I absolutely love the lysol disinfecting spray, but I don't love the price. I was so excited when Great Value finally came out with a generic form that is much more economical and easy on the pocketbook. I compared all of the ingredients and they are the same. It even states on the back of the can that it kills all of the same germs as the name brand at a fraction of the cost. I learned after having three children that disinfecting spray is an essential, especially when they start school and begin to bring home all sorts of germs. We use this disinfecting spray on all hard surfaces any time any one in our house is sick. We also use it to spray down all the beds and pillows when changing the sheets, and we take it with us when we travel so we can spray everything in the hotel room. Scent The scent is wonderful. It lingers for a little while, but doesn't smell like a hospital. It is a very light and fresh scent. I really like it.

I have four little kids who all tend to get the stomach flu at least twice a year. When it strikes it is miserable for everyone within the house. Because of this, I have to keep some kind of disinfecting spray on hand at all times. I have chosen the Great Value Disinfecting Spray as our spray of choice because it was cheaper than the leading brand by about two dollers, it claims to disinfect surfaces in less time, and it still says it can kill up to 99.9% of bacteria in the air and on surfaces. I also feel like this spray smells slightly better than Lysol does. Lysol just has such a distinct smell, which when combined with sickness smells sometimes just nauseates you even worse. I definitely prefer the scent of the Great Value spray to Lysol's. I have used this spray on nearly every surface in my house at some point: door knobs, beds, countertops, kitchen counters, garbage cans, toilets, showers, closets, changing tables, and storage areas. It is effective everywhere!

We bought this spray to disinfect our bathroom, but as most generic band products it was pretty disappointing. It smells great, that's probably the best aspect of it. In fact we stopped using it as a disinfecting spray and use it as a scent spray after someone uses the bathroom. I compared it to just plain soap i have in my bathroom and they seemed to have about the same effectiveness. So this stuff works but I was really expecting it to clean deep and take up the germs and I guess you get what you pay for because this product is a bit cheaper than similar brands. After giving up on it as a disinfectant we also tried using it in the shower and general bathroom area to get rid of the mildew/mold smell. Like i said before it smelled great, but that was only at first. A few hours later i smelled the mildew and mold again. If you are just looking for a way to make the bathroom smell good after someone uses the toilet, than this is the way to go.

This Great Value disinfectant spray does a good job of disinfecting and cleaning surfaces. We usually use it extensively during cold and flu season to try to kill germs and prevent sickness around the house. In our experience, it has done a good job. It seems to kill germs quite well, and sickness in our house went down somewhat after we began using this product. Performance This product works well at disinfecting things around the house. Scent The scent of this product has some positives and negatives. On the positive side, it can kill other bad scents that are lingering in a room, so it does a good job of removing unpleasant smells that are already there. However, on the down side, it's own scent can be overwhelming and unpleasant if it is used in large quantities. If one uses this spray over a wide area, than it can be unpleasant and overwhelming to smell (although this scent is generally better than the other unpleasant scent that it had killed off).

This is a great spray sold at Wal-Mart. it is very similar to the Lysol Disinfecting Spray, although this product costs more than half less. So, for anyone on a budget who must watch every dime they spend, this is a great product to purchase. It really works to disinfect a variety of surfaces and protect from germs, allergies, bacteria and more. I use it on doors, door knobs and locks, in the kitchen and in the bathroom. This disinfectant has a great smell to it, and that is something that I like because oftentimes these sprays are very strong and sometimes overwhelming, to smell. It is easy to use, and the can has a lot of spray, so it seems to last forever and ever. I use this spray on a regular basis, and will continue to do so. I am confident that it is doing its job wonderfully, and since it costs so much less than the Lysol, we have a winner! This is a great product to keep your family and your home safe, and it provides a lot of peace of mind at thesame time. Highly recommended.

First off, I usually am not big on the smell of disinfectant sprays, they are usually way too strong and do not smell good at all but leave a smell in your house that you know it is clean and stuff, but makes you want to leave until it airs out a little bit. This is completely different than the rest and way better. The smell of it is actually pleasant for something that is killing all of your germs. It fills your house full and you still feel like you can actually breath, not gag when you take in a deep breath of it. It works great and disinfectants and kills all of the germs like any other brand does, but it makes it much more enjoyable to do and use. This is so easy to use and a must have in all of the rooms in your house, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms to keep nasty stuff from going and it is great at keeping mold away. With this it is easy to keep your home healthy and still enjoy the air around you.

Great Value disinfectant spray smells great and works very well. My favorite great value spray is fresh linen scent. It kills 99.9% of germs in 50 seconds which is stated on the can. I use this disinfectant on my garbage can, door knobs, exercise equipment and I spray it in the air around the house for freshness. The price is just right and I always have one can of spray under my kitchen sink and one underneath my bathroom cabinet as well.

Great Value Disinfectant Spray rivals Lysol's Disinfectant Spray and costs half as much, so why would you want to pay more? I have been using Great Value Disinfectant Spray for a couple of months now. We had to disinfect the house after my husband came down with a skin condition that the doctor couldn't pinpoint exactly and advised us to disinfect the house just to be safe. This measure would have cost me much more to carry out if I had bought the Lysol brand. However, in reading the labels on both products in the store, I went with the Great Value brand. Great Value Disinfectant Spray in Summer Scent kills 99.9% of germs in just 50 seconds. That pretty much sold me on the Great Value brand along with the nice and clean summer fragrance which smelled fresh. We used this product to disinfect all the furniture, pillows, etc. and car interiors. We didn't have any recurring problems after treatment and my husband's condition cleared up. Yeah, it may have run its course or my Great Value Disinfectant Spray may have killed off the germ. We will never know for sure, but I'm sticking with the Great Value brand for future use. It's just as good as Lysol! Performance The Great Value brand of disinfectant contains the same active ingredients that the Lysol brand carries and costs half the amount. I rate it at the top of the list because it works and it costs less. I win by having an effective product that saves me money. Scent The summer scent of this disinfectant spray is a very clean and fresh scent. I like the fragrance and the scent it leaves behind in my home. The scent is refreshing and lingers a bit in the air after spraying. I think this is a great fragrance for home use, as it reminds me of a nice spring day outdoors.

I am a bargain hunter. I hate spending more money than needed to get the same product just because it has a name brand. I have found that **Great Value Summer Scent Disinefctant Spray **(sold at Walmart)** **works just as well as Lysol disinfectant spray and it does not come with as big of a price. Like Lysol, Great Value Disinfectant spray also kills 99.9% of germs and this product does it 50 seconds. This spray also helps to prevent the growth of mold and mildew and it eliminates those foul odors. I mainly use this disinfectant spray in the kitchen to wipe down my counters after every time I do dishes or prepare a meal. From time to time, I also use it to wipe down my trash can, stove, and other major kitchen appliances. This spray is also safe to use in closets, hampers, plastic shower curtains, tiled walls, toilet areas, chairs, damp storage areas, desks, diaper changing tables, and several other areas.
