I have only used this site on one occasion but I must say that I am beyond thrilled with it. The design of the site is appealing, and it is so very easy to use. Those are always pluses when you want to book a flight or hotel. You can enter the travel details right on the home page, and instantly get the best offers on your destination. If you prefer, hit the tab at the top of the page to learn the best travel deals available from Hipmunk. You can sort the hotels with various criteria, such as the star rating or the type of property that you want to stay at. There are also several travel and city guides on the site which make it easy to learn more about the most popular areas in the world, Like Miami. As far as prices are concerned, I have found hipmunk to have some of the lowest out there. I always compare before I book, and while i have only booked once with the site, I have compared several times and found their rates low.

Its very simple to navigate and find the best flight choices. I love the fare alerts email - it's actually accurate unlike some others I have tried! Its really cool that you can also look at vacation rental options in addition to hotels. It's also really cool that I can research on my tablet in the Hipmunk app and when I go to my desktop computer, it saved my searches.

I first visited hipmunk because their logo is adorable and I had seen an ad for them. I was glad that I has visited! The site compares a variety of other travel sites (such as expedia, priceline, booking.com) so you are able to see a multitude of options and pick the one that is best for you. Aside from the basic search for hotels and airfare, they also have city guides. You can also sign up to get emails from them that offer special deals and promotions. Overall, a great travel resource that everyone should check out before booking their next trip. Features There are a lot of great features. Among my favorite is the "city guides" for many major US and European cities. They give you basic information about the city, a listing of the neighborhoods and major attractions. You can easily figure out where that neighborhood is in relation to everything else in the city and then find hotels right near the attraction or neighborhood that is most interesting to you. I also like the deals link where you can chose your departure city and it lists some of the best fare deals over the next two weeks leaving from your city. This is perfect if you want to take a last minute trip or procrastinate in making vacation plans. The one thing I don't like is that they have links to "neighborhood guides" and I was expecting specific information about attractions. Instead, it just takes you to a list of hotels in the neighborhood and a list of points of interest.

In addition to using the Hipmunk website, I also signed up for the emails that are generated by the site. These emails are a nice additional feature that augments the material on the website. The material is timely and enticing. For example, the most recent emails dealt with July 4th celebrations including the best cities and hotels. Relative to the actual webpage itself, I have found it to be comprehensive and up to date on deals and information. One of the sections I use frequently is the Hipmunk City Guides. I visit San Francisco regularly and the Hipmunk guide is spot on with the information it provides. I have "ground" tested it and can attest to its veracity. The only area I have had difficulty with is the Deals button in the upper ribbon bar. Sometimes it will work seamlessly and at other times it delivers the dreaded 404: Not found error. That can be frustrating. However, when I can connect with the Deals, I have found them to be really beneficial. Overall, it is a good website and I highly recommend subscribing to receive the additional content.

This site will help you find hotels and book flights quickly. I was able to find hotels by typing in the city I wanted to travel to. I also typed in the days that I wanted to travel as well. I was given a lot of choices and rates. I like the way this site lets me compare rates from other sites easily. It is "not" time-consuming like other sites can be. The prices are displayed accurately and quickly, so it doesn't take long for me to make up my mind. It is easy to use and the prices overall are better than other sites. I was very impressed with the graphics and the detailed information they presented to me. I get e-mail updates so I always find the best deals. It isn't a hassle for me if I need to change my plans. They send me the revisions I make right away. The customer service is always friendly. This site is perfect for personal or business travel. The choices are many and the deals are great. This site isn't well known. I found out about it from a paid-to-try site, and I'm glad I did. This online travel site is better than others, so I highly recommend "Hipmunk.com".

I heard about hipmunk through a friend and just last week I purchased four round trip plane tickets from NC to NJ through this site for an upcoming family trip this spring for my cousins wedding! If I had known about this site years ago I would have been using it all along! It was very simple to find flight information for the days I would be traveling. This site makes it so easy to compare flight times, layovers, airports, and prices across all the different air lines which is great, it takes a lot of the work out of finding the best flight for my trip for the best price. I managed to get all my plane tickets at about half the cost thanks to hipmunk! I loved how all the information was well organized and presented in graphs and being able to select and purchase tickets was effortless as well. I would highly recommend this website for booking air line travel, it's one of the best I have used.

When I first started booking online travel I was a user of Orbitz.com and Hotwire.com. Over the years they have both decreased in ease of use, customer service and bargains. I now occasionally use these sites to compare prices, but overall was done with these bargain/easy websites. Enter hipmunk.com! I was at first intrigued by the adorable name. Catchy and cute, although nothing to do with travel led me to believe it might be different. Once on the website I LOVED that the primary default was by Agony, the amount of time/layovers/prices all balled up to suggest the best flights. You can also sort by all the traditional options. The website doesn't seem to have any bargains, but the Agony feature alone is enough to make me keep coming back for more. It is a wonderfully useful tool! The other wonderful thing about this website was the lack of advertising! The website is easy to use, and I am not sifting through advertisement to find the results I am looking for. You can also select to compare prices with other travel sites. Hipmunk.com is restoring my faith in travel booking!
