I Just started taking this and I was surprised at how well it worked.....no hangovers, decrease in racing thou guts, anxiety, sleeplessness...I think it builds up i, your system and works better over time.

I have been using Calms Forte for a very long time as I was in a living situation where due to rudeness of others, I was unable to sleep for years and could not get out of the situation. I tried almost everything you could imagine and nothing was working. Calms Forte is a combination of herbal extracts and biochemic phosphate salts which work beautifully as a combination. They are not dangerous and habit forming, but I found for me and my husband I had to break tablets into QUARTER pieces so that they would work yet not leave me feeling groggy the next day. To show how safe they are, I could not find my jar of tablets one night and looked everywhere for them. I discovered the empty bottle in my daughter's crib and her blue tongue grinned at me to my horror. She had eaten almost an entire bottle of 32 pills! She suffered not one side effect from them, and what shocked me even more is that my husband and I have to take a quarter pill to keep from feeling groggy, and my night hawk baby took a while bottle and STILL stayed awake all night with no side effects at all!!! Effectiveness A quarter tablet for my husband and I will give us a very restful sleep all night long and we will wake up feeling rested, but it will take a few hours to shake a slightly sleepy feeling that I still have. If it does not do as well under very high stress situations, I will take another quarter until it starts to work. Due to my observation of my daughter after eating a bunch of these, there are some people who even a regular dose won't work for! Ease of Use The tablets dissolve slowly under the tongue or can be chewed and still be effective. They are easy to take and usually by the time I am swallowing the last bit of my dose, I am just about asleep. Immediacy I have seen these work as quickly as five minutes, and take as long as an hour, depending on the stress level in play and the situation at hand. Sometimes if we are under a lot of severe stress, it will take longer, but most of the time, these tablets take under a half hour to work their magic. Side Effects Most sleep aids I have tried over the years leave me feeling horrible for the next day or two and it is an awful feeling. When taking the reduced dosage of Calms Forte I have found that I still feel a bit groggy the next morning, but it fades quickly. If I take the recommended dosage, however, I will feel a bit out of it the next day and prefer not to feel that way. Having said that, I want to re-emphasize that this is the BEST sleep aid reaction I have had of any herbal or other sleep aid out there, so I will take Calms Forte over those any day. Some people I know that take regular dosages feel no hangover at all whatsoever and feel totally refreshed.

I just started using Hyland's Calm Forte about two months ago . I love it. It works and is natural. That's the part that really pleased me that it is natural but really works super well. I like that I go to sleep about thirty minutes after I lay down and stay asleep throughout the night. I like that when I wake up I don't feel groggy or weird. One of the unexpected results I had while using it is that I felt calm the next day. Not sleepy but calm. I would recommend trying the product more than anything else over the counter or prescription. The only thing I don't like about the product is that it is a little nasty tasting but hey for a great nights sleep and mellow time the next day I can stand a little bit of an aftertaste.

I have had problems sleeping for several years now. I wasn't aware Hyland's Calms Forte' Sleep Aid existed until my daughter-in-law gave some to my daughter. I bought some of my own and plan to keep a supply in my cabinet permanently. My daughter and I use it most nights now to help us relax after emotionally stressful days. I also give it to her to help ease her panic and anxiety problems. She has mild panic disorder as a result of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. She began a new job recently and had an attack while working. She didn't want to take a prescription for her problems and become a guinnea pig for a doctor or pharmaceutical company. We were both also leery of becoming addicted to either a sleep aid or a panic and anxiety medication. Hyland's Calms Forte' Sleep Aid helps her get through her afternoons at work without becoming drowsy or panicked. It also helps calm our anxiety at bedtime so that we can both overcome those intruding thoughts that began to disrupt our ability to fall asleep. I recommend that anyone try it before giving in to prescription medication for sleep or mild anxiety attacks. It is affordable, non-addictive, homeopathic, non-drowsy, no side effect over-the-counter help. You can also use it with Melatonin if you need the extra boost after particularly hard days. I did this and had absolutely no side effects. Melatonin is also a natural sleep aid and might work fine for some on its own. I am not a doctor. If you're like me, you know those nights all too well! And if that's the case, Hyland's Calms Forte might be worth a try. It's important to understand what Hyland's Calms Forte does and does do. This product won't knock you out like a prescription sleeping pill. It's not really a sleeping pill at all, actually -- what it does is help your mind and body calm down enough for you to fall asleep naturally. In this way, it's far more gentle than a typical sleeping pill. It's a sleep aid, but it won't drug you and leave you hungover or groggy in the morning. Because of this, it can also be taken during the day as a relaxent. Hyland's Calms Forte is a natural product with no known interactions with other drugs. It comes in tablet form, and it includes natural relaxents like chamomile and passionflower. My only complaint is that it can be a bit hard to find if you don't have a natural grocery store nearby. However, it can be found easily enough online.

