Durable & works great

I bought this flat iron about 2 & 1/2 years ago. I had never heard of this brand and frankly was a bit skeptical, but it was on sale and really needed a new flat iron. I'm so glad I gave it a chance. The fact that it's lasted this long, being that I use it so much, is great. It has multiple heat settings. Whether you have thin or thick hair, you set it to what suits you. It doesn't take long to heat up either. I like that it doesn't pull on your hair that much either. The one I had before this one pulled my hair quite a bit. The plates are thick enough to straighten big chunks of your hair and saves time. Why pay more for those really expensive flat irons when you can buy this one? Sometimes you take a chance and find a great product and this is one of those times. Highly recommend it!

The ONLY flat iron I will ever use.

When I first bought this flat iron I was a little skeptical because I had never heard of this brand. But when I got it and used it I knew this was the flat iron I've always wanted. It's also extremely durable! I've had mine for about 3 years and it still works just like the first day I bought it. The highest heat setting is like EXTREME HEAT, even for my hair, and I have super thick curly hair and it gets it pin straight. I believe the heat setting is about 425 degrees. And it feels like 500 :p I have mine set lower than that and it gets my hair perfectly straight and silky and it lasts so long. I haven't used anything this great ever. It's great for curling too. I recommend.

Jilbere flat Iron is as good as Chi if not better.

I received the Jilbere 1 1/2 inch Flat Iron as a Christmas present 7 years ago.  Believe it or not, it still works and going strong!  It has a temperature setting on it so you don't HAVE to fry your hair if you don't want to.  I've tried many other brands ranging from Conair to Chi and Jilbere seems to be the best quality without having to pay an unreasonable amount for it.  Chi seems to fry one's hair.  Jilbere can get as hot as the CHI but that would be by your own choice.  The plates don't take long to warm up.  It only takes about five minutes if that for it be ready for use.  Also, you only have to go over each section one time, unlike the other flat irons out on the market.  This not only saves you time but it saves your hair.  I would recommend this product for anyone with hair that's at least shoulder length.  If your hair is any shorter, a smaller flat iron would be best.  Be smart when it comes to your hair.  Yes, it does grow but do you want it to grow crappy?  I think not!

A Great Flat Iron from Jilbere (Of Course!)

I had previously been using a Gold'n Hot flat iron that would ALWAYS pull my hair. So, when I finally became tired of losing hair, I decided to purchase a new one. I wanted something that was going to be smooth, and since I had purchased at least a few other items made by Jilbere that I TRULY love, I decided to go with this one. It is wonderful! It never pulls and I love the feel of it in my hand. There is only one downside to it though- it gets VERY hot! It is even hotter than my curing iron. I have to be more careful not to burn my hair/new growth with it, but I would still definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Jilbere Ceramic Flat Iron-Porcelin Series is Hot Item

I Love the Jilbere Porcelin Series Hot Iron that I have been using for a minut now. I have thick hair which I also color and when I wake up or get out of the shower,it looks like I stuck my finger in a socket! This Flat Iron heats up very quick and it does the job in a pinch. My hair looks so silky after using this iron and it is sooo soft, and it goes through my hair so easy and it is not really heavy eiather. It also has a long enough cord to where you can plug it in on one side of the room and walk to the other if you had to. I would say give it a try I know you wont be disappointed and for the price it makes it even a better bargin. oh one more thing, there is only settings 1-10 on the dial but you dont need any more than that, it heats up realy fast and hot on 7.

I cannot say enough about my Jilbere flat iron.  I have had the same one for easily over 7 years, and it works as good as it did on the day I bought it.  It is so super easy to use, it's fast, and it leaves my hair straight and silky.  It was a bit on the expensive side, but I am not complaining, b/c I think it is worth every cent of that money.  It heats up in a matter of seconds (seconds!).  The 1 1/2 inch width is perfect for my long, thin hair.  It is easy to hold, easy to manipulate, and I can pretty much have all my hair straightened in 10 minutes tops.  All I know is that I will be so disappointed when this straightener bites the dust, because it has been a God sent.  I even bought the same exact straightener for my mom, because she was not happy with the one she was currently using.  My only complaint would be that it does not have an automatic shutoff feature, and there have been a couple times when I forgot to unplug it. Overall though, it is worth every penny!
