I am a professional cook. To find equipment such as this in the private sector is amazing. I have used quite a bit of different items, but this one blows them all out of the water. I enjoy it on a near weekly basis with my family,one of the best features is the easy clean up. Which being a family man such as myself is important. Also, as a Cook. I would like to add that I am unsure what Tech they use, but the oil seems to last longer in this model, which saves me money. And thats what ANY family wants to know. Performance It works above and beyond. I was very impressed. Ease of Use So easy a child could use it , if not for the hot oil. These could be used in tailgateing with ease. Durability I'm rough on items. Yet this thing has took a beating and keeps on working. Ease of Cleaning I love that this is soo easy to clean, saves me time and money.

The food would come out crispy and not soggy or dripping with loads of oil whenever I used it. Our favorite food item to make was chicken wings. I typically would throw a bunch in when we have guests over for football parties. I would take the wings out when they are done and then I cover them in different flavors of BBQ sauce. They were a hit and super easy to make and it let's me be part of the party rather than spending the whole time in the kitchen. I was skeptical though on how good it actually is for you because the product actually claims to knock out the fat. This to me seems a little far fetched in my opinion. It doesn't really matter though because after using it occasionally for about a year the basket would no longer lock in place and it would bang against the sides of the wall when spinning. Since the basket no longer locked anymore all the excess oil wasn't coming out and we were left with oily unhealthy food. This seems to be a good alternatively versus submerging whole foods right into the oil. I just don't think it is well built for excessive use or long term because there are just too many moving, spinning parts.

I wanted to purchase a deep fryer so that I could make fried chicken and other friend foods. I heard that George Foreman made good appliances, so I decided to give this one a try. It was definatly pricier than other deep fryers, but I liked several of the features. After using it a few times, I am very glad that I purchased this. I like that there is an adjustable thermostat and a timer, This makes cooking things a lot easier. I don't need to worry as much about either burning or undercooking the food. It is also very easy to clean up when I am done. Granted, there is grease, but this is to be expected with a deep fryer. Overall, I would recommend this deep fryer to anyone looking to buy a new one!

The infomercial was totally true on this.  Almost no grease left over after the spin.  I spin everything to the max.  My 8 year old fries chicken in it.  It is so safe and so dependable.  It's costly, but well worth the price.  You can probably buy 4-6 lesser quality fryers for the same price, but I wouldn't have nare one of them.

I literally drove around for nearly three hours from store-to-store because I knew this was the only Deep Fryer I wanted to purchase.  My family has been very pleased with the George Foreman GSF026B Deep Fryer with Smart Spin Technology.  We like the looks of the product and love the results.  The Smart Spin cycle definitely makes a huge difference in reducing the amount of oil in the food.  Foods are less greasy and have a great taste.  The kids actually enjoy helping prepare the meals when we use the George Foreman Deep Fryer. ****

The George Foreman GSF026B Spinning Deep Fryer is so awesome.  We actually got a great deal on it on Clearance, but knowing how good it is, I would have paid full price.  My husband and I were worried that the spinning might make the food taste bad, but it doesnt affect the taste at all! And if you dont feel like using the spin feature, you just don't turn it on.  All the parts come apart for easy cleaning, but as will any fryer, clean up is kind of a big job.
