The Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juice Extractor is the first juicer that I have ever had, so I do not have anything to compare it to. It does save me money on juice, however it is a pain in the neck to clean. I also do not like that you have to peel some of your fruits before you put them in the juicer. It is a little loud too, so I have to turn it off to hear my children. It seems to be pretty durable, but I do not use it that much anymore. I am a big fan of most Hamilton Beach products, but I do think this particular juicer could use a bit of work. I like that you can use it for vegetables too though. I am always forgetting to by tomato juice. I do not know if other juicers are better than this one, but I intend to shop around in the near future to find out. I suppose it is not too bad of a buy for the first juicer I have owned, though. It is cheap, so I suppose I got what I paid for on this one. If you have never owned a juicer, I would suggest you get one a little pricier than this one. Perhaps you will have better luck.

The Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juicer is an inexpensive option for people who want a basic juicer. It doesn't do anything special, but it does what it is supposed to do pretty well. In the long run it saves money when you are able to make your own juice. Buying some Tropicana can be pretty pricey. And with this you can make any kind of juice that you want. This thing can be pretty loud though, but it shouldn't be too much of a big deal for anyone. I like the nozzle that the juice comes out of as well, which keeps it clean into the glass. You do have to peel some of the fruits you want to use before putting them in to juice. It also works well with vegetables. Ease of Cleaning Not the easiest to clean, takes a little effort to do it. Versatility/Number of Features There is not that much for you to do besides get juice. Look elsewhere if you want some fancy features. Design Again it is basic in the looks department. It fits in well with other appliances though.

I have to say that I have previously and in the past purchased and used this Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juice Extractor and found that it works wonderfully. I have been a little late in the juicer/juicing game and then I finally decided to try it and purchased this product. I am so amazed at all the things I can juice. This product works very well at juicing fruits and vegetables and making wonderful juice drinks full of vitamins and good taste. I do have to say I like how it has a spout where you can put the juice in the cup. That is very convenient and makes it less messy that having to pour it into a container. I can say that one of the negative things about this Hamilton Beach Big Mouth juice Extractor is that it is a little hard to clean up and get it really clean. It requires a bit of arm muscle use. Also this is not real expensive but also not really cheap either. It definitely does the job and I am happy with it. I would certainly recommend that all of my friends and family try it.

I received this juicer as a gift a year and a half ago and have used it every so often. Its still working just like the day I received it. It does the job very well, everything you'd expect a juicer to do at a reasonable cost. It is quite loud when you run it. I'm not sure how this compares to other juicers as this is the only one I've ever owned. You do have to peel and core apples and also skin oranges and things of the sort before adding them into the juicer. Again, maybe this is standard. Not sure again as this is my first juicer. My children have fun making their own juice from apples or oranges. I do feel that when you add lighter things like lettuce or kale that it just spits out most of it without taking much of the juice from it. All and all a good juicer for the cost.

We juice every morning, and can't afford a bigger juicer. This gets the job don fairly well. It could definitely be more powerful/better at extracting juice. But for the price, it is well worth it for the health benefits. It is easy enough for my toddler to help me operate.

I had really high hopes for this machine. Purchased 6 months ago and it broke within one month. I used it mainly to make carrot and apple juice. I even cut the pieces up even though I didn't have to most of the time but after one month the motor broke. just died on me. Couldn't return it to the store and when I called HB they said there was nothing they could do. Other than that it seemed like a really good piece of equipment. It made the juice quickly and the pulp that was left behind I used in muffins (mainly the carrots) and other baked goods which was a really nice bonus. It seemed like a really solid piece of equipment as long as you get one that has a good motor.

I got this as a gift a while ago. When I first received it, I would thinking to myself," I already have a blender, why do I need a juicer?" Well, after using this a few times to make apple juices, veg juices and all kinds of fresh fruit juices, I have changed my mind. This is a good old juicer that can squeeze all the good nutrition out of fresh fruits. In other words, I am getting all the good stuff for my body. This juicer is easy to use but the motor is loud. At least the juicer has a good motor and it is heavy and it can avoid it from tipping over or move along my counter top. I love this juicer so far. The only bad thing about this is it does not come with a special cup for the juicer. I guess I have a good size cup that I can use with this juicer. So it is not too much of a problem at all afterall.

This juicer is decent for someone who would like to juice occassionally and/or is on a budget and can't afford a higher quality juicer. I used this juicer a few times, but it wasn't quite at the quality that I was looking for. This juicer did not leave my pulp as dry as I thought it should have which means that I was not getting all of the juice out of my produce for my money. All other features worked very well and I do have to agree that it is a good juicer for what you are paying. If you want a juicer to use occassionally or just don't have the money for a higher powered juicer, I would recommend starting with this model. Hamilton Beach doesn't disappoint. Ease of Cleaning All juicers are somewhat difficult/time consuming to clean. Design Big mouth version may be better.
