I'm not sure if I purchased a bad machine, but the Haier Top Load Washer was nothing but trouble from the start. The design and size of this machine complimented my kitchen appliances, but that's about it. On my first light load of laundry I experienced a lot of noise and rapid rocking against my cabinets. I found my self constantly starting and stopping the washer to move the clothes from around the agitator. I grew tired of doing this and just let it rock back and forth. Eventually the washer stopped and started to refill with water to re-balance. This happened a total of 5 times in a single washing cycle. When the rinsing cycle was complete I noticed that my clothes still had soap in them. I decided to rinse them again and they turned out fine. The next time I tried to use the Haier Top Load Washer I had the same problems, but this time around the washer stopped and didn't come back on for 10 minutes. I decided to return the faulty Haier Top Load Washer shortly after the last episode.

I can't recommend this washer. I bought this top loader as I was tired of cleaning out front loaders and the long wash cycles. This washer was very expensive but not worth a nickel. There were so many problems (below) that the repairman said were "normal" but the store gladly exchanged it. Energy Efficiency Lots of cycles to choose from and the cycles it didn't take as long to run as my front loader. But I didn't see any real difference in the electric bill, and I do 7-10 loads a week. Cleaning Time There are a lot of cleaning times to choose from and gets a little confusing. I kept it on one cycle for everything except the dedicates and heavy sheets. The average cleaning time was 35 minutes. Performance No matter what cycle I had it on it went from "sloshing" to "banging" to "whirring". Thought the top was going to break. The repairman said there was nothing wrong with the machine but the noise was unacceptable. There is no agitator in the drum yet my sheets still wadded in a ball and lifting them out was difficult. Ease of Use The drum is very deep and reaching for wet clothes was very difficult. Design Top heavy, bottom too deep, extremely noisy & banging. Features are difficult to understand. Durability When the store gladly exchanged it after 1 attempt to repair, I felt that was "enough said"

This was my second washing machine to own while living in Asia teaching English at a university. I lived in teacher housing, so my apartment was small, and my bathroom was even smaller. I had hoped that this Haier Top Load Washer would be a bit more gentle than my previous Haier washing machine. Sadly, the results was about the same. As far as spacial constraints, this machine is fantastic, but like my other washer, it tore up my clothes. Fun features included sounding like a spaceship was taking off during the spin cycle. At the end of the entire wash cycle, the machine played jingle bells...a nice and cheerful touch. I will say that the machine was quite durable and never needed any maintenance. Durability and toughness was great, which is perhaps why it was also so tough on my clothing. It is definitely built for smaller loads. Performance Rough on clothing. Ease of Use Easy to use Design Great for really small spaces. The hose/nozzle comes off easily though, too easily and can leak dirty water everywhere if not tightly installed.

I had this machine for two years and while it worked it did a wonderful job cleaning the cloths. It has an easy on and off hook up to the kitchen faucet. I believe it can also be hard piped to keep it in one spot. It has three cycle speeds and four cycle choices light, medium and heavy, and spin only. Energy Efficiency This machine did not use a lot of energy. I used it at least three time a week and it barely made a dent in my electric bill. Cleaning Time The machine time are shorter than that of a larger machine. It depends on water level, cycle choice and spin, on how long the machine can run. It can also be stopped by lifting the lid, which is convenient especially for that sock that forgot to make its way into the machine. Performance Great job for its small size. Though I would only add one towel or pair of jeans per load. It seemed to make the machine unbalances when more of each were added. Ease of Use Very easy to use, it comes on wheels to move from room to room. It compact shape also makes it possible to store in the closet. I had mine in the closet. Design Compact design is perfect for the single person, small apartment and a great alternative to going to the laundry mat for smaller loads. Durability The machine broke after 19 months and while I was disappointed I did not get another. For the price I paid I broke even by saving at the laundry mat.

