I used to use boxed hair dye before my stylist scolded me about it. I didn't realize boxed hair dyes sat on your hair rather than absorbing. Upon my stylists recommendation to use Ion color and developer I tried it out. I'll never go back! Ion hair coloring products are fantastic. They provide long lasting color and leave your hair feeling smooth. Not like other coloring products that can leave your hair feeling dry. I always follow up my dying with the Ion Color-Solutions Intense Moisturizing Conditioner. In my opinion, Ion is the best hair care/coloring family.

I really liked the color it delivered but I didn't really care for the smell. This product is perfect for someone like me who can not afford to go a salon. It's simple to mix, apply, and use with a brush.

Does what it is suppose to do. I just wish the chemicals weren't as harsh. Obviously using a 30 developer will be harsh but feel this is a little harsher than other brands. All & all it's a great product.

I color my hair every few months and I swear by Ion developer. It is the only developer I use. My hair is left soft and smells good. I get the color I want. I have 0 complaints. I also like it because the 30 developer lifts some darkness and I always get the color I want when I use Ion.

I first bought this product at a local beauty supply store and was a bit skeptical because I have had bad luck in the past with products like this, especially in this price range. But I was pleasantly surprised when the product worked as well as it did. It was relatively inexpensive and got the job done at almost a beauty shop level. Most other treatments always distorted my color, leaving awkward highlights, but this did exactly as advertised and turned my hair the proper color Ease of Application It was so easy to use this product. Actually I found it to be a lot easier than any other hair treatment I have ever used. It was definitely worth the money in terms of ease of application
