I got this as a Christmas gift last year. I have not put it away since! I love this slow cooker so much that I use it at least twice per week. It is so amazing that it has a timer so you can set how long you want the food to cook then it automatically puts the slow cooker on the warm setting. You do not even have to be there to turn it down! This is great for me since I often times forget I am cooking. It also has the feature to just continue cooking until you turn it off. It is also nice because it has low, medium and high settings. It is also the perfect size. The only problem I have with this slow cooker is that when you have it on the warm setting it will burn the food. It is almost as if you have to let it cool down for awhile before you turn it on warm or it will keep cooking the food. This is only a problem if you leave the food in there for many hours as I tried to cook overnight and the food touching the sides was a little over cooked. Ease of Cleaning I do not think this slow cooker in particular is hard to clean, I just think they all are in general. I use the liners whenever I use mine and just throw that away and do a quick wash. Much simpler than scrubbing for hours!

Before purchasing this product I had never used a slow cooker in my life. However after so many people told me how handy they are for busy families on the go I decided to look into it. I saw the size of this one and thought it would be a perfect size for my growing family. I do not always have the time to make the home cooked meals I would prefer, and truth is if I am spending a lot of time in the kitchen I prefer to bake rather than cook. The Kenmore 7 quart slow cooker has simplified my life so much! I can throw a bunch of ingredients in it turn it on and go about my day taking care of the kids and activities or anything else that needs to be done without hovering over the stove all day long! I have tried out several recipes for soups and chili and they have come out wonderfully! I was really worried when I tried to cook meat in it that it would burn it but instead I found out the longer I leave it in the crockpot the more tender the meat becomes! It literally falls off the fork! An added perk is that the inside of the container actually comes out to act as a serving dish as well. A must have for busy families on the go! Time to Heat It takes time to cook anything in it, but it IS a slow cooker. Cooking Performance Works beautifully I can have quality home cooked meals for my family without feeling like I am chained to the stove all day long. Ease of Cleaning very easy to clean! The inside part you cook in comes out to make quick work of cleaning this product. Ease of Use It is very simple to use. I had no problems with it even though I had never used a crock pot before buying this product. Design I love the look of it and I love how the inside can double as a serving dish! Durability very durable product!

The Kenmore crock pot is large, cleans easily, and easy to use.  I wish the pot weren't as heavy, as I'm afraid it might chip if I'm not careful.  The price makes it a great value, and I trust that the kenmore brand has up to date features and is competitive with other, more expensive brand names.  There are also some good recipes included...would have liked more or links to site that offer slow cooked meal/ one-pot options.  I do appreciate that I can prep a meal the night before and take the crok pot out of the fridge and place it on the base and go in the morning.  One less thing to think about while I'm at work!

This slow cooker was purchased a few Christmases ago and we haven't had a problem yet! We wanted a big slow cooker and this one seemed to be perfect. We loved that fact that the inside was removable! It can also be used as a serving dish. I have made big roasts and slow cooked pork, chilis and soups and most have turned out well. If I don't put in a meal that is big enough to fill up the pot, however, I have to be careful about the temperature and time. Once I put a roast in that was less than 3 lbs and it was done in no time! Glad it was a day that I was home to monitor the cooking. Also, I rarely use slow cooker bags and I do not have a hard time cleaning the removable inside if I soak it for a little bit. I do think this slow cooker does get a bit hot, but I'd rather have that than not hot enough. There are 3 different heat settings and I like those, as well as the timer and keep warm setting. This slow cooker has been a time saver in our kitchen and I do not regret my purchase at all.

Sometimes this crock pot is almost too big. But not often. I acquired the use of this pot when I married my husband. He used it as a bachelor to make soups. I don't know when it happened but the handles on the sides have broken off. We still use it almost monthly. Recently, I used it to make some black bean soup for a soup dinner for others. I was able to drain out some soup and transport it to the church. This one has a timer and you can set it on low, medium or high. There's also a keep warm setting so when the timer runs out it automatically goes to keep warm. It should really be called "keep hot" because it really does stay hot. I haven't tried it, but this pot seems almost big enough to hold 2 whole chickens. We'll make big double batches of recipes in it and don't have a problem fitting the lid. Easy to clean but slow cooker liners are just about the greatest invention ever!

i bought this crock pot as a replacement for a 20 year old hand me don that finally cracked. i thought my old one was the best thing ever. then i used this. i LOVE THIS CROCK POT. it has 4 heat settings (i love htat it has a medium setting) its large enough to easily cook roasts, soups, even homemade sauce. this is an amazing crock pot. it is easy to use, easy to clean up. for the price that i paid, this is a great investment. i have never had a problem with Kenmore appliances, and this one has yet to disppoint. i have made so many yummy dishes in this crock pot, i couldn't imagine life without it. I can set the timer on it, and go run my errands or go out for the day, without worrying about my food being overcooked. bon appetit!

I've had my Kenmore slow cooker for a couple years now and it's working perfectly even still. I use my slow cooker all the time. It always cooks exactly as I ask it to. You can set the timer and it will stop at that point. If not you can count on the front how long it's been running, which I find very convenient when I'm exactly sure when I started it. There are several temperature settings including "keep warm" so if my dish is done cooking a while before we're reading to eat it, it will just keep it warm for me. The insert is dishwasher safe so I put it on the bottom rack of the dishwasher and it's clean the next day! If I don't feel like having to clean it at all I can use a plastic liner. I pull it out and put it straight into the garbage and put my crock pot away. Super easy! The one downside to this crockpot is that the outside does get hot while it's cooking. I just make sure it's not directly against my backsplash when cooking.

This the best crock pot I have ever had. I have two jobs and am quite busy all day from 9 am to 9 pm at night. I never have time to actually make a home cooked meal for myself and my family, it's usually just some frozen pizza or frozen dinner. I decided to buy a crock pot to help me and my family start having a healthy diet, so I went to K-Mart and found this crock pot. It has three different temperatures and when the timer goes off it holds your food to keep it warm. I usually don't have time in between jobs to get home to turn it off, but with this crock pot you don't have to worry about that. It turns to warm and keeps your food warm without continuing to cook and get your food all mushy. I usually use the low setting on it so my food cooks all day, but you casn also use the medium and high setting which is great because your meal still comes out great without any problem. I have owned many many crock pots, but this one is the best. Even for storing the rest of your dinner the inside comes right out and can be put in the fridge or freezer. Clean is great as well just rinse and into the dishwasher it goes. Less mess and no problem. Easy and healthy dinner on the table as if I were home preparing it all day long. My suggestion is to get one of these as soon as possible. Especially for you working moms out there. It makes life easier and healthier for your loved ones.

I absolutely love this crock pot.  I use it every week at least once a week and have nothing bad to say about it.  I work 12 hour days and a crock pot is nice, but one that you can set to go to warm when it is done cooking is even better.  I can put it on the amount of time I want it to cook and the it switches itself to warm when it is done and stays there until you turn it off.  It is easy to clean and nothing I have cooked yet has stuck to it so much that I cannot get it off.  It is the perfect size to throw in as many vegetable as you want along with a roast or chicken big enough to feed my 5 person family.  I have cooked everything from breads and desserts to roasts, chili and soups in it and still haven't found a bad point to it.  I would recommend this product to any busy mom who wants to feed her family a nice holesome and healthy, home cooked meal.  Buy this one with confidence ladies, it is awesome.
