I have had my Kenmore 7.2 cubic feet Freezer Chest for about five years now. We do our grocery shopping in bulk, so this freezer really comes in handy. I have heard people complain about the durability, but that has not been a problem for me. It is spacious enough to hold almost a whole half a hog AND half a beef from the butcher, although I did have to put a couple things in the refrigerator freezer. The temperature control could be a little better, it seems to build up ice around the sides. That, in turn, makes it a little difficult to clean, as if that was not hard enough for us short people in the first place! I like the design though, it fits like a glove in my kitchen. The capacity is great! I could not believe how much I could fit in it! If it was not for the ice building up on the sides making it hard to clean, I would give this Kenmore Chest Freezer a ten. I usually go with Whirlpool brand, but got this Kenmore because it was cheaper and I could not afford the Whirlpool at that time. I must say, you really do get what you pay for.

This freezer has so much space! Wow! It's built slim and so it fit perfectly in my already packed kitchen. There are things that I put in there that I'm just now finding all over again. Unbelievable! I would buy it all over again, it's definitely well worth the money...

Purchased this a few years ago when my children became teenagers. My fridge freezer just couldn't keep up with the non-stop eating demands of these growing years! Never before realized just how useful having an extra freezer can be. This is just the perfect size for a small family. It provides more than enough space for buying sale items and other kid friendly easy food such as frozen pizzas, etc. It has a nice basket, which helps keep items organized. Our freezer is white and I'm not sure whether or not it is available in other colors. This was a non-issue, since we keep it in the basement. At first I was concerned as to how often it would need defrosting. That has yet to become an issue. It is very energy efficient. I noticed only a slight difference in our electric bill. Well worth the tradeoff for the convenience it brings. The only thing I would do different is to have purchased one of these sooner!

It doesn't take up a lot of space in the kitchen and is great with food. It' easy to clean and kid-proof. It comes with a basket to put the smaller items to and a deep interior to put the bigger meats for storage. The color is also great and it also comes with a light to detect if the freezer is working or not.

I like this deep freezer because I don't have much space and the compact size works. It freezes the food well. What I do not like is that it isn't self defrosting, so when it comes time to defrost, I will have a difficult time. Otherwise, I LOVE this deep freezer to stock up on food when it is on sale.

I decided to start cooking all from scratch a few years ago. We had a huge giant chest freezer that worked OK but I hated it and how big it was. I bought this one because it fit better in my kitchen and I wanted a nice new freezer to start with. I love this freezer. It fits nicely into my kitchen, and it doesn't take up too much room - but it is roomy enough to store a lot of food. Right now in mine I have 50 pounds of bacon, 20 pounds of sausage, 40 pounds of chicken, and various red meats as well. I can keep a lot of stuff in here, and sometimes as I get pretty full, I do have to pull out a few things to dig down a little deeper, but its not so big that food gets lost in here.

I have never had an issue with this freezer. Except one time, but I did not shut the door properly so it was my fault. The door seals well and the freezer holds an amazing amount for the size. It saves a ton of space and I can easily store lots of items from my summer garden for winter use in it!

I just bought this freezer a few weeks ago from home depot after my tiny fridge freezer compartment got to full. I am very satisfied with this freezer. It's efficient, freezes food quickly and is compact so it fits in the space I needed it to in my laundry room. It has a shelf and a drawer that are higher up in the freezer so you can put stuff in them that you don't want to get buried at the bottom. I like also that it came with a leaflet telling ,e how much it would cost me in electricity in a year to use it.

I went down to get some meat out of my Model 253169491101 7 cu ft freezer . All the meat had defrosted . The freezer would not run but the power light was lit . The Manufacture date on the freezer is 8 - 11 . Wow , it lasted 2 1/2 years . I have no plans to purchase any more Kenmore Products !
