality of the materials of the Fisher-Price Zen Collection Cradle Swing and feel like this purchase is money well spent. I absolutely recommend the Fisher-Price Zen Collection Cradle Swing to other parents.

I am so happy with this swing and how long it lasted! Although I did not purchase it myself, it was given to my by my sister-in-law, it lasted for both of my children until they were sitting up on their own! Talk about a life saver! I absolutely LOVED that the seat came out and had recline position! I was able to move it around like a bouncer when I needed to do chores. The swing worked perfectly for them! Almost always put them to sleep when I couldn't rock them myself. Although I dislike the mobile it was too short for them to really see it unless I turned the seat and positioned it correctly which didn't really work well all the time. Durability It lasted through 4 kids! Let me say that again FOUR kids! Both of my nephews and then my two kids up until they were 4-5 months old. Unfortunately after all of that the motor died around the same time the swing screws started coming lose.. probably because my toddler kept pulling on it and trying to climb in it. But still INCREDIBLE durability. Also when they say weight limit they mean it! My toddler also snapped the bouncer less than a month ago when I took my infant out to change her I turned around he's standing and jumping in it next thing I know I heard a snap the lower plastic base cracked. But again TOTALLY durable as it lasted through 4 children !!! Ease of Use I had no trouble taking the seat off the swing, although my husband was never able to figure out. It was easy to start, clean, and buckle them in. Safety Although my son was buckled in, he was hanging sideways once which scared the hell out of me. But I suppose that's because he was starting to sit up and it says to stop use when they are sitting up right on their own I believe.

This swing was a priceless addition to our home when preparing for the arrival of our babies! It is so soft and luxurious, exceptionally comfortable for little ones. The swing speeds and sounds are great features, as is the ability to rotate the swing easily from swinging side-to-side or front-to-back. The seat of the swing actually doubles as a stand-alone seat that can be popped out of the swing and set on the floor. It's always great to have more places and options for where to put your baby and this swing offers great functionality in that respect. It is large and sturdy - a really substantial piece of baby gear. Not only does it run on batteries, but also on an A/C adapter - BRILLIANT! All baby swings should have both options, in my opinion. The neutral tones are very pleasing and the colors and style would compliment most any décor. The Zen line is creative in that respect, considering how these big items are so visible in your living space - an excellent nod to parents who may not want everything to be pink, blue or bright primary colors amidst their furnishings.

We had one of these swings donated to one of the daycares I worked at for use in the newborn room, and it was a great help for when more than one baby was fussy and I could only hold one at a time. I did love it when working with the newborns, but found it wasn't all that practical for bigger infants/babies. I did like the motion, how it was different than any other baby swing I had used before. The music wasn't annoying when I had to listen to it for hours on end, and the whole swing was easy to clean which was nice when we had a super pukey baby. The price is fair, for what you're getting it makes sense for a daycare center, or daycare provider to purchase, however I don't think for an individual baby it would make a lot of sense, because the baby would outgrow it too fast. Versatility It is good for a newborn, maybe up to a three month old, past that I didn't feel like it would be very good. Durability Overall the design and durability seemed very sturdy. It was used often for multiple babies for a lot during the day, and it held up well. Ease of Use Very easy to use. The buttons are clear, and changing batteries isn't a hassle at all. Safety The swing, and the stand were very sturdy and very safe. Again, only up to a certain size baby. Features I found this had many more options than other swings on the market that cost way more.

I really like this fisher price zen cradle swing because it is a two in one. My baby really likes this swing too. I put him in there and he is asleep in minutes. This swing is very versatile. It can swing at many different speeds and has vibration features. This swing is very durable. I have had mine for a while and it has not yet broken or caused me any problems. I also really enjoy using this swing because it is easy to use. There are a number of settings that you can choose, between swinging modes and vibrations. It also comes with an easy to read manual. This swing is safe, as it comes with a buckle and straps to keep the baby in. It is also burrowed down so the baby can't slip out of the swing. I really enjoy all of the features that this swing comes with. Besides the several different swing settings, and different vibration settings, it also comes with a mobile to keep your baby focused and interested. This swing also has the ability to be taken off of the swing part and made to be used as just a casual vibration seat.

I absolutely loved this swing! it was great i used it with both of my boys. I never had a problem whisking them off tho sleep in this swing it went though two children and is still going strong.I also had the matching bouncer.It was great!This swing ROCKS (literally) the comfortably is very nice and it is also very appealing to the eye it is so soft and rocks two directions. it plays music and you can even control the volume. I really could not say anything negative about this product, but i did notice that the suede on the headrest would make my baby's head bald. but it grew back of course once they started to crawl and transitioned to a crib. but the swing itself is wonderful! i would recommend it to everyone i know who has or will be having a baby. I loved it and wished it came in a more girl friendly colors as well and i would have bought that kind for my baby girl. This is a great swing you should buy it!

The improvement I could suggest for the Fish-Price Zen Collection Cradle Swing would some sort of locking bar at the base so the base does not squeek some much. **

I helped a friend of mine put this seat together for her new baby.  It seemed so amazing from the pictures and the reviews.  It was so cute and the colors and sounds were great for the baby.  She seemed to really react to the entire experience.  The volume adjusts, the swing speed adjusts and you can adjust how it swings and what direction. However, putting it together was a task in and of itself.  I know a lot of products like this can have confusing and convoluded directions, but this one was nearly impossible.  It took hours and took most of my patience.  Once it was finally put together, it took over the room. Once together, it seemed to be almost flawless.  Besides some manuevering difficulties at some of the angles in getting her in and out- it is okay.  I have heard they aren't very long-lasting and it absolutely takes up a lot of room, I hope it will at least serve its purpose until she grows out of it.

I love this swing. I searched everywhere for the perfect swing for my daughter and this is it. I love the fact that you can plug it in rather than use batteries all the time which can get expensive. The colors are beautiful and really made it blend with the rest of our furniture. The moment we put our daughter into this swing she loved it. She enjoyed swinging side to side rather than front to back but I loved that you had the option to change it. (you do have to be careful when you switch because it will bang you in the knee) The little blanket attachment kept her warm and she enjoyed chewing on it although she wanted her feet out at all times. I also appreciated that you could remove the cover and wash it rather than spot cleaning it. I wasn't fond of the dragonfly mobile that came with it so we never attached it to our swing. It seemed a little silly and wasn't possisioned right for her to see them. Overall This is the best swing ever

When you are a new parent, it's hard to know what products you need and which ones you can do without.  When you are expecting your second (or third, etc) child you can't help but marvel at the products that have come out since your first bundle of joy.  Consider this swing a product that you NEED, even if you have a swing from your firstborn.  This swing cradles your little one in a warm, soft pillow and mimics the sensation of being held.  Believe me, you'll appreciate it when you're up at 2:00 in the morning with a sick baby and afraid that you'll fall asleep if you rock her (not that I've had that happen!)   If you're concerned about the price, register for it and a few friends can go in together.  Also consider the resale value of it, you can pass it on at a consignment shop and get a little back. Not convinced yet?  Let me add that this might even allow you to take a SHOWER without any little ones crying.  :)
