I love having this heating and cooling pad. It does a good job at easing the pain in my lower back. I like that you can choose the temperature to fit your needs. I am so grateful that my sister gave this to me.

I bought my *Homedics Large Heating Pad * several years ago after hurting my back in a car accident. I took it to work with me to warm the heat away while I sat in my chair and it was a huge help. Since then, it has helped ease the pain of my husband's kidney stones and aches and pains when he fell from a ladder 15 feet onto our wooden deck and lots of other pain and soreness from yard work or overexertion. It's got a very long cord and heats up quickly so if you're in pain, heat relief is just a few minutes away anywhere from low to high heat. I even use my heating pad to heat up my hair coloring (I use henna so it has to be in a warm environment), kept kittens warm, kept sick, dying cats warm, we've used it to make beer and raise bread dough. The cover removes easily and can be machine washed and tumbled dry. This heating pad is great. I really should get another one as we use it all the time, not just for pain or cold.
