I am a natural blonde and really love having blonde hair. When I saw this line out, I bought some right away. I wanted to help the blonde color in my hair really shine and show it off. I was really excited about this shampoo and I think it did a really good job at getting my hair clean. However, I did not see much of a difference in the way my blonde showed through. My hair didn't seem any shinier or blonder than it did with other shampoos. I liked the shampoo and used it for quite some time. However, I would not go into it expecting to see much results with the color. It is a good shampoo though and I would use it again for how it made my hair feel. Effectiveness It was very effective in getting my hair clean and making it feel nice and soft. However, it was not effective in making my blonde shine through anymore. Scent The scent is wonderful. I really like the scent of all the Sheer Blonde products. I would recommend it on scent alone.

While this conditioner does not work as well as a tone correcting product designed to correct brassiness in blonde hair color, it does seem to at least preserve the blonde color well and also brighten the existing color a bit. All of John Frieda's products work well, and they are very affordable for what you get. This conditioner does a good job of conditioning hair. The smell is pleasant, but not overpowering. It is a great "staple" conditioner product to have. It can work well on all types of hair, even those that aren't blonde or previously colored.