  Calms Forte works, but you have to take it at least an hour before you go to bed.  It doesn't keep you asleep, but it helps you become tired.  But the calming side of this medication is wonderful!  The person I was caring for in their home for 4 1/2 years, died recently and I couldn't stop crying.  The directions say to take 1-2 caplets up to 3 times a day for a relaxant and it **really** worked!  It calmed me down enough so that I could think about the person without sobbing.  It let me remember the good times that we had.  It does not have a morning after effect even though you take up to two caplets up to 3 times.  It also will not put you to sleep.  But if you have trouble going to sleep, I suggest taking the three caplets, and keeping two more on the bedside table for when you wake up during the night.  But do not take three caplets if you have to get up in 3 hours.  If you do, and then sit down for a while, you will find yourself dozing.

Calms forte isn't your typical sleep medicine. This is a great non-habit forming way to calm yourself down and get your body ready for sleep. This isn't the type of pill (for me at least) that will knock you out. I can take Calms Forte and still not go to sleep. It simply helps calm you down enough that you are able to sleep if you are ready. However, medicines usually don't phase me so maybe it makes others sleepier! Calms Forte is affordable and comes in different amounts. It is made from natural ingredients so I don't feel like I'm taking a pill. The only problem I have with Calms Forte is that it worked miracles when I started taking it but now it seems like my body has become used to it and it doesn't have as much of an effect on me as before. The pills dissolve very fast and taste a bit strange so be ready with your glass of water when you take them! Overall this is a great product and I would recommend it.

I use these occassionally for myself and they seem to do the trick.  There have been a few nights that I have tried them and they did absolutely nothing. But the times that it did work I felt well rested in the morning without feeling groggy the next day.  I would recommend these to anyone who is looking to relax easier at night or during the day. It is natural and homeopathic so the chance of a drug interaction with other meds may be minimal.  They are a little pricey but you can always find them on sale at your local ddrug store.    The sleep that you get from these is NOT equivalent to teh sleep you would get from benadryl or nyquil.   When you use this product, it is much easier to wake up (like if you have a baby that wakes up in the middle of the night). I have taken benadryl and nyquil and have been completely useless the next morning. Calms Forte will not have this effect. This is a great product!

I tried this product because I'm looking for a natural alternative to drugs, both prescription and over the counter.  I haven't had a normal sleep pattern for as long as I can remember... I toss and turn, wake up every hour or so, grind my teeth... the list goes on.  So, needless to say, I'm always looking for healthy sleep aids, especially those that are drug-free. I have taken prescription sleep aids such as Ambien in the past, and had awful side effects (Sleep eating? Yes, it really happened.. more than once!), plus I'd sleep 12+ hours and feel hungover and groggy in the morning, which would often last throughout the majority of the morning/early afternoon. The thing I take most often is Benadryl, but even that can leave me feeling pretty groggy in the morning.. so I turned to Calms Forte. I took 2 caplets approx 45 minutes before I went to bed a couple nights in a row.  I had very strange dreams, and while I did feel more relaxed and able to sleep initially, they quickly wore off and I was awake tossing and turning as usual.  It's all-natural and relatively inexpensive, even though it didn't work for me, I'd say it's worth a shot for you.
