I have dandruff problems due to which my hair keeps falling and it appears split and dry. Head & Shoulders has proved to be the best dandruff shampoo and I only trust this shampoo for my hair. This product of Head & Shoulders works helps to cure for dandruff in the hair caused due to the dust particles in the atmosphere. I purchased this product two months back from a medical store. After applying this shampoo, I let it remain in the hair for about 15-20 minutes to let it act. I wash my hair with this shampoo thrice a week and I have noticed that my hair does not feel itchy and the hair does not break. The shine of the hair is retained and the quality of the hair has improved a lot. The product has a mild scent. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with the product but still I am looking out for a product that can not only give me relief from the dandruff of my hair but also make it silky and smooth.

Anyone who had used anti-dandruff shampoo knows your hair is often left a bit dryer than you would like and may not be as shiny as you want. Head & Shoulders Restoring Shine Shampoo works well at removing dandruff from your scalp, leaving your hair fresh and deep down clean. This shampoo will not over dry your hair and helps maintain some of the natural shine many anti-dandruff shampoos can strip away over time. For an anti-dandruff shampoo it is fantastic product that does the job you need while giving you the shiny hair you want. Most normal shampoos will do a better job of keeping in the moisture but as far as anti-dandruff shampoo goes this is a great compromise. Overall, I give it an 8 since it is not 100% effective at keeping in the moisture and the scent is not my favorite. Effectiveness Head & Shoulders Restoring Shine Shampoo does a great job of deep cleaning your hair and scalp while fighting the number one downfall of most anti-dandruff shampoo's - loss of shine. Your hair will maintain more of its natural shine while being dandruff free. Scent Head & Shoulders Restoring Shine Shampoo smells pretty good for an anti-dandruff shampoo but is not as pleasant as most regular shampoos.

As far as anti-dandruff shampoos, Head & Shoulders is simply the best. It is very effective, working immediately to get rid of your dandruff for good. Quick relief is important when you have dandruff. My scalp gets so irritated when I have dandruff, but when I use Head & Shoulders, it removes the dandruff and the irritated skin. It is inexpensive with the price being about the same as other shampoos. The smell is not the best, but when you have a dandruff problem, that is probably the last priority in a shampoo you are looking for. I get dandruff every now and then and I always use Head & Shoulders. The Restoring Shine is better than the Classic. It leaves a noticeable shine in your hair, making it look prettier and healthier. I was worried about it making my hair look oily, but that was not the case. This shampoo leaves your hair shiny and dandruff free. What more do you need from an anti-dandruff shampoo?

I have always used head and shoulders. I have tried the different types of shampoos. I really like the way they all work. I feel like my hair gets really clean when I use this shampoo. Also, it is not just my hair, I feel like my scalp is clean. I like the smell also. The smell is clean and not overpowering. I recommend this shampoo even if you do not have dandruff. It is a great shampoo. It makes my hair smell clean and fresh. My hair also looks very shiny and healthy. Effectiveness It is effective if you have dandruff. I do not have dandruff but I still use it and I really like the way it makes my hair look. I really like the clean feel of my hair after using this shampoo. My scalp gets dry and this shampoo makes my scalp feel really good. Scent This shampoo has a really nice smell. The smell is clean and not overpowering. My hair smells great after I use this shampoo. It smells nice for a while after it dries.

I like this anti-dandruff shampoo because it does a great job of stopping flakes and itchiness associated with dandruff. I like the consistency and it lathers up quickly and thick which feels good. The shampoo rinses easily and does not leave a residue. After a few uses I noticed fewer flakes and the itchiness went away. I also noticed that my hair was shinier as promised, which is a nice bonus. My hair felt healthy and soft after using it consistently. I dislike the high price of this shampoo but would rather use it over paying for a cheap generic brand (although I do use one generic brand rarely). Effectiveness Helped alleviate dryness and flakes after a few uses and consistently does so with consistent use. Really helped take away the itchy feeling. Scent Good scent that is not too heavy and does not stay on your hair and conflict with perfume. The scent is "clean" and not chemical-like which I have noticed with other dandruff shampoos.

