I LOVE HOPPS!

5

A Hoppediz was the first woven wrap I ever bought for my kids. Of the most familiar woven wraps, Hopps are the widest, which is great for older kids or beginners. It also comes in a 5.4 meter length which is great for larger moms who want to do all the different carries. A standard Hopp is also one of the thicker woven wraps, so it may not be best for hot weather but works great for fall/winter/spring. For summer, there's a Hoppediz Light that's thinner and has the feel of an expensive, high-threadcount bedsheet. Safety Super strong! The wide width helps with back carries as well. Baby's Comfort Made from 100% snuggly cotton, and the more you use it, the softer it gets. Parents' Comfort Once you've learned how to wrap it correctly, nothing beats a woven for weight distribution and comfort. Ease of Use Woven wraps have a learning curve, which can frustrate some new users. Durability I'm reasonably sure you could use a regular Hopp to tow a small car without it ripping.

Easy, comfortable, often overlooked, affordable woven wrap.

When I meet someone that is interested in wearing their baby in a wrap, I inevitably recommend to them a Hopp. Hopps are just as high quality as Didymos, with a much smaller price tag, new or used. Whereas Didymos has several different weaves to choose from (Indio, waves, stripes, etc) and they all wrap differently, Hopps are all the same weave, so easier to explain to a beginner. The nature of the Hopp weave allows new wrappers to be sucessful quickly. The weave is forgiving of sloppy wrap jobs, which is a plus whether you are new or simply in a hurry. Even when you do a sloppy job of wrapping, there are no pressure points and no backache. They have great, simple colors to choose from, and most of their choices will match any outfit you are wearing. Hopps are known for being indestructible. I have a mei tai made from a Hopp who's straps have been stepped on in countless parking lots, washed on hot in the washing machine and dried on high, used as a blanket to sit on at the park, and was used when I bought it. It has faded a little from the washing, but its still just as sturdy and trustworthy as the day it was new. When a Hopp gets a pull in the fabric, its not a big deal - it just stays put, it doesn't continue to pull. You really get your money's worth with these wraps.

Supportive and economical woven wrap

Hoppediz woven wraps are workhorse wraps.  They can take a beating and never show any signs of wear.  Hopps are supportive and great for toddler wearing.  They are nice and wide which is helpful when wearing a toddler.  Those extra inches keep him secure up to his shoulders/neck. Hopps are machine washable.  I would wear my kiddo to the play ground and then lay the wrap on the ground to sit while he played.  Or we'd use it as a blanket to eat lunch on.  Then I could wrap him back up and walk home.  The colors are vibrant, though I'm not much a fan of stripes and most hoppediz have stripes.  I do wish they had more variety in their line and would release more patterns and colors.  I've owned two hoppediz woven wraps and found both of them to be very comfortable.  I had a long one and a short one.  I liked a hopp as a shorty in a ruck tied under the bum.  Very comfortable in a one layer carry.

BEST WOVEN WRAP EVER!

Okay so there are the Didymos, Storchenweige, BBSlen, the lists can go on and on and on and on forever and ever and one name that I think should be on the very top is Hoppediz. Now they are known as a relatively inexpensive hardy no frills wrap, but in my experience these wraps are the absolute best; The cream of the crop! This wrap is excellent for beginner's as it is really comfortable even when you do the worst wrap job you ever have done.. you actually can wear it. And I like that. I hate finicky wraps where if everything isn't all in it's place your shoulders hurt or your back feels funky and it just makes it a chore. And it shouldn't be about the wrapping it should be WHY you are wrapping and that is to be close to your baby. I love it so much I have the pink one ( miami) and .. too many more to list just in case my husband reads this and is being nosey about how I spend .. his /our money. At any rate if you really want to be nosey check out www.whos-green.info and www.thebabywearer.com full of helpful articles forums and tutorials to help you along your babywearing path!
