The sweet Potatoes from Gerber was my sons favorite food to eat. He would rock back and forth waiting for the next bite. Every time I would feed him the sweet potatoes he would eat every single bite. Gerber organic sweet potatoes have no artificial flavors, food or preservatives. Gerber sweet potatoes give your baby two serving of vegetables. Gerber baby food gives your baby the nutrition they need to grow and be healthy. I love Gerber's container sweet potatoes. The easy snap lid makes opening and storing the baby food easier. I like the fact that you can store the container in the fridge and it won't leave a crusty ring around it, like the jar baby foods. Gerber second foods sweet potatoes are just a little bit thicker and more then the Gerber first foods sweet potatoes. I would recommend Gerber sweet Potatoes. I have never saw or heard a baby who don't like the sweet potatoes from Gerber. My son loves them and I am sure yours will too.

The rules for pesticides and herbicides used on fruit and vegetables intended for baby food is more stringent than the general market for fruits and vegetables, but it still gives you comfort of mind to buy organic when you are giving your baby their first foods. The price of the Gerber's organic baby food is quite reasonable too. Often I have found them on sale, and the double-containers is a fair amount of food. Unfortunately they are not available to WIC recipients, but they are affordable to at least supplement or purchase fruits and vegetables that are on the list of high pesticide and herbicide usage. The flavor isn't better or worse than any other baby food. The sweet potatoes actually kind of taste like tomato sauce to me, and so I sometimes put them on pasta for my toddler. One thing to be aware of is that this food definitely stains if you get it on clothing.

Having my first child to deal with..I have just started to run into the difficulties of dealing with a toddler comming up on her terrible twos. My daughter is 1 1/2 so she has started getting temper tantrums during mealtime..sometimes because she is picky and sometimes because she is stubborn and wants to do it (feeding) by herself. So needless to say I have been through MANY different types of foods and techniques to try to get her to eat. A great thing about this baby food is that she loves the taste of it so much that I can always rely on it for her to eat a meal. So if my husband and I decide to go out to eat or go on a long drive (Ie: vacation) then we ussually buy a few packs of these to have on hand to know our daughter will eat and be calm without huge temper tantrums erupting. I also love how these are packaged..the little tubs are convienent to me and are easy to just throw them away once they are empty.

My baby which just turned 7 month old loves gerber 1st foods sweet potatoe. She definitely like it i tasted it for myself and taste really good and delicious. Most of all, its safe for her cause she really adjust to it very well and she never had any diarrhea with it. At the first taste, i love the way she can't get enough with it,its actually her first food. Whats good with the gerber sweet potatoes is that aside from the fact that its a vegetable and organic, is the its packed with proteins and others for babies nutrition (you can read the labels to prove), So i do highly recommend it for all the moms there who wants nothing but the best for their babies. Like any other moms im making sure that anything that my baby takes is good for her and gives her nutrition for her growth and development, thats the number one factor for me to consider when choosing food for my baby, and gerber organic sweet potatoes is definitely my choice.

I love that Gerber has come out with an organic line of baby food products, I'm glad they finally listened to the wants of parents out there. I always loved Gerber because of their affordable price but I did not buy their baby food often because they didn't offer organic. Now that they do, I purchase their products often. My daughter is 6.5 months and loves sweet potatoes. The portion is just perfect for her. I like that the baby food comes in a plastic container instead of glass. In my area they do not recycle glass so it always goes in the trash. With these plastic containers I feel a little bit better about using the product because I know the containers can be recycled. The sweet potatoes have no added fillers or salt and they come out smooth and creamy on the spoon. Although sweet potatoes are a bit messy, I love being able to give my daughter veggies she enjoys as well. I hope Gerber continues to make more organic choices.

Gerber organic sweet potato omg this was my daughters favorite one. I tries giving her baked sweet potato at home but she never had that but gerber organic sweet potato she liked. Mostly I used to give sweet potato by mixing with any lentils, in that way she used to get her proteins.Also with rice she used to have.I have tried almost all the flavors of gerber for her. It tastes so nat ral and fresh that babies loves them.They are really very helpful for travelling and short trips.thats a Instant food which babies will love and most important they are healthy for them.

I do not give anything to a child that I have not tasted myself.  I like the sweet potatoes.  It smells sweet and tastes sweet too.  The baby I care for doesn't really like to eat baby food.  But when I give the sweet potatoes, I get not even one complaint, no fuss, no screaming, nor spitting out.  It is always a joy to feed a baby that is happy to eat the food. I usually give the sweet potatoes as a snack in the afternoon, but it can also be given during lunch or breakfast.  The sweet potatoes goes well with any meat (if your child is ready for meat, 9 months+).  Sweet potato has a greater amount of calories than the other Gerber's food, so it's  good for snack time for the extra boost of energy.  I think Stage 2 sweet potatoes has about 70 calories in each container.  If it seems like the child is not filled up with the sweet potatoes, you can add just a little rice cereal to the sweet potatoes. The negatives about the sweet potatoes are that (1) it stains cloths it makes contact with, especially whites.  But the good thing about whites it that you always bleach them. :).
