This is so nice for juicing vs smoothies. I love using this for apples and carrot juices. It leaves a pile of the pulp behind which you just toss out. I wish cleaning it was a little easier and it is a little bulky for a small apartment but it's a good juices

This blender doesn't crush ice very well, and doesn't blend shakes and ice cream great either. I would recommend it for cocktails and food blending though- it works great for that! Good value for the money, but if you're looking to make shakes or crush ice, get one specifically made for that.
