I bought this machine used/refurbished, and it has really taken everything I've thrown at it.   From denim to quilting, home decor to kids clothes, it has sewn them all beautifully!  I've even sewn words on some paper invitations I was making, and they turned out great!  There are a lot of features with this machine, and endless embroidery options, but it is very user friendly and easy to figure out.  I was embroidering within an hour of getting it home!  I could not be more pleased with it.  It also seems very durable.  The only thing that has been a problem is sometimes it fails to read the embroidery d-card.  It seems that the card is sometimes loose in the slot or gets shaken out, as the machine shakes a little when its embroidering.
