This toaster was a wedding gift to my wife and I, from a friend, several years ago. It really works great, the settings are perfect and it has crumb trays that can be emptied out periodically. I think the various settings are pretty accurate and this toaster is very easy to use. Has the REHEAT, DEFROST, BAGEL and ON buttons as well as a turndial for setting the lenth of time. The look of this toaster is really nice which I like because it is something that we keep out all of the time and it isn't overly bulky. We are definitely breakfast people around here so this toaster is a winner for sure with us! If you need one, give this toaster a look!

I keep mine in a cabinet right above the countertop. I have limited space, or it would showcase on my countertop!! It is very attractive. We love using it especially in the winter time, and making lightly buttered cinnamon/sugar toast. Sounds nice? What is better is that toast is a light breakfast and is inexpensive. You will be happy with this appliance helping you out!! Toasting Evenness NICE!!! Safety NEVER put any object in the toast while toasting!!! Ease of Cleaning Pretty easy....lean over the kitchen sink, and open the trap door~wipe out with dry paper towel. Close the door, and return to put it up.

So, toasters are pretty boring, in my opinion, however, I was pretty dang excited when we recieved this little beauty for a wedding present. We had some old dented up number that cost probably 3 bucks at a black friday sale so this technological marvel made me want to make toast for breakfast lunch and dinner! It has big slots, pretty buttons and the thing just looks nice. It makes toast, too, which is a nice function in a toaster. ;) I'm pleased over all with the thing, however, if you want a few downers, (you know you want downers) the lever to push down the toast sometimes doesn't stick. It kinda takes more pressure than you'd think to get the lever to click into place. There have been several times when I have pushed down the toast and came back a few minutes later, thinking my toast (or poptart... or waffle... whatever) should be done only to find that the lever wasn't clicked all the way down ( I could swear that it made a click... must have been a warning click... like, beware! Potential of toast!) Anyway, it's a little irritating but as long as you remember that you have to push the button all the way down (pretty sensible thing to do, right?) you shouldn't have a problem. Sure it's big, and a little heavy... so what? It's pretty... has some cool functions that you will probably never use AND it makes a mean slice of toast.

If you love toast, you'll love this toaster. It always toasts things very evenly on both sides, and it toasts in a short amount of time. Also, with its stainless steel look, it looks good in any kitchen. This toaster has some nice features as well. For one, there is crumb trays on each side which make clean up easy. There is also settings for toasting bagels if you only want one side of the bagel toasted. I have never had any problems with this toaster, and it still works great. just like it is new, 1 year after I purchased it, even with daily use. If you are looking for a good toaster at a good price, this is the one for you. Don't waste your money on cheap toasters that will break shortly after purchasing them, buy this toaster.

When I buy a toaster, I dont want it just to toast two slices of bread. I want my toaster to be able to toast at least four pieces at a time, so I dont have to let the first two go cold. Also, I want my toaster to be able to toast a bagel, waffle, reheat french toast, cook my english muffin, pop tart, or, whatever else I decide it should toast. Fortunately, my GE 4-Slice toaster 169137 does all that and more. I hate to go after a piece of english muffin that has fallen so far down, that I think I will electrocute myself by going after it with a fork. Fortunately, this model has a feature that you can press and retrieve the fallen english muffin. The settings are quite accurate. Light is really light, and dark is dark. Go figure, a toaster that does what it should. It is hot enough to warm up refrigerated french toast or pancakes. It toasts the english muffins so they are just crunch enough on the outside to melt butter all through their tunnels.This is a really great toaster, I highly recommend the GE 4-slice toaster 169137.

I received this GE four slice toaster as a Christmas gift.  I wanted a four slice toaster because I have four kids and thought this would be more handy for morning breakfast making.  We use this toaster to make toast, frozen waffles, and began eating bagels.  The toaster has extremely wide slots which allows bread and bagels to have plenty of room to toast.  We have yet to have something get stuck in the slots.  There is a frozen button that you can push when putting something frozen in the slots.  We use this feature for the frozen waffles and it toasts them correctly.  We began eating bagels since receiving this toaster.  It toasts them very nicely and my kids like me to fry up an egg and put it on the bagel with a slice of cheese.  There is also a reheat button, but we have not used the feature as of yet.  The toaster has a very nice design and looks good sitting on the counter.  It has pull out crumb trays which makes cleaning the toaster very easy.  Overall, I really like this toaster so far.

I was given a 4 -slice GE stainless toaster for Christmas after much complaining about the inadequacy of a 2 slice for a 5-person family.  I had specifically asked for stainless to match my other appliances.  This may be more of a chrome finish than the advertised stainless.  It looks brushed, but not in any way polished.  It doesn't wipe up very well.  Aside from looks the toaster works great!  There are two controls, one for each 2-slices, which is very nice for the more fickle members of the family.  It also has a bagel setting which toasts bagels to perfection allowing for their thickness.  There is a cancel button to quickly release the toast.  There are also frozen and reheat buttons for warming bread and toaster pastries.  The darkness control allows for a wide range of choices. This is an appliance we use every day, and so far I have been very surprised at the function of this product if a little disappointed in its appearance.

My toaster, the GE 4-slice bagel toaster, is a great little toaster. We've owned it for a couple of years and we use it regularly for bagels, English muffins, toast, waffles, pancakes, pop tarts etc. The defrost button allows frozen food, such as the waffles, to thaw while cooking and come out crisp, hot and delicious. The crumb trays are easy to clean and keeps the counter tops free of crumbs. We use the reheat option for heating up leftover pancakes. And of course it's perfect for bagels. I have yet to get a bagel stuck in the wide slots and they always come out perfectly brown and toasted. However, there is a problem with my toaster. I have been recently clued in that the CPSC has recalled my particular toaster due to fire and shock hazards. That bums me out. For safety concerns, I will have to look into this matter further, so at this time I would not recommend buying or using this product.
