I bought the Honeywell HEPAClean Tower Air Purifier HHT-080 mainly to use in the spring/summer/fall because in the winter I use a humidifier that filters the air. So being I have two dogs, I thought that especially having a HEPA type air purifier would really help the air quality of my home. It does a pretty good job but note that it will not keep up with all rooms. I suggest having several if you really want to see a difference in the air quality. Also, not sure why, but it left a dark mark on my carpeting where it blows the air out so beware of that. All in all I have been please with the air purifier and even bought a second one for the bedroom area of my home.

My husband purchased the Honeywell HHT-080 Air Purifier for me because of my allergies. I have allergies to dogs and since I was dead set against getting rid of my loving companion when I developed allergies to him I had to start making other lifestyle changes. My husband and I were both tied of me sneezing and blowing my running nose every time I came home. We read about other air purifiers but decided on the Honeywell because it seemed to cover all of the bases we needed covered. Since the purchase my sneezing has started to decrease. It has not gotten rid of all of my allergies but it certainly has helped to diminish them. It took a little while to get used to the "white noise"; the noise that the machine makes when it is running. It was hardest to get to used to it when I was trying to get to sleep, but after a week or so it was as if the machine was not even in the room.

I decided to buy the first air purifier of my life and decided on a Honeywell HHT 080 that I am very happy with. There is no second opinion about the fact that it does purify the air and does it pretty well. The amount of dust in my home has gone down dramatically and I no longer need to spend all the Saturday mornings vacuuming the apartment. This leaves me with time to think about stuff other than cleaning. I am very allergic to dust and used to have red eyes in the morning quwite often because of my dust allergy. After bringing home the purifier, I have noticed that my allergy attacks have gone down significantly and it is proof of the fact that the Honeywell works great. I read in earlier reviews that the machine makes a lot of noise, but I don't find the noise that much. It is a possibility that the company might have worked on the noise problem, but it doesn't seem like a problem any more.

I purchased this air purifier about sixty days ago and it does a great job at cleaning the air. My only complaint is that it can be noisier than I would like if it is set on medium. I have always bought Honeywell products and have never been disappointed. We even smoke in our home and guests never know it! My kitchen and family room are open to each other,so I decided to put it between the rooms. I cook almost every meal at home and this air purifier takes the smells out fast, even if I am cooing with tuna or salmon. The housekeeping is easier because i now have half the dust. I will be moving it to my bedroom and purchasing a larger one for my kitchen/family room, though. This size would be better suited for a 14' X16' room. Before I bought this one, I bought a very large Honeywell for my salon and it does a great job of cleaning the odors and dust. You can't go wrong with this purchase, just keep the pre-filter clean. A sweeper works great for this.

This Air Purifier really did almost "save" my life. I had surgery on my right shoulder and was home recovering. We had a slow leak from the upstairs bathroom that was dripping down on to the living room ceiling. You could not see it until it got quite a lot of water and soaked the ceiling. (which we did not discover until later on). I could smell something and just could not find out what was causing this awful odor.  Of course my husband COULD NOT smell a thing. The smell got worse and so did I. It got to the point that I had trouble breathing and sleeping was a chore with my shoulder all wrapped in gauze and tape plus in a sling and that SMELL! When we finally discovered what was the problem, my husband went and got this wonderful Honeywell Air Purifier. It has this great HEPA-Type Filter that cleans the air as it passes through and it is washable. No need to keep buying filters. The unit can rotate or be stationary which ever you want or need. It even has an Ionizer feature which helps boost the performance of the air purifier and helps freshens the air. And with that BAD smell we had we needed all the help we could get. It took about a week to get all the smell out of our house.  Plus we has a plumber come in about the drip from the bathroom. Guess what it was?  You know around your tub where there is a seal between it and the wall, well we had some open areas and water was getting in from our showers. Warning make sure your tub is sealed!!

This honeywell air purifier is super easy to operate and really works. There is so much less dust in my apartment i can't believe it. I honerstly feel like I am breathing fresher air and the surfaces of items like the computer and tv screens remain cleaner for a longer time. I purchased two of these and will be getting one more.The air quality improvement is great. So far it appears to be working as advertised. My Husband's coughing as almost ceased completely.We put one where we spend the most time family room and bedroom. We have two dogs and it has cut down, noticably on the amount of dust and animal dander. Our house is easier to keep clean and my allergies are 100% improved. worth the cost Excellent. Works perfectly and does it's job.Cleans and refreshens the air beautifully completely removes all cigarette smoke and allergens from room. My sinus problems have improved tremendously.
