My House air condition went out in the middle of the hottest month of the Year, With fans going with no relief I decieded to go look for air condition for the window. After looking high and low I came across a Kenmore 71055 Air Condition that was in my price range, once I put in the window started it up WOW, didn't know that it would cool off the room so fast. It so cool that I didn't want to leave the room at all. Might go and buy another.

I bought this a few summers ago for the window in my bedroom and have not had any problems. Getting it into the window was easy enough. From there you just gotta plug it in and you are good to go. Right away, you will notice that lots of cool air is flowing through it. If you are just cooling one room it will cool very quickly and you will not have to keep the AC on for very long. One problem is that if you are trying to cool multiple rooms that aren't very close to the AC unit. If that is the case, the rooms further away will not get much cool air and will remain warm unless you leave the AC on for a very long time. One minor complaint about the unit will be how loud it is. It is not very quiet and if you are sitting near it the sound is becomes quite intrusive. All in all though, this is a very good unit at a reasonable price. If you are looking to cool off on those hot summer days you will not be disappointed.

We purchased this Kenmore air conditioner and placed it in our dining room. I was truly amazed how cool it kept our entire downstairs.  The remote control was a blessing for my elderly mother who has a hard time getting around. Once we turned on our air conditioner  my mothers breathing became so much better, the heat was making her sick.  I would truly recommend this brand as it truly is a life saver.
