Helped damaged hair

5

I received two samples of Garnier Frucris Triple Nutrition products in the mail. The packets state that the products are for dry, damaged hair. Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition 3-Minute Undo contains avocado oil, olive oil, almond oil, apple fruit extract, & apricot seed powder. Apricot seed is supposed to make hair softer and help to prevent dryness. The product has a light, pleasant scent, a white creamy consistency, & is a thicker consistency than the Triple Nutrition Conditioner. I've been using several hair conditioning samples to clean out my cupboard. I have normally dry, curly, color-treated hair that fights fly-aways. I usually wash my hair once or twice a week, depending on how it feels. Otherwise, my hair is too dry. The previous conditioner sample I tried two days ago REALLY dried my hair & scalp out making my scalp extremely itchy & actually painful. After using Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Conditioner, I applied Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition 3-Minute Undo to my scalp & hair. Since my hair was so dry, I applied two packets to my hair, worked it to the roots, & combed it through. The product felt a little gritty. I applied heat using my blow dryer for 5 minutes, & then rinsed the product out & allowed my hair to air dry. My scalp felt tremendously better. There was no greasy residue & all the "grit" had rinsed out easily. Some ends still were a little dry, but they were much better than before, so I'm hoping they improve with the next treatment.

Garnier Fructis 3 Minute Undo Dryness Reversal Treatment - grit?

3

The first thing that I noticed about Garnier Fructis 3 Minute Undo Dryness Reversal Treatment is that there are tiny gritty particles in it! They don't dissolve, and feel very odd when you're hoping to feel your hair get soft. Maybe the product was off or expired, but I couldn't find an expiration date on it. Overall, this product was good in that my hair did feel softer and less dry than when I use an everyday conditioner on it, but overall it wasn't any better than other similar drug store treatments like Aussie 3 Minute Miracle. The scent was the same, or very similar, as all of the Garnier Fructis line has. It was very thick and I had to add some more water to get all of my hair covered with it; it also takes longer to wash out. My hair did feel greasy after rinsing, but it did not feel that way after I dried it. My overall impression is that it is no better, but no worse than most of the deep conditioning products available in drug stores.

average treatment

I got this deep treatment with the shampoo. I like the smell and they made it look more natural because it a tan-ish color with brown speckles. But I found this product to be quite average. After shampooing with Garnier Triple nutrion shampoo, I dabbed the treatment into my hair then I made sure I got all of my hair. Even though they said it only takes 3 minutes, I decided to leave it in for thirty minutes. When it was time to take it out, I washed it out with warm water. Even though it felt a little bit softer when it was wet but when I dried it with a t-shirt, it felt...well just the same as it was before I did the entire process. Then when I tried to finger detangle, I barely could get my fingers through my hair! So I had to use a comb and put some of my leave-in conditioner to make it softer. Thank god this thing was cheap, because I'm not going to use this thing ever again. So I still have to continue my search for the perfect deep conditioner.

Eh......

When they discontinued my favorite deep conditioner, the 3-minute mask, I thought this would be the same thing. Maybe I'm doing this wrong, but it feels overly heavy for my hair, which is normal to fine/wavy. It may be best for really thick course hair.

Feels like there is tons of buildup.

1

I have been using the 3 minute undo treatment for a while now, hoping that I am doing something wrong which I can correct to make this product work. The 3 minute undo makes my hair feel like I have TONS of product on my hair. It feels like I have buildup, and it even makes it difficult to run a brush through my hair. I have tried rinsing extremely thoroughly, but to no avail. Since I tried this instead of my old standby (Pantene Pro-V beautiful lengths, as they now call it) I have been very disappointed. I can't wait to get rid of this bottle so I can go back to my tried and true Pantene Pro-V conditioner.

Garnier 3 minute - best DEEP conditioner WHEN applied with HEAT

5

I don't use this particular conditioner in the shower - I've tried but it doesn't do much for me. So I tried using it up as a deep conditioner and sooooo glad I did! I wash my hair first, slather on this Garnier Fructis 3 Minute Undo conditioner, put on a cheap plastic processing cap and sit under an electric heat cap for 30-45 minutes. I do this once a week, every week. (I got my heat cap at Sally's Beauty Supply and it is so worth the money.) Since I've been using the Garnier 3 minute as a Deep heat conditioner, my professional hairdresser says my hair is in excellent shape - soft and manageable! My hair is very thick, wavy, shoulder length and I get it cut every 8 weeks. I am 58 years old and I color my hair at home with Zoto's Age Beautiful. I would not be without this Garnier Fructis conditioner - the best deep conditioner on the market.

Garnier Fructis 3-Minute Undo...A really rich deep conditioner

4

I'm always in the market for new products that will do what no other product does.  When I bought this, I hadn't really tried a lot of the Garnier products.  I saw this in the store, and bought it because it was on sale and I had a coupon.  I'm pretty happy with it.  It smells great...the product says it contains "3 Nutritive Fruit Oils" (Olive, Avocado, and Shea) but I really can't tell which of these it smells like.  What I really like about this product is how rich it is.  Picture the Bath and Body Works body creams- RICH!  Putting this product on dry ends feels very luxurious. There is only one strange thing...this product contains apricot seeds "for extra nourishment".  While I appreciate all the nourishment I can get, I think it's a little odd to have little baby seeds in my luxurious deep conditioner! However, the seeds rinse out, and I have never had someone come up to me and say "Hey! You have an apricot seed in your hair!". The apricot seeds are the only reason I gave this Garnier deep conditioner 4 stars. It does make my hair soft, smooth and nourished.
