We just bought this dishwasher from our neighbor and it is great!! After 5 years of not having a dishwasher, I am thrilled. I have previously owned dishwashers, but our current home did not have one. This is my first portable dishwasher. It does a great job getting our dishes clean and is relatively quiet. The only loud part of the cycle is when the water drains into the sink. I'm sure I could put something in the sink, so we didn't hear the splashing of water, but it doesn't bother us. This is a great machine and saves me so much time! We use liquid dish detergent in it and our dishes come out sparkling. I love how easy it is to load, the different heights of the pegs allow me to use it to wash 99% of our dishes. The only ones that don't go in are pots that are too tall. Our 7 and 14 year old children can load it and run it with no problems. Very user friendly! Roller wheels make it very easy to move as needed and it blends seamlessly into our kitchen.

I have had the Ultra Quiet III for 5 years now and would not recommend it to ANYONE! It was pretty good in the beginning, but when the warranty ran out so did the quality and reliabity. I have to pre wash all my dishes and make sure all crumbs are off them, or they will be stuck on there. I use Cascade powder or liquid which works good but now it is not working at all. I also use the jet dry stuff but there are still spots on my dishes. I have read online that you can clean your dishwasher with vinegar, so I did but there are still spots and my silverware is now dully and all my dishes feel like they still have soap on them so I either have to re-wash them by hand or re-wash them in the dishwasher with no soap, and add vinegar to the cycle. PLUS the cycle will stick on the 7 o'clock mark and will stay like that until I switch it manually. I do not know what to do but I really hate it and would love to through it out the window. DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER! and like other's have said that it is not quiet we have an open kitchen and living room so when it said ultra quiet we thought we were gettting the best, boy were we wrong.

I purchased a home that was already built so did not get to choose my appliances.  This will be the first to be replaced.  The dishes do not get clean and they do not dry.  It is also very loud.  I have an open kitchen with the washer just a few feet from the couch where I watch tv.  If I am watching a movie I do not run the dishwasher or I have to turn the tv up extremely loud.  The thing that bothers me the most is the fact I still hand wash dishes because the dishwasher doesn't work the way it should.  I would not recommend this one to anyone.

This dishwasher isn't really loud, but I can still definitely hear it.  I try not to run the dishwasher when we are watching TV because its very distracting.  So, I wouldn't call it ULTRA quiet.  But the biggest factor is that the dishes don't get really clean!  EVERYTHING has to be rinsed off first and if you use powder detergent, this dishwasher will barely clean the dishes.  I haven't been too impressed with its cleaning ability.  The shelving is spaced just fine.  I think it gives ample space for plenty of dishes and I do like the silverware container.  The silverware container can be easily removed from the dishwasher so I can take it to my silverware drawer and put them all away.  Aesthetically, it looks good and the stainless hasn't worn.  However, it would be nice if the buttons were on the inside or there was a child-lock, because my 3 year old can easily push all the buttons.  But mainly, I'd like to buy a dishwasher that actually cleans the dishes much better, without spots all over them.

I recently purchased this dishwasher and was unsure of how well it would work. Once it was installed and as it was running through the first initial cycle, I was amazed at how quiet it actually was. I am very pleased my dishes come out clean with no spots or residue from the detergent. I have used it everyday since I have purchased it. The Frigidaire Quiet III offers the best quality and price compared to what is on the market today. With the several different wash cycles it makes being green easy. It has  actually lowered my water bill and my electric bill. Since it uses less water I am doing my part for the environment and my dishes still comes out clean. It is easy to see when the rinse agent needs to be refilled unlike many other dishwashers where you have to guess. With this one you look for the color to disappear from the clear window. As for the price of this machine it was incredibly reasonable. It is easy for me to load even when I hold my daughter.  It has plenty of room on the top shelf for my large glasses and baby bottles. All of my big items fit on the bottom shelf with no problem. The placement of the silverware rack is wonderful. There is enough room to put my cooking utensils in there as well. I would highly recommend that this be your next home improvement purchase if you are remodeling your kitchen. The look will fit seamlessly with whatever style you go with.

     For a portable Dishwasher, this was the best I ever had.  The butcher block top sold  me too.   This is what I had before I moved into my rented Condo with the built in Hotpoint.       I sold my portable as I had no space and one was already here with the rest of the appliances.   Hotpoint dishwashers  stink.  The Refrigerator is on the money, I did not trust it and got a refigerator thermometer.  The same with the stove, it is great too amd easy cleaning.  Why can;t hotpoint get it together with their dishwashers?  Even GE profile dishwasher is reasonably  priced, but works better.      The worst thing about the Hotpoit brand dishasher is that I would almost be better off hand washing them.  Everything has to be rinsed very well, and smudges are terrible afterwards.      I use Finish and Jet dry. so I know it is not what I am using.      The onoy good new is that if I rinse well before washing and towel dry AFTER the dry cycle. I guess it will have to do for now and it is better than nothing.
