(My specific model is the HZ-336, and it's white.) I really like this heater. It does what it should, and warms up pretty quickly. First off, it does NOT have any safety features. So if you have small children or pets, beware! If you knock it over, it will continue providing heat. I have not had any issues with this, and it doesn't get super hot (while on the power setting I use), but it's worth mentioning, since some brands have features that shut off the heater if it falls over or is lifted up. Secondly, I would recommend you do not use it on full blast. When you press the power button again after it's on, it goes to low power (indicated by a I mark instead of II ) rather than shutting off. If you are using other outlets around the heater, this will prevent it from blowing a fuse. All in all, a great little heater. But it might not be the best one to use in some homes.

This little heater is good for a small to a medium sized room,mine is medium.It does warm things up and fairly quick which is great. I have had it for almost 4 years now and it still works good however I just realized a few days ago that the cord when I went to unplug it was quite hot.So I don't feel quite safe now knowing that or that it's safe leaving it running, for 2-3 hours ,during the day or night when it's cold. Instead I use the timer now, which turns it on and off.That keeps the cord from getting hot. The only problem with that is at night with the sound of it clicking on and off every 10 minutes or so, I'm a light sleeper.Other than that, it suits my purposes. Performance Cord can get hot after consistent running for an hour or more. Ease of Use Has a remote which is very nice. Design Makes a clicking noise when it rotates, which can be annoying. Safety Don't like the cord heating up so I wonder about that!

Nice lil' heat producer we purchased after our first child. Liked that it was so portable and that it could be set with a timer or certain temperature. I won't lie, there were a few mess ups where I'm surprised we didn't bake the baby, :) but she never seemed uncomfortable and of course we learned to just warm it up for a little while as she fell asleep like all new parents, right? That said, we knew it could heat up a room and we've used it several winters now without a fear of having it tip and enjoy that since it oscillates we can do a pretty large living area in a fairly short amount of time. Really helped when our furnace went out in November for thankfully some only cool evenings and we needed the chill out of the air. I really like it's portability and the care they seemed to take with safety on such a compact little must have like this. Performance It really toasted up our daughters room when we accidentally forgot to manage the temp auto set off, so it can be done, but mistakes can be made too! Ease of Use I only say the 3 over a higher rate as I don't often struggle with tech duties and I somehow managed to do a continuous over a set temperature, easy to mis-set! Durability It has lasted, it's portable, and it does as it should Design Oscillating and a strong base shows an excellent design Safety lingered over the easily mis set aspect again, but the base and shut off when tipped shows attention to the safety issue

If your looking for a small, powerful, safe heater then this one should be on your list. We purchased this heater before winter came in hopes of being able to heat the room we were currently in versus having to run the central heating system all the time. This was a good purchase on our part as we've been getting a ton of use out of it. The Honeywell Portable Compact Oscillating Heater HZ-338 will heat up a small or medium sized room very quickly. It has a few different settings allowing you to adjust its positioning and whether or not it rotates. You can also very easily adjust the temperatures using the buttons. If the heater stays on too long or gets too close to something or is tilted, it shuts off which is a really nice safety feature especially if you have animals or children. Performance Heats up a small to medium room in about a half hour to forty five minutes. Ease of Use As simple as pushing the buttons and plugging it in. Design Compact, portable, lightweight. Safety Shuts off if tilted or if placed too close to furniture.

I love this little heater! I have a very cold craft room, and this heater saves the day every day! I have been using it every day for the last 2-3 years, and it has never given me any troubles. It heats up quickly and makes my room HOT within just a few minutes. I love that it can oscillate to get at the whole room, or just stay in one place if I'm particularly cold and want the heat focused just on me. I also love that it is pretty compact and stores neatly away in my closet. I never tried it in a huge space, but it is ideal for a small room. I would highly recommend this heater! Safety It has a little sticker that gets red to let you know when it is still hot or when it is safe to touch - super useful!

My house is old - like 80 years old - and is drafty and chilly in the winter. It also only has electric baseboard heat, so supplemental heating is a must. I like to use this little space heater while watching tv. It will make you toasty warm, but this isn't the heater that will warm a room overall. It has to be fairly near you to warm you up. I have another space heater - one of those oil filled radiator types for when I'm trying to raise the ambient temperature of a room Safety It does tip over if you bump it, but shuts off automatically if that happens. It doesn't seem like the exterior gets terribly hot, at least not compared to the old space heaters my parents had back in the day.

This heater was great for heating an average size bedroom. Easy to carry to different rooms as well. Good value as well. Very portable and strurdy (won't tip over easily). Performance I used it for an average bedroom and it worked quickly to heat the room. The oscillation feature helped the room heat up evenly. Ease of Use I love the digital display. It shows the current temperature, and you can set your desired temperature. You can also set how long you want the heater to be on. Durability It is very sturdy, not easy to tip over. Design Easy to carry, not ugly to look at. It is easy to operate and the options are simple. Safety It has a timer, so you can go to sleep with it on, and have it set to go off on its own. It won't tip over easily because of the wide base.

My husband and I have had this compact heater for a couple years now. We usually keep it in the kitchen because it is much colder in there. Lately we have kept it in my youngest daughter's room because for some reason her room has been colder than the other bedrooms. I especially the cool feature it has on it to automatically shut off after a certain amount of time OR when it gets to a certain temperature. This makes it a much safer household item! It also has a swivel button, so it can rotate from one side of the room to the other, instead of staying stationary. It allows you to obviously go up or down in temperature and to set the timer, according to which feature you want to use (the temperature control or the hour control). Both of my daughters love this, especially in the mornings when eating breakfast. They like to keep it stationary on their feet lol. I would recommend this item if you want something compact, affordable and portable!

The Honeywell HZ338 ceramic electric compact heater is small, portable, but do not let it fool you with its heating capabilities!  This heater is made of ceramic but is covered in a black matte paint that keeps it sleek nad looking like it is new and fits in with your home decor.  This heater has a temperature gauge on it to read out exactly what heating level you haveit set at.  The heater only sends air out at either a low or high setting, but it tends to adapt to the setting you are in so that you are comfortable with the level of heat coming out.  The honeywell compact heater also has a nice easy grip handle that allows it to be easily transported, which is definitely something that it comes in handy for!  It is also nice because you can set the heater for different time intervals and it will either shut off or turn on automatically so you can heat the room intermittently without burning lots of electricity.
