A few years ago, my husband surprised me with this sewing machine for Christmas. I felt bad that he spent so much money on something I might not use very often. But we tried it out, and it was great! Our first project was to sew fleece ferret hammocks for a local ferret shelter. We ended up making over 100 of them to donate! I'm not a pro seamstress by any means, so I don't really feel qualified to comment on the advanced features. But for me, someone who sews as a hobby, this machine is a great first sewing machine! I really should use it more often...but let's just admit my 2 toddlers don't leave much time for hobbies. :) If you are in the market for a sewing machine, add this one to your list, it is certainly worth checking out.
