This is a great dryer. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some other dryers, but I didn't need them one bit. That also helps to keep the price down much lower than most of the other dryers, but is a lot less expensive. Load Capacity I like how this dryer can hold just as much wet laundry as any other dryer. It handles my family's needs and we do a lot of laundry. Performance Clothes always come out dry and nice and warm. My old dryer sometimes had some wet spots with large loads so I got rid of it. This one has not given me that problem and I don't expect that problem. Ease of Use I had no issues learning how to use this dryer. It was very easy to figure out the controls. Durability I use this dryer every day and it hasn't broken down or given me any reason to worry about it. Design I like that this dryer has a pretty simple design and a plain white color. I don't have a flashy wash room so I didn't need to spend extra money for a fancy looking dryer.

This Kenmore Electric Dryer is a basic dryer that is very simple to use. With a few pushes of a button, your clothes will be dry in no time. It is a great machine to teach kids how to do laundry. If you are looking for a dryer with a lot of fancy features, this is not the machine for you. There is an "auto dry" feature; however, it has never worked for us and our clothing still remains wet. We just do not bother using the feature. Overall, I recommend this machine. Sure, it is fancy but it is cost effective and does the job. Load Capacity Holds enough clothes for my boyfriend and I. We are able to dry towels and jeans with no problem. Performance The dryer works perfectly fine for normal use. However, the auto dry feature has never seemed to work for us. The clothes do not come out dry, so we just do not bother using that feature. Ease of Use The ease of use is one of the best features of this dryer. All you have to do is turn one knob to the amount of time, then the setting [heavy, delicate], and hit the start button. This is a great dryer for beginners. Growing up my parents had a very similar version of this dryer [but a different brand] and it is the one they taught me to dry clothes in. Great washer for teaching the kiddos some responsibility. Durability We got this Kenmore dryer used and have had it for about 6 months and had no problems yet. Design If you want a fancy dryer, this is not the machine for you. My Kenmore 7.0 cubit foot Electric Dryer with Auto Dry is a perfect complement to my Kenmore washer. The white color just feels nostalgic to me since I grew up with all white laundry machines. I tire of the ultra modern stainless steel and black. As I mentioned in my review of the Kenmore washer, I have a family of four (three males), and we produce a lot of laundry between the four of us. I run my dryer constantly, and have never had an issue. Except for the one time that my oldest son put a dry/erase marker down in the lint filter. I still haven't been able to fish it out. The dryer made a really loud sound for several week but then was fine. So, whatever happened to the marker is beyond me, but miraculously, the dryer was unharmed. It must have been designed for moms with small children. The auto dry feature makes this dryer smart, in my opinion. It dries my clothes appropriately without wasting time and energy on running an overly long cycle once the clothes are already dry. When it comes to the most burning, energy saving question, the only feature on this washer that seems up to date and attention setting! The very fancy, auto dry, which is supposed to sense when your laundry. I am sorry to report but the feature is bogus. My laundry is always still wet when I use the auto dry. That was a bit of a disappointment for me, as I was hoping to save some electricity with this feature. As for the rest of the dryer, it has met my expectations. It is spacious, with a number of heat settings. I can adjust the time, and it dries my items effectively. The lint trap is easy to clean and replace, so easy that my three and four year olds love to help me with this part of the laundry. The dryer was cost effective when we bought it, and has now been working for a number of years. It continues to have exceptional heat, and my dry times are no longer than when we got it. It does not have a lot of frills, but it absolutely gets the job done for the my family of five.

My 12 and 14 year olds easily use this dryer without any help. Durability This dryer is durable. I have not had any issues with it no matter the capacity I use during a drying cycle. I was looking for a basic, economical dryer and was very happy when I found this 7.0 cu. ft. Electric Dryer w/ Auto Dry feature. I found it to be the perfect size to use in an apartment. It is a sturdy made dryer and holds up very well. The level legs on the bottom are easy to use to make the necessary adjustments to bring the dryer into a level position and once set, it stays level. This dryer does not move around when in use. I found there to be no vibration in this machine. The dryer cord was long enough to reach the outlet receptacle. The dials on the back of the dryer are well placed, keeping them out of the way of small hands that like to play with buttons and knobs. The auto dry feature works excellent. The door is easy to open and stays closed during operation. The level of the door opening is also at the right height. The whole exterior of this dryer wipes clean easily with a damp cloth. The dryer itself runs quietly when in use.
