We originally had one air conditioner in our tiny home (and no central air), so some rooms were still pretty toasty in the summer, especially the ones with windows facing the sun. So, I took a chance and went with this air conditioner, and I haven't looked back since. There are lots of settings on this thing. Even when I don't use it as an AC, I'll often leave its fan on for noise cancellation and air circulation. However, in the summer, I love this thing. Put the blinds down, this thing on high, and kick back and enjoy a nice movie in the summer. After a while, you will need to clean the filter. This process is easy; just remove it and then wash it with soap/water and reinstall. Simple as that. Other than that, you don't have to worry about a thing. I highly recommend this air conditioner.

I choose to get the frigidaire air conditioner after my mother and father n law told me about their Frigidaire air conditioner they bought. After going to their house one weekend with the kids. They had me sole. well they didn't but the Coolier temps in their house did lol. Everytime we would go visit our in laws, my hubby and kids would be sweating it was so hot in their house. Most time it seemed to be coolier outside if the wind was blowing than it would be in their house. They had a crappy old time airconditionier that must have been as old as they were. It did not work good at all and did not cool their house down at all. So after feeling the differene. I have decided to get me one. I actually have central heat and air, but we do not need to cool the whole house down, So we put the Frigidaire Air conditioner in out kitchen and it blows into our dining room and living room as well. It runs all the time with no problems. SO needless to say I have saved lots of money On my electric bill, just from getting a window ac unit. Highly recommend to you.

I had to purchase a new air conditioning unit for my daughter's room last summer so I went with this one, and it works great, and actually I am getting ready to pull it back out for her, because in va it is hot right now. She is happy with it, because her room always gets the hottest in the summer, because of the area of the house she is in. I am happy with this applianace, and would recommend it to anyone looking for an air conditioner. It blows cold air not luke warm no matter how hot it is like I said in va or temperature can reach up to 105 or more sometimes, but the air conditioner still works the same blowing that nice cool air. I love it actually I just recently brought a new air conditioner same type, because my old one does not work anymore so I am happy knowing I will have a cool house in the summer. I would recommend this type of air conditioner to any one who likes cool air no matter the temperature outside.

I love my Frigidaire Air Conditioner Model #FAS256R2A because it a really good and effective air conditioner that I can use all day long. i remember owning my old air conditioner and I was not able to run it for too long or else it would stop working. I had continued to use it hoping that it would improve a bit but unfortunately this was not so as it did not improve at all. I had to get someone to try to fix it and even then it still would not work properly. The final straw was when the air conditioning unit stopped responding to any setting that I would put it on. The air conditioner would just do whatever it felt like and at that point I realized that I had to get a new air conditioning unit. This Frigidaire air conditioner is one of the best because it is easy to use and install and also it is most definitely not as loud as some of the other air conditioning units on the market today. I think this air conditioner will last for a long while.

I use to live out in the desert with my family.  We lived in la quinta.  Out there the tempature could reach a sizzling hundred and twenty five degrees during the summer months.  At the time of one of the summers where is was very close to that my wife was pregnant with our first child.  She was eight months pregnant during august where it reached a high in years of a hundred and twenty.  when its that hot and your pregnant i am sure it is misserable.  so having air conditioning is a must have.  we were having problems with the one that we had in the house at the time so we went out looking to see what was out there at the time.  We had no idea what was really good at the time or popular either.  we were pretty much on our own.  so we went to a store that sold frigidaire air conditioners.  they seemed good and had some good reviews on the card at the store.  so we took a chance.  my wife loved it.  said it made the house feel so much better and it did not take long to cool it down and it wasnt loud when she was trying to sleep. making her confy was number one.

There is nothing worse than not feeling cool when trying to relax during the sweltering heat of summer which is why we use the Frigidaire Air Conditioner Model #FAS256R2A. We actually own two of these air conditioners. One air conditioner is in our living room and the other is in our bedroom. The one in our living room stays also almost constantly during the summer while the one in the bed room is turned on a little before bedtime. We have never had a problem with either air condition which is especially good sine the one stays on for so long. Neither has ever leaked or froze up during use. The Frigidaire Air Conditioner also cools down the room very quickly which is very convenient. The air conditioner in our bedroom gets turned on about one hour before bedtime and the room is the perfect temperature by the time we are ready to sleep. This air conditions is competitively priced and it is worth every penny.

Well I bought this air conditioning system after many months of looking at various products for the window mount air conditioning systems. The fridgidaire products are supposedly the the cheapest brand of appliances available. Alright lets break the pros and cons down again. Well for the benefits of this product i would say it does deliver on the promise to cool. Although make sure you read the area of cooling for the particular machine that you choose to buy (that way your not having super high expectations in a large room). Measure 3 times the opening. I would really suck if it wont fit... The remote is a nice feature if you plan on placing the a/c far from reach. You will need to ground the appliance also provide an outlet for water drainage. This can be very asthetically unpleasing so if its in the back its easy to cover up in the front its hard. IT is a very quiet machine, pretty simple to install, you might get a rebate from the state... i highly doubt it but u might. So far its worth the price but it all depends on how long it lasts :) thumbs up for now

I have been using this unit for about 2 years now, and it's still working great. Because I live in New York, there isn't much time that I would need to turn this on, but when I do, it cool my apartment in about 20 mins, which isn't bad I think. I don't own that much air conditioner to compare this. My apartment is a single room, around 800 square feet. I have this unit in my living room and it can cool the living room, bedroom, and kitchen without issue. This unit has automatic timer, and temperature detection so it can be turned off when you want it to. It also comes with a remote, which isn't that much useful, just the normal on/off, increasing and decreasing the temperature. The buttons on the unit itself are about to go bad however, due to wear, though still functioning. This has 5 years warranty which I keep my paper work for, so something to keep in mind when purchasing something this expensive. Overall this is great for a one or two bedroom house.

We loved our Frigidaire Air Conditioner Model #FAS256R2A.  We had it for years and really liked how well it worked.  It was all we had for cooling our small house and it did a wonderful job.  We recently had a house/garage fire and lost our Frigidaire Air Conditioner but you can believe we are going to be replacing it this summer.  Like I said, it was all we had for the whole entire house, we don't have a big house but it was enough to do most of it and we just used a fan at nights in the bedroom that it wouldn't quite reach.  It was not too loud just a nice, quiet hum, it was really nice that there was a remote control operation with this air conditioner too.  It was really easy to install and we loved that it was energy star rated.  Any cons would be the water overflow but that didn't really bother us.  Over-all this is a great unit and I cannot wait until this summer so I can get a brand new one!