Head and Shoulders is the only shampoo my roommate uses, so when I bought her this to try, she used it without a second thought, only to remark the next day how wonderful and shiny her hair was. She's asked me to buy it for her every time she runs out, now. Effectiveness It really brings new life to hair - smooth and shiny like no other Head and Shoulders brand or flavour managed before - and yet it still fights dandruff and energises the scalp. It really seems to clean the scalp with gentle strength, washing away, without stripping, the buildup and oils, while encouraging the scalp to great the oil which gives a natural shine to our hair. Scent It doesn't smell quite as nice as some of the others out there, but it's not nearly as medicinal in scent as the original Head And Shoulders, so I'm glad for that. This scent could still use some softening, though, as it's a bit sharp, even once it's been washed out.

I've been using Head & Shoulders Restoring Shine for about a month now. I started using it when winter hit and the dry air started making my scalp and skin itch. First, the fragrance: I generally don't like alot of frangrance in shampoos or conditioners. I don't want the shampoo companies deciding how I smell all day. I just asked my husband to smell my hair and tell me what it smelled like. He said it smells like "clean hair". Perfect. It has a light floral smell, but it's not overpowering, so I appreciate that. My hair is very fine and thin and this shampoo doesn't way it down. I have nice volume after I blow dry it.   While this shampoo doesn't give a huge lather, that's fine with me. I've read that what they have to put into shampoos to make them lather is harsh on skin, so I'm not concerned with lather. I just rub it around and as long as it cleans my hair, I'm good with that. That being said, this does clean my hair quite nicely. And it does give it a nice shine. I don't know if it's particularly shinier than after I use other shampoos, but it's not worse. My hair looks clean and shiny afterwards, and best of all it helps make my scalp stop itching. And that is exactly what I was looking for when I bought this shampoo.

My husband has been using Head & Shoulders shampoos exclusively for as long as I can remember. I will occasionally pick up a bottle of one of the more expensive brands, like Selsun Blue, if I have a coupon. When I do that, he always writes  Head & Shoulders on the shopping list.  It must work great because he never had dandruff. He must have at some point in his life, because he will not switch to a regular shampoo. He's paranoid, I guess.  I like to tell him that he's never had a bad hair day in his life, and he knows it's true.    Head & Shoulders makes wonderful products, but I have to say that standing in front of the display trying to choose a formula can be exhausting. I really wish they could simplify this a little. Shiny hair or more body? Decrease flyaways or add volume? Sheesh, all I know is that this is the brand he wants and that he doesn't need a two-in-one shampoo and conditioning formula. No matter which formula I've purchased he has always been happy, but this Restoring Shine is what I've chosen the past few times I've shopped for it.    I don't consider H&S to be too expensive. The bottles are very large and last forever. One thing I'll mention is that the flip-up l id on this bottle has broken off. It just couldn't hold up to the heavy use it gets over a long period of time. I might consider a smaller bottle for this reason.

Head & Shoulders Restoring Shine Shampoo really does what it says.  I've been a Head & Shoulders user for most of my adult life because it has proven to be the most effective product for controlling my dandruff.  This particular formula of the shampoo not only solves my dandruff problems, but it leaves my hair squeeky clean and shinny.  I'm in my 60's and have very long, color treated hair.  I also blow dry and use hot rollers in my hair.  You would think that my hair would be damaged, but thanks to Head & shoulders Trestoring Shine Shampoo it is not.  People are always asking me how I keep it so healthy.  My routine could not be more simple.  I shampoo daily with Head & Shoulders Restoring Shine Shampoo and finish with the companion Head & Shoulders Restoring Shine Conditioner.  Other dandruff shampoos leave my hair feeling dull and lifeless.  This product makes my hair feel silky and gives it great sheen.

*head&shoulders 2in1 restoring shine with natural plant extracts, says it restores natural shine to dull hair.  I like  Head&shoulders shampoo usually.  I bought the 2in1 because I like the idea of shampoo & conditioner in one bottle.  While it helped with controlling my dandruff, it didn't restore any shine to my hair.  It did however make my face break out!  At least it smelled good!
