The Flavia Fusion Coffee Maker, Espresso Machine and Teapot is great because it's so easy to use; you can literally set up the coffeemaker with one hand while texting someone in the other. My family uses this everyday in addition to a Keurig machine and both perform similarly. The only reason I would prefer the Keurig over the Flavia is because the Flavia Fusion Coffee Maker, Espresso Machine and Teapot really offers a great selection of tea and coffee but without the availability of K-cups. Sadly, they are only offered on the Flavia website whereas you can buy K-cups almost anywhere now. Other than that, this coffeemaker is great for making both tea and coffee. Every time I use it, the flavors of both drinks stay pure to their own tastes and don't taste like I had just used the Flavia to make tea or coffee before. I would recommend this if you don't mind ordering the drink packages every time.

This coffee is very expensive and you can only get it direct from Flavia.  They have limited selection in decaf.  The creamer packets do not always fully open so a lot of the creamer is wasted.  Update: I still have this coffee maker after about 6 years and it still works well so it is definitely worth the price. I change the filter regularly and use only filtered water in the reservoir so it doesn't get a mineral build up like it would get from plain tap water. I still get emails from Flavia advertising their sales. If you stock up when you get one of their sale emails, you can keep the cost per cup low. Sometimes they will give you free shipping and a percent off (20%, 10% etc). That is the best time to order. Brew Performance This makes good coffee quickly. Ease of Cleaning It's pretty hard to clean in the very bottom of the reservoir. I use a q-tip to get most of the sediment out of the bottom where it is too small to get your hand. Durability Six years and counting.

I haven't stopped at expensive coffee shops in the morning for years after owning this machine. I first tried the machine at the office, then bought my own. The coffee can be expensive I agree with another reviewer, but the quality is higher in my opinion, than the coffee from the Keurig Machines that we now have at work. I've found another place to buy the filter packs that Flavia takes, which is Coffee Rocket, the price is lower, though often the Flavia site has sales and offers that make it worthwhile to buy direct from them. I like the stronger potions and agreeing again, that it doesn't make a huge mug, I do use two packets of strong coffee, set on a medium size on the dial, and that will make a good size cup and be all the caffeine I need for the morning. No muss and no pot cleaning. (once every couple of months you can clean the pot internally by running a vinegar water solution through it.) I also heat some half and half and add that to the cup first because I find that pouring cold milk or cream, cools it off too much, though others do not find that an issue. Ease of Cleaning it's easy to clean as you don't have a pot to clean. the only reason I gave it a 4 here, is because it can be a little time consuming to run the pots of vinegar and then water to rinse, through the machine. Ease of Use simple Design nice looking Durability I've had mine for at least 6-7 years now. I've changed filters and done the descaling using white vinegar and water, but have not had other maintenance issues.

I have had my Flavia Fusion One cup coffee maker for several years now and it has held up very well. I have only once had to de-scale it with vinegar due to low output, but it was easy to do and solved the problem immediately. I was able to find the information I needed to do so right on the website without having to contact customer service. I love the coffees that are available for this machine, there is a nice variety and I have enjoyed all those that I have tried. I love having a hot cup of fresh coffee ready in an instant, especially since I have three small children. The one main downfall of this product compared to other one cup machines is that the coffee packets have to be ordered, they are not available at retail stores. That being said, there are often promotions for free shipping or other disc pints which make the price fairly reasonable per cup.

There are a lot of great reviews on this product, so I tried it. I just was not impressed. You may only use the specific coffee and tea packets made for this machine and they're not that exciting. They taste a bit bland. I'm a big fan of Starbucks and Gevalia coffees and there's no way to brew these brands.

It has a great variety of coffees and teas that can be made quickly and easily so you can enjoy fresh brewed beverages at a touch of a button. My Flavia drinks station is my very favorite of all kitchen appliances. As a college student who has little time to sleep, I need that caffeine every morning. The coffee made in the Flavia machine is excellent - it tastes wonderful. I love the fact that I can make only one cup instead of a whole pot and that I can choose a different flavor of coffee or add-ins every time I turn it on. I favor the Columbia Roast myself and like the creamy topping to give it a little milk (as a college student I don't always have milk in my refrigerator) and this is a good option. My mom uses the Milky Way packets - they are a mix of carmel and chocolate and are also great if you like something sweet in your coffee. The coffee maker heats up the water in the pot very quickly (although I'd even like it quicker because I am always late) but I am really and truly satisfied!

I absolutely love Coffee so I need to have it everyday. Grinding my own coffee beans and then making it takes forever in the morning. So I went out to Costco and bought myself a Coffee maker. My company provides us with coffee and have the brand Flavia and I've been pretty happy about it so i decided to get a coffee maker made by this brand. This is a great Coffee Maker because it also has a variety of other functions. It can make Espressos and Tea. It's not just a Coffee maker. There are many more advance models out there that will make different kinds of tea depending on the tea bag you supply it with. Of course you will have to buy their special specific tea bags to put inside the machine but it's pretty useful and handy if you're not in te mood in making a drink.

I loved this machine when I purchased it three years ago. However, the coffee has gotten too pricey for me now that I am unemployed. Several people I know have purchased Keurigs. The end product seems the same to me, but you can only order Flavia products online. Keurig is carried in many different stores.

It works well, but the problem of finding coffee to use with it is a problem. It would be nice if you could get the coffe locally, other than that the coffee maker works well and the coffee is better than average. I do like being able to make one cup. In that, it is a problem if you wish to make a number of cups, it takes a few minutes to heat up sometimes to make more coffee.
