I use this product for a family of 5. You can move the shelving around to fit tall objects.

I chose this fridge after mine kicked the bucket. It looked sooo spacious in the store but when I got home and started putting all my food away I realized just how small it was. The freezer doesn't hold much of anything. The storage drawers barely holds a bag of carrots and a few oranges. I am very disappointed in how much it holds. Noise Level There is no noise. No humming. No hearing fans turn on and off. Interior Organization The organizational idea presented by this refridgerator is great but in reality is not very convenient Temperature Control Keeps everything just how I need it.... Cold. I set it once I got it and haven't had to touch it since. Ease of Cleaning One thing I can say is it is very easy to clean. I just wipe the glass and go! No streaks! Durability Pretty durable. It has withstood my one year old opening and closing the door, banging on it, rolling toy cars over it. Design Very simple modern design. Plain black on the outside. Glass shelving inside. Will show finger prints but no major stains. Fits well in my Italian bistro style kitchen.

This fridge is pretty good! The glass shelves are easy to clean, as are the door shelves. One of the best features is that all of the shelves (including the door shelves) are adjustable and simple to move around. The temperature control is nice and the humidity control in the crisper drawers has saved us from spoiled food many times!

Over the years we have had good luck with Ge products, and this fridge-freezer combo is no exception. There are many handy features (moveable shelves) that make it easy to re-arrange to fit your food for that day. It is a bit difficult to see all of the food items in the fridge because it sits so low, but for now it hasn't been a horrible problem. The freezer is spacious, has an ice maker, and keeps things nice and cold. Overall, a pretty good fridge-freezer combo without being over the top in any area. There's not a lot that I absolutely love about this fridge, but at the same time there really isn't anything at I absolutely detest, either. This appliance came with our new house, and it is working just fine. Hopefully we won't have to consider replacements fora long time!

Making a selection of a new refrigerator at the store when it is empty is very deceiving!  This GE GTS22KBPBB refrigerator looked very spacious with easy access to the contents.  But once I got it home and filled it, I found it was a backbreaking chore to find things and to remove things!  The top shelf access is impeded but the bulky unit on the "roof" on the refrigerator part. It is very difficult to get a half gallon of juice or a gallon of milk out without a major struggle! You need to bend and twist to remove it!  Lowering the shelf leaves you very little clearance for any items on the next level. The glass shelving does "catch" any spills so cleaning up is easier and faster. The door shelves are very bulky and seem to take up more room than they need to, thus limiting storage.  I do find I have to periodically readjust the temperature of the refrigerator part as the contents in the back sometimes freeze!!  I do like the freezer being on top for easy access.  The other mistake I made was getting a black one....looks dusty all the time when the sun is shining in on it!

Very good refridgerator. I've had mine for a while. If a tea pitcher spills it's easy to clean, and also there is alot of storage room for food, frozen food, condiments, drinks, ice, or what have you. Lots of shelf space and easily managed room along with specified spaces for dairy and a pannel on the freezer for an ice bin and other needs. Downside to mine-it has a ridged bottom so foods do not always sit flat or they tilt easily. But overall I love mine and plan on keeping it here as long as I am living here or it works. Keeps food quite cold in the refridgerator and definately the freezer portion is extremely cold. I have had to use an oven mit to remove food or run my hand under warmed water because it got extremely cold while I was searching for what I wanted for dinner or whatever meal it was. My summary, if you want something simple that does what it is supposed to do-keep food cold or frozen, this is for y ou.

This refrigerator is practical for a small single family. I like the spill proof glass shelves because its helps contain spils to make it easier to clean and they are very easy to more around and pull out when needed. It has 'adjustable gallon door bins' which are more helpful then selves because if you have a spill it does not drip out onto the floor. Also the 'adjustable humidity fruit/vegitable crispers' provide easy storage for fruit and vegetables but I really don't see where it would maybe expand the life of your vegetables.There is a 'pivot out pan removal system' that holds in the 'crispers'drawers, it comes in handy when you have something that has spilt down the fridge because you simply pop that out and take out the drawers and you have the whole bottom of your refridgerator empty and easy to wipe out. The freezer has a 'spill proof floor' that makes it easy to wipe out but is very small so if you have alot of meat and stuff you put in the freezer you make want to think of another refrigerator. This my husband sees benificial more then I but it has 'encased condensers' and you never have to clean them. Its also a very quiet refridgerator, my kitchen is very close to my living room and I have never had a issue with hearing the fridge run. Even after my son has stood there staring into it trying to find something he would like to eat. As most refridgerators are now-a-days the freezer is frost free.  One thing is though if  you need to switch the directions of the door you need to do it before you put things in there and they are very heavy so it will take 2 people easily! Overall for a small single family, this is a great buy. The warrenty's are pretty good, you get a one year warrenty on partys and labor on the entire refridgerator and you also get a 5 year sealed refridgeration system parts and labor. I wish we would have picked out black but I did not see that they had it! With me having someone's little sticky fingers getting into it often it is a constant battle of wiping down the finger prints on the handles. This refridgerator is not a engergy star product. I do wish we would have known more about 'energy star' before we bought our appliances or we may not have purchased this one.
