Love the capacity and power of this microwave. From instant coffee water to reheating large cassaroles, this microwave has become a valued asset within our home. Turntable keeps the even cooking of all foods, and lighted box allows you to see if there are any boil covers. Easy to clean interior with a spray and swipe. I highly recommend this microwave to any household.

This microvave was purchased to replace a ge microwave that we had for over 7 years. That previous microwave was still working, albeit on a much lower power then before so it needed to be heated for 2x the time. I guess that speaks volumes about the longevity of ge devices and this new guy isn't any different. i loved the stainless steel look of this microwave so we went for it. also, its bigger then our older one (0.9 cf) so i like how i can warm bigger dishes in it. what i dont like is obviously, its much bigger. also the stainless steel makes it attract a dirtier appearance quicker then our older white one. it heats very thoroughly and in a shorter amount of time which is a great bonus. i like the reprogrammed heating choices too, and that each button corresponds to how many minutes you can warm it for (6=6 minutes) so its one quick button if you need to warm it for longer then a minute. i am hoping that this microwave, like our older one, also lasts over 5 years for i will say its money well spent.

we use this microwave constantly.  it always does a great job.  looks great.  one  button start does most everything.  easy set-up,easy to work and easy clean-up.  moderate price. i would recomend this appliance to family.   i give it 5 stars.

The **GE Microwave JES1651SJ** is a great product for the price.  We did not have a lot of time to research microwaves because our previous one just quit working one day.  Since my Dad has to have microwave popcorn on a Sunday night, we went to shop for one on a Sunday.  We got lucky by picking this one. It has several buttons for various food items:popcorn, baked potato, vegetable,and beverage.  It also has a reheat button.  The sensor works great.  It senses when a food item is ready and will beep to let you know.  Our microwave popcorn was terrific!  The bag was completely popped and no scorch marks were on the bag.  This microwave also has a timer on it and even if you have to microwave a food during this time, the timer keeps the correct minutes for what you were timing. After having a ten year old microwave, I have had to learn to adjust times for reheating and cooking.  Our old microwave took a long time for all its functions.  Now, with this one, our food is ready in no time at all. Overall, I would recommend this microwave.
