Not only does it look awesome from the outside, the inside is excellently designed and very spacious. It keeps my food and beverages very fresh and remains odorless. This is an overall great refrigerator.

I was so excited to finally get a french door refridgerator. After researching and shopping around, I finally decided on this refridgerator. In my opinion, there is a lot more I dislike about this refridgerator than I like. The fake stainless steel scratches VERY easily. I cannot put anything on the surface, including magnats. This is very tough with 4 kids. I do like how you have to open both french doors to access the deli drawer, this is a pain. The doors also so not close easily. Half the time they stay slightly open. Thankfully it has the beep sensor to let you know or my fridge would be open half the time. I also do not like that it does not have an ice dispenser. You have to open the freezer and pull out the top drawer, which sticks half the time, to access the ice tray. Overall, I like the space I now have with this refridgerator and it is functional, but I would not buy again or reccommend to a friend.

I'm giving the Kenmore Elite Refrigerator 3 stars because it has one flaw. The water is dispensed from the door but the ice is in the bottom freezer section. When you pull out the tray to get ice, the metal bar that is used to detect how much ice is used drags misc. pieces of ice when you pull out the tray. So you always get ice on the bottom of the freezer and on the floor. Every time I want ice I have to clean up ice on the floor. A few times I have missed some pieces and they later melted and became hazardous. I still like the overall design of the fridge and I doubt I'll ever go back to the big double door type. It's nice to open both big doors and see everything very easily. I'm hoping they will fix the ice issue. I had a repairman check it out and he said it was a flaw with no fix.

We have built three houses in the past 5 years, so I have bought all new appliences three times.  For our most recent home we purchased this Kenmore Elite french door refrigerator.  Let me start by saying that I love the french doors and refrigerator on top.  It makes it so much easier to see your food and I feel like I don't let things spoil quite as often.  There are good compartments and drawers to organize the food.  The bottom freezer comes with a roll out drawer as well as a tilt out shelf.  You can fit a suprizing amount of food in it.  We purchased a stainless upright freezer to hold overflow freezer stuff, so have never run into a storage problem there.  My complaints are that the stainless steel front of the fringe seems to ding really easily.  It seems like you barely bump it and it dents.  Some of the dents I don't even know where they came from.  It is really frustrating.  I had also read a reveiw before we bought and it seemed like several people had problems with the plastic drawers and parts cracking.  I thought that sounded weird, but it actually happened to me too.  Fortunately it was a couple weeks before the year warrantee expired.  It was really weird though.  I have never had that happen before.  The handle area for the vege drawer just cracked on day.  Also, a bunch of random plastic parts have broken off the underside of the bottom drawers as I was cleaning them.  They still function, but about a dozen little wheels and plastic parts have permanently come off.  The fridge has also blacked out on me 2-3 times.  The alarm goes off and the screen goes blank.  I have found if I reset the breaker (or unplug it) then turn it on, it will work again.  I really like the french door style refrigerator, and it is nice having the ice and water in the door.  Our next fridge will probably be a frenchdoor unit, but now a Kenmore Elite!

Worst refrigerator out there. I have owned mine for just over 3 years and it has broken down 5 times. The company refuses to fix it and parts are so expensive its not worth repairing. I would never buy one ever again. Next time invest in something that will last and stand the test of time.
