I used this gel as a twist-out styler, just to see if it would work on my hair type. While it worked beautifully, there was one problem--flaking in the hair, caking closer to the scalp. If you're adding to your hair to style, take it from me--a little bit will do it. For the naturals, take this advice. It goes in the hair with great slip while wet, sets a twist nicely, unravels into twisted and coiled perfection--but will flake and flake days later. You'll have a winter wonderland in your tresses. Aside from having to balance use to avoid flaky hair, this product is wonderful. Smells good, is creamy and easy to apply, and the after-effects are marvelous. First day twists come out perfectly coiled and ready to be teased and taken apart. The hair is soft, a little frizzy, but not a complete mess. Once hair reaches that second and third day, curls are still there and behave beautifully. As the week goes on, depending on your hair type, the curls stretch out. They get fluffier and thicker, but still maintain their shape. With this creme, I barely had to retwist my hair. As a matter of fact, my coils and curls were still there until wash day.

I have the worst frizzy hair since I gave birth to my two kids. I have tried so many products from the cheap brands to the salon brands and I love this cream that comes in a tub. I don't have the really boucy curls but I have really wavy hair. This product allows me to calm down the frizz with I use a hair dryer or if I let it air dry. It is in a great tub container where you can put your fingers into it to get the exact amout of product that would be perfect for you hair length. It does not leave it sticky or stiff. It keeps the shape and leaves your hair soft to the touch and keeps the hold all day long. The frangrance is great too. So this product is a keeper and I will always keep this product in my house.

I have been using this product for about a year now. It is hands down the best product I have found for my particular type of hair. I have long, straight hair and I normally just wear it down. I have a lot of trouble with flyaways, and have tried everything to control them. The only thing that has really worked in the past is hairspray, but I can't stand the way that makes my hair look and feel. With this product, I take a dollop on my finger, rub it between both palms, and run my hands through my hair, and then pat the top down. I run my brush through my hair again, and it comes out perfectly shiny, with NO flyaways. The other thing I love about this product is the fact that it keeps my hair looking shiny and fresh all day. However, it doesn't make it look greasy or crunchy or anything like that. It is simply perfect, and a bargain when it is on sale. I hope they never stop making this product, I don't know what I would do without it!

Herbal Essences "tousle me softly" finishing cream is AWESOME. I finally found a produc that controls my frizz, is easy to apply, and doesn't make my hair hard and sticky.  I use it with the "tousle me softly" mousse ususally and it makes styling my hair so simple. I'm an active person so I don't have time to be taming flyaways and using lots of products. I simply just work a small amount of this finishing cream through my damp hair and I'm done! I also have used it on damp hair before blow drying and look is even more natural and soft. I also have used it on dry hair to tame stubborn hairs and do quick touchups. Basically this product has many uses and it is fantastic for all my hair issues. I have wavy, thin hair and so it is important that my hair is not weighed down. I need my hair looking full and light, yet controlled. So the fact that it leaves my hair soft, shiny, and full is why I love using this. I also love the smell of the product. It has a violet scent that smells great like every herbal essences product. Bottomline: BUY IT.

       I really like this tousle me softly finishing touch cream.  The first thing that I like about it is the way it smells.  It has a slight floral fragrance to it that I really like.  Next is the texture, it's soft not gooey and runny like some other creams are.  Third I love that herbal essence is so good about putting coupons in the paper.  You can usually find coupons for buy a shampoo and get a styling product free and this is one of their styling products.  Fourth I love how it takes charge of my hair.  I have frizzy hair so what I do is blow dry and then straighten my hair.  Then I put some of the cream on my fingers and rake it through the ends of my hair.  It gives it a little weight so that my hair won't fly into my face.  I also use it around my face because that is where I usually have flyaways and it gets rid of them no problem.  I think this is a great product and its a bonus to be able to get it at a great price.

I have tight spiral curly hair and it has always been tough to get it to look good.  It either does not have enough styling product in it and is frizzy and out of control or the styling product is too heavy and it is weighed down and crunchy.  I am constantly trying new products and when I came across this one I was pleasantly surpised.  It tames my hair and smooths the frizz while staying nice and soft.  I was amazed! My husbands like it as well since he can actually touch my hair and it feels like hair not like plastic. It also smells great and is easy to use!  There are a couple downsides though.  It does not perform well when it is above average humidity.  My hair still gets very frizzy in that weather and needs something a bit stronger.  There is also the cost.  It is a bit more expensive then the other products I have used.  If I did not have such thick hair and needed to use so much of it, it would not be so bad but as I do I can go through the container pretty quickly!  Other than that I would definately recommend this product to anyone who wants a great product that will keep their hair inline but still wants it to feel and look like hair!

This product has truely changed my hair. After i get out of the shower, i just place a quarter sized amount in my hair and i truely see an difference. my hairs normally thick and wavy and frizzy the product keeps it wavy but smooths it down with few fly aways