This little washer was a time saver when I lived in an apartment. Even though we had an air conditioned laundry room available to use this was well worth the expense. It was nice and quite. I could never understand why I couldn't have a washing machine but we had a dishwasher installed in the apartment. The clothing would come out clean and fresh smelling. Then off to the elevator and into the dryer. A lot of time was saved by washing the clothes in my apartment. I would soak the whites in the machine for an hour then continue the cycle. The machine is on wheels. You can also view your clothes washing. I could never get the hose to attach properly to my kitchen sink. My neighbor also had the same washer. I saw the box out in the hall before it was carted away. Our bathrooms share the same line so it would backup on occasion. The building was erected in the 80's as a luxury building so the plumbing is not ancient. So word of caution. I could not hear the machine running but I could hear the water filling up in the machine if it's quite. It's a tough machine that sometimes liked to dance when the load is unbalanced. So I would have to body slam the top of the machine to hold it in place.

I love this washer. It hooks up to your faucet like a portable dishwasher does. I use mine everyday. You just can's put as many clothes into it at once, as you can a regular washer. But it works great. I don't know why it took me so long to finally buy one. Energy Efficiency My electric bill has not gone up after getting this washer, from what is was before. Cleaning Time Different settings for different cleaning needs. It seems I just get set down after putting in clothes and it is time to get up and take them out. I love it! Performance Best washer I have ever had! I would highly recommend this washer to anyone who needs a washer in a small space, but it works really well. Great for small loads. Ease of Use The easiest washer around. Even if you have a large family, this washer is great for small emergency loads. For just a few things at a time. If you just want to do a small load of baby clothes. Or just you underclothes. It actually washes your clothes faster than a regular washer does. Design I have a very small bathroom, but I have room for my washer. Fits into a very small space, but has rollers in case you can't keep it next to your sink. Just roll it up to the sink and hook it up. When finished, just roll it back to wherever you keep it. very easy to roll. Even grandma can roll it. Durability I have had my washer for over a year with no problems. Just don't put a big load like you would a full size washer, it might not handle it. I haven't tried. I love my washer too much.

I was initially skeptical about buying this washer, only because some of the reviews I previously read talked about problems with shipping and malfunctions on the machine. I ordered the product from a big box store website and it was delivered in about a week. Took a little bit longer in my opinion, but nothing worth getting upset over... The machine I received did have a couple of dents in it. And the bottom cover wouldn't fit. The sink adapter was also a little tricky to hook up, so make sure if you buy this, that everything is TIGHT! Otherwise, the machine works great. Washes great. I bought the Haier portable dryer to go with it. Great little set. Does the job well. The washer does a great job, lets you know when the spin cycle is coming. Not very portable though, the other smaller model has casters, so that was a little bit of a let down... but otherwise, I can put in at least 5-6 pairs of junior/ womens jeans and some odds and ends clothing and wash it all. The washer was surprisingly bigger than I thought it would be. I also do a nice load of whites with ease, no bleach though. Great little machine. It by far beats having to lug all of my clothes up and down the stairs and out to the laundromat with my small child in tow. Definitely worth the money!

I love this washing machine. Not only does it fit in my rather small apartment, it is quiet and works amazingly well. The clothes come out perfectly clean! It hooks up easily to my sink faucet . It has several different cyles and water levels and it is the best thing I purchased in a long time! No more running to the laundrymat for me, this washer is PERFECT for any apartment or home with out a regular washer hookup. Five stars!!!!!!!!!!

I love this thing. I honestly thought small compact washing machines did not exist. Well one day I stumbled across this and I decided to buy it and give it a try, I did not find any reviews out there at the time so I said ehwhat the heck worse case scenario I can turn it back in for a refund. So the way this works is it connect to the faucet and I made a special attachment to use hot and cold water. I have had no issues with it and I high would recommend this to anyone who is in need of a compact washing machine for their apartment without going outto do laundry. It is small so you cant wash a huge or full load like most washing machines this is designed for a few shirts or pants nothing really large like a big blanket. I am happy with the overall results this washing machine produces. Portability and affordability.

This is the best washer I ever had. I bought it when my son was born and we lived in small two bedroom apartment. All laundry came out perfectly clean a good smelling. I was little worried about electric but my bill was actually absolutely same like without a washer. I love it and recommending to everyone.
