Awesome double oven when you only have 30 inches. I love to cook and bake. It always seemed like I had so many things to cook at different temperatures when it came to cooking for holidays, parties and family get togethers. I wanted a double oven but there was no room to add a second on in my kitchen. My oven was built in below my cooktop so it is not up higher like a normal wall unit. For this reason, it is somewhat difficult to check the bottom oven but can be done. I mainly use the top oven and it is wonderful. Because it is a smaller area, I can bring it to 425 degrees in about 5 minutes or less! I have backed lots if cupcakes, cakes, casseroles, beer can chickens, etc in both ovens with out a problem. A full size turkey at Thanksgiving may be a challenge but my grandmother always used an electric roaster so that is what I do. My previous GE controls were plastic and the buttons cracked and fell off. These buttons are in touchscreen like in the glass. Buttons are easy to use and respond quickly to touch. I do wish there was a lockout on these controls like my cooktop because my one year finds too much enjoyment in punching the buttons. Overall, I really have enjoyed this oven and how quickly it heats up and I can cook two dishes at once without a complete kitchen remodel. Durability Had for one year with no issues.

I gave it a 3 because nothing else does what this oven can do in this space. If another manufacturer comes along with a double oven to fit in a single oven space, I would recommend the other oven. I have owned this just over two years. I am on the third oven, and the problem I have encountered is only one: Moisture tends to make the interior lights not work in the ovens. It took a long time to figure out what is causing it, and the manufacturer has replaced circuit boards, switches, and ovens ... all to no avail. I live with it -- it is just too hard on my kitchen and my life to keep trying to fix it. Everyone needs to make their own decision whether they want to two ovens or lights when they think about this purchase. The two ovens are wonderful. It makes me furious when I think about how much this cost -- and yet it is a defective design, but .... Capacity The days of monster turkey roaster with a domed top are done, but the lower oven can hold a 20 pound turkey if you use foil instead. Mostly I use the upper oven, which heats quickly. Performance I think the meat probe does not work well -- meat is undercooked every single time I use that. Better that than overcooked, though. Design The design is clearly defective. The electrical malfunctions repeatedly. I am on the third oven, and I have learned to just live with the fact that baking or roasting high moisture items will result in the oven lights not working... ticks me off, but GE Cannot Fix This.

Viking or Wolf. I loved that I was able to get two nicely sized ovens in the same space as one. I frequently use the top smaller oven, as it's more energy efficient and is big enough for most of my needs, like baking off a casserole or roasting some veggies. When that's not big enough, I use the one below. Or, when I'm baking a lot or a few things that need different temperatures, I use them both at the same time. I find that it takes quite awhile for them to heat up to the desired temperatures - I've had other ovens that seemed to take a lot less time, but I just adjust my pre-heat time accordingly so I'm not sitting around waiting too long. I also wish that the beep that alerts you when it's reached the temperature was louder - with the TV on and/or running water (as I'm cleaning while cooking), I sometimes don't hear the beep and have to remember to pay close attention and constantly check the control panel to make sure I didn't miss it. But the evenness of the cooking is good - my baked goods come out nice and it doesn't seem like there's a 'hotter' spot, like I had with some of my other ovens. Capacity If the top oven is too small, use the bottom oven. Or use them both at the same time. Performance It cooks evenly but seems to take very long to heat up. Ease of Cleaning Same ease of cleaning as other ovens - no more and no less. Ease of Use Touch controls make it easy to set the oven properly. Durability I've had it for two years and use it about 2 times a week and haven't had to do any maintenance on it yet. Design I love how sleek and modern it looks and that the controls are touch panels, not knobs.

The "GE Profile 30" Single-Double Wall Oven" is so convenient because you have tow different ovens you can use that takes the place of only one. It just works perfectly and i wish i had this earlier because i have three other siblings, two older brothers and a sister and we all always want to make ourselves some food. It was hard because we had to wait for each other till we finished baking but now this is so much easier. And now we do not fight over the oven, we just laugh at how foolish we were. The "GE Profile 30" Single-Double Wall Oven" is right next to amazing. We be cooking everything and its so fun to use. It makes everything easier for everyone and the food always ends up phenomenal. Thank God for making brilliant men that make magnificent ovens that make remarkable foods that makes families happy.

This stove has been in my mothers home for 20 years. It is a oven that is dependable and convenient. The controls are touch tone and timed for cooking times with alert buzzers when things are done. It has a light to se in the oven, too. It cook evenly and the oven is in the wall. I like this model for it's sylish amke and model. It is modern one of a kind! I use it all th time and have never had aproblem with it. It is safe too. I don't have to worry about kitchen fires or mishaps. For this long lasting oven unit, I would pay more than it actually costs if I had known how dependable it was going to be. After all this time, I still don't plan on butying a new oven for a long time. The GE name is popular in appliances. I recommend this stove to anyone who is lokking for a high-quality applaince at an afordable price! It is low amintenance, modern, effecient, and clean. Anyone who owns a Ge must say good things about them, they are such good products!

If you bake or a lot ,you will love three cooking racks instead of the usual two. This single oven cooks foods evenly, upper smaller oven preheats fast...great for making pizza or other quick meals. The lower oven fits a 25 pound turkey!! (This made my decision easy!) Buy this oven you will not reqret it.

The GE Profile Single-Double Oven is great. It allows you to have 2 ovens in the space of a single oven and still allows you to do a 22 lb turkey in the lower oven. This oven fits my baking style perfectly. I needed a new oven to fit the space of my old undercounter oven. The smaller conventional oven on top allows me to bake cakes, cookies, pizza and breads in a smaller space saving energy by not using the entire oven. It also allows me to have 2 ovens to bake different items at different temps or times with 2 completely separate controls on a nice touch pad controller strip that is easy to use. The larger lower oven is a convection oven which allows me to cook things more quickly also saving energy. The upper oven is also at a more convenient height so is easier on my bad back for more basic everyday baking. Everything about this oven is easier to use than my old one. I love this oven! It actually makes me *want* to bake!
