I have had this vacuum for several years and it still works great. I vacuum almost everyday and this vacuum shows very little change in performance. It's easy to empty the canister and it's to clean the hose to keep the suction working great. Maneuverability The front is pretty big and doesn't swivel so you have to move furniture to effectively vacuum but it does a great job getting dust, crumbs, etc against trim and out of corners. It's a little heavy but easy enough to lift to be able vacuum steps. Ease of Maintenance It's easy to release and clean the dust canister. It's also easy to clean the hose to keep it from getting clogged. Suction Performance I find both the regular suction is great for getting crumbs from around corners of the room and the hose is very effective for steps as well as getting dust off the trim, picking up crumbs under furniture and cleaning my floor registers. I've had this vacuum for several years and it still has great suction power but you have to keep the hose clean. Versatility It's easy to use on carpets and easy to use the hose on steps as well. The only downfall is that the front doesn't swivel to help get to hard to reach places Design It's a traditional vacuum so the design is good. It's easy to see when the canister needs to be change, the hose is easy to store/use and it's not bulky so it's easy to store in the laundry room closet. Durability I've had this vacuum for a number of years and it still works great. I've never had any issues with it's performance or with the hose ripping or breaking.
